16If, howeverוְאִם־ve.'im-H518,anyone strikesהִכָּ֛הוּhi.Ka.huH5221a person with an ironבַרְזֶ֧ל׀var.ZelH1270objectבִּכְלִ֨יbikh.LiH3627and kills himH4191,heה֑וּאHu'H1931is a murdererרֹצֵ֣חַֽro.Tze.achH7523;the murdererהָרֹצֵֽחַ׃ha.ro.Tze.achH7523must surely be put to deathH4191.

17Or ifוְאִ֡םve.'ImH518anyone has in his handיָד֩yadH3027אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834a stoneבְּאֶ֣בֶןbe.'E.venH68of deadly sizeH4191,and he strikesהִכָּ֛הוּhi.Ka.huH5221and kills anotherH4191,he is a murdererרֹצֵ֣חַֽro.Tze.achH7523;the murdererהָרֹצֵֽחַ׃ha.ro.Tze.achH7523ה֑וּאHu'H1931must surely be put to deathH4191.

18Ifא֡וֹ'oH176anyone has in his handיָד֩yadH3027אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834a deadlyH4191objectבִּכְלִ֣יbikh.LiH3627of woodעֵֽץ־'etz-H6086,and he strikesהִכָּ֛הוּhi.Ka.huH5221and kills anotherH4191,he is a murdererרֹצֵ֣חַֽro.Tze.achH7523;the murdererה֑וּא הָרֹצֵֽחַ׃Hu' ha.ro.Tze.achH7523 H1931must surely be put to deathH4191.

19The avengerגֹּאֵ֣לgo.'ElH1350of bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818ה֥וּאhu'H1931אֶת־'et-H853is to put the murdererהָרֹצֵ֑חַha.ro.Tze.achH7523to deathיָמִ֖יתya.MitH4191;when he findsבְּפִגְעוֹ־be.fig.'ov-H6293him,heה֥וּאhu'H1931is to kill himיְמִיתֶֽנּוּ׃ye.mi.Te.nuH4191.

20Likewise, ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518anyone maliciouslyבְּשִׂנְאָ֖הbe.sin.'AhH8135pushes anotherיֶהְדָּפֶ֑נּוּyeh.da.Fe.nuH1920orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176intentionallyבִּצְדִיָּ֖הbitz.di.YahH6660throws an objectהִשְׁלִ֥יךְhish.LikhH7993at himעָלָ֛יו'a.LavH5921and kills himוַיָּמֹֽת׃vai.ya.MotH4191,

21orא֣וֹ'oH176if in hostilityבְאֵיבָ֞הve.'ei.VahH342he strikes himהִכָּ֤הוּhi.Ka.huH5221with his handבְיָדוֹ֙ve.ya.DoH3027and he diesH4191,the one who struck himהַמַּכֶּ֖הha.ma.KehH5221must surely be put to deathH4191;heה֑וּאHu'H1931is a murdererרֹצֵ֣חַֽro.Tze.achH7523.When the avengerגֹּאֵ֣לgo.'ElH1350of bloodהַדָּ֗םha.DamH1818findsבְּפִגְעוֹ־be.fig.'ov-H6293the murdererהָרֹצֵ֖חַha.ro.Tze.achH7523,he is to killH4191himאֶת־'et-H853.
