The Tabernacle Erected

1Then the LordH3068 spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2“1On the firstH7223 dayH3117 of the firstH259 monthH2320 you shall setH6965 up the 2tabernacleH4908 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 33You shall placeH7760 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715 thereH8033, and you shall screenH5526 the arkH727 with the veilH6532. 4You shall 4bringH935 in the tableH7979 and 56arrangeH6186 whatH6187 belongsH6187 on it; and you shall 7bringH935 in the lampstandH4501 and 8mountH5927 its lampsH5216. 5Moreover, you shall 9setH5414 the goldH2091 altarH4196 of incenseH7004 beforeH6440 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, and setH7760 up the veilH4539 for the doorwayH6607 to the tabernacleH4908. 6You shall setH5414 the altarH4196 of burntH5930 offeringH5930 in frontH6440 of the doorwayH6607 of the tabernacleH4908 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 7You shall 10setH5414 the laverH3595 betweenH996 the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and the altarH4196 and putH5414 waterH4325 11in it. 8You shall setH7760 up the courtH2691 allH5439 aroundH5439 and 12hangH5414 up the veilH4539 for the gatewayH8179 of the courtH2691. 9Then you shall takeH3947 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 and 13anointH4886 the tabernacleH4908 and allH3605 that is in it, and shall consecrateH6942 it and allH3605 its 14furnishingsH3627; and it shall be holyH6944. 10You shall anointH4886 the altarH4196 of burntH5930 offeringH5930 and allH3605 its utensilsH3627, and consecrateH6942 the altarH4196, and 15the altarH4196 shall be mostH6944 holyH6944. 11You shall anointH4886 the laverH3595 and its standH3653, and consecrateH6942 it. 12Then you shall 16bringH7126 AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 to the doorwayH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and washH7364 them with waterH4325. 1317You shall putH3847 the holyH6944 garmentsH899 on AaronH175 and anointH4886 him and consecrateH6942 him, that he may ministerH3547 as a priestH3547 to Me. 14You shall bringH7126 his sonsH1121 and putH3847 tunicsH3801 on them; 15and you shall anointH4886 them evenH3512 as you have anointedH4886 their fatherH1, that they may ministerH3547 as priestsH3547 to Me; and their anointingH4888 will 18qualifyH1961 them for a 19perpetualH5769 priesthoodH3550 throughout their generationsH1755.” 16Thus MosesH4872 didH6213; according to allH3605 that the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 him, soH3651 he didH6213.

17Now 20in the firstH7223 monthH2320 21of the secondH8145 yearH8141, on the firstH259 day of the monthH2320, the 22tabernacleH4908 was erectedH6965. 18MosesH4872 erectedH6965 the tabernacleH4908 and 23laidH5414 its 24socketsH134, and setH7760 up its boardsH7175, and 25insertedH5414 its barsH1280 and erectedH6965 its pillarsH5982. 19He spreadH6566 the tentH168 overH5921 the tabernacleH4908 and putH7760 the coveringH4372 of the tentH168 26on topH4605 of it, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 20Then he tookH3947 27the testimonyH5715 and putH5414 it into the arkH727, and 28attachedH7760 the polesH905 to the arkH727, and putH5414 the 29mercyH3727 seatH3727 30on topH4605 of the arkH727. 21He broughtH935 the arkH727 into the tabernacleH4908, and 31setH7760 up a veilH6532 for the screenH4539, and screenedH5526 offH5526 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 22Then he 32putH5414 the tableH7979 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150 on the northH6828 sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908, outsideH4480H2351 the veilH6532. 23He setH6186 the arrangementH6187 of 33breadH3899 in orderH6186 on it beforeH6440 the LordH3068, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 24Then he placedH7760 the lampstandH4501 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, oppositeH5227 the tableH7979, on the southH5045 sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908. 25He 34lightedH5927 the lampsH5216 beforeH6440 the LordH3068, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 26Then he 35placedH7760 the goldH2091 altarH4196 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150 in frontH6440 of the veilH6532; 27and he 36burnedH6999 fragrantH5561 incenseH7004 on it, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 28Then he setH7760 up the 37veilH4539 for the doorwayH6607 of the tabernacleH4908. 29He 38setH7760 the altarH4196 of burntH5930 offeringH5930 before the doorwayH6607 of the tabernacleH4908 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and 39offeredH5927 on it the burntH5930 offeringH5930 and the mealH4503 offeringH4503, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 30He placedH7760 the laverH3595 betweenH996 the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and the altarH4196 and putH5414 waterH4325 in it for washingH7364. 3140From it MosesH4872 and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 washedH7364 their handsH3027 and their feetH7272. 32When they enteredH935 the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and when they approachedH7126 the altarH4196, they washedH7364, justH3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 33He 41erectedH6965 the courtH2691 allH5439 aroundH5439 the 42tabernacleH4908 and the altarH4196, and 43hungH5414 up the veilH4539 for the gatewayH8179 of the courtH2691. Thus MosesH4872 finishedH3615 the workH4399.

The Glory of the Lord

3444Then the cloudH6051 coveredH3680 the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and the 45gloryH3519 of the LordH3068 filledH4390 the tabernacleH4908. 35MosesH4872 46was not ableH3201 to enterH935 the tentH168 of meetingH4150 becauseH3588 the cloudH6051 had settledH7931 on it, and the gloryH3519 of the LordH3068 filledH4390 the tabernacleH4908. 36Throughout allH3605 their journeysH4550 47whenever the cloudH6051 was takenH5927 up from overH5921 the tabernacleH4908, the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 would setH5265 out; 37but 48ifH518 the cloudH6051 was not takenH5927 up, then they did not setH5265 out untilH5704 the dayH3117 when it was takenH5927 up. 38For throughout allH3605 their journeysH4550, 49the cloudH6051 of the LordH3068 was on the tabernacleH4908 by dayH3119, and there was fireH784 in it by nightH3915, in the sightH5869 of allH3605 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478.
