30But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068brings aboutיִבְרָ֣אyiv.Ra'H1254something unprecedentedבְּרִיאָ֞הbe.ri.'AhH1278,and the earthהָאֲדָמָ֤הha.'a.da.MahH127אֶת־'et-H853opensוּפָצְתָ֨הu.fa.tze.TahH6475its mouthפִּ֙יהָ֙pi.haH6310and swallowsוּבָלְעָ֤הu.val.'AhH1104themאֹתָם֙'o.TamH853andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853allכָּל־kol-H3605thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834belongs to themso that they go downוְיָרְד֥וּve.ya.re.DuH3381aliveחַיִּ֖יםchai.YimH2416into Sheolשְׁאֹ֑לָהshe.'O.lahH7585,then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּ֧יkiH3588theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428אֶת־'et-H853menהָאֲנָשִׁ֥יםha.'a.na.ShimH582have treatedנִֽאֲצ֛וּni.'a.TzuH5006the LORD with contemptיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

33Theyהֵ֣םhemH1992went downוַיֵּ֨רְד֜וּvai.Ye.re.DuH3381aliveחַיִּ֖יםchai.YimH2416into Sheolשְׁאֹ֑לָהshe.'O.lahH7585with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605they ownedאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834.The earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776closedוַתְּכַ֤סva.te.KhasH3680over themעֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH5921,and they vanishedוַיֹּאבְד֖וּvai.yoe.DuH6fromמִתּ֥וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the assemblyהַקָּהָֽל׃ha.ka.HalH6951.

34At their criesלְקֹלָ֑םle.ko.LamH6963,allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the people of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478whoאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834werearound themסְבִיבֹתֵיהֶ֖םse.vi.vo.tei.HemH5439fledנָ֣סוּNa.suH5127כִּ֣יkiH3588,sayingאָֽמְר֔וּ'a.me.RuH559, “The earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776mayפֶּן־pen-H6435swallow us tooתִּבְלָעֵ֖נוּtiv.la.'E.nuH1104!”

35And fireוְאֵ֥שׁve.'EshH784came forthיָצְאָ֖הya.tze.'AhH3318מֵאֵ֣תme.'EtH854from the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068and consumedוַתֹּ֗אכַלva.To.khalH398אֵ֣ת'etH853the 250הַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וּמָאתַ֙יִם֙ha.cha.mi.Shim u.ma.Ta.yimH2572 H3967menאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376who were offeringמַקְרִיבֵ֖יmak.ri.VeiH7126the incenseהַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃ פha.ke.To.retH7004.

37“Tellאֱמֹ֨ר אֶל־'e.Mor 'el-H559 H413Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֜ר'el.'a.ZarH499sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֣ן'a.ha.RonH175the priestהַכֹּהֵ֗ןha.ko.HenH3548to removeוְיָרֵ֤םve.ya.RemH7311אֶת־'et-H853the censersהַמַּחְתֹּת֙ha.mach.TotH4289fromמִבֵּ֣יןmi.BeinH996the flamesהַשְּׂרֵפָ֔הha.se.re.FahH8316andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853to scatterזְרֵה־ze.reh-H2219the coalsהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784far awayהָ֑לְאָהHal.'ahH1973,becauseכִּ֖יkiH3588the censersare holyקָדֵֽשׁוּ׃ka.De.shuH6942.

39So Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵ֗ןha.ko.HenH3548אֵ֚ת'etH853tookוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947the bronzeהַנְּחֹ֔שֶׁתha.ne.Cho.shetH5178censersמַחְתּ֣וֹתmach.TotH4289אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834broughtהִקְרִ֖יבוּhik.Ri.vuH7126by those who had been burned upהַשְּׂרֻפִ֑יםha.se.ru.FimH8313,and he had them hammered outוַֽיְרַקְּע֖וּםvay.ra.ke.'UmH7554to overlayצִפּ֥וּיtzi.PuiH6826the altarלַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃la.miz.Be.achH4196,

41The next dayמִֽמָּחֳרָ֔תmi.mo.cho.RatH4283the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605congregationעֲדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־'a.Dat be.nei-H5712 H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478grumbledוַיִּלֹּ֜נוּvai.yi.Lo.nuH3885againstעַל־'al-H5921Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה וְעַֽל־mo.Sheh ve.'al-H4872 H5921and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Youאַתֶּ֥ם'a.TemH859have killedהֲמִתֶּ֖םha.mi.TemH4191אֶת־'et-H853the LORD’sיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971!”

42Butוַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961when the congregationהָֽעֵדָה֙ha.'e.DahH5712gatheredבְּהִקָּהֵ֤לbe.hi.ka.HelH6950against themעַל־'al-H5921,Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣ה וְעַֽל־mo.Sheh ve.'al-H4872 H5921and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175turnedוַיִּפְנוּ֙vai.yif.NuH6437towardאֶל־'el-H413the Tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֔ד וְהִנֵּ֥הmo.'Ed ve.hi.NehH4150 H2009,and suddenly the cloudהֶעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051covered itכִסָּ֖הוּkhi.Sa.huH3680and the gloryכְּב֥וֹדke.VodH3519of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068appearedוַיֵּרָ֖אvai.ye.Ra'H7200.

43Then Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872and Aaronוְאַהֲרֹ֔ןve.'a.ha.RonH175wentוַיָּבֹ֤אvai.ya.Vo'H935toאֶל־'el-H413the frontפְּנֵ֖יpe.NeiH6440of the Tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵֽד׃ פmo.'EdH4150,

44and the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃mo.Sheh le.MorH4872 H559,

45“Get awayהֵרֹ֗מּוּhe.Ro.muH7426fromמִתּוֹךְ֙mi.toKhH8432thisהַזֹּ֔אתha.ZotH2063congregationהָעֵדָ֣הha.'e.DahH5712so that I may consumeוַאֲכַלֶּ֥הva.'a.kha.LehH3615themאֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853in an instantכְּרָ֑גַעke.Ra.ga'H7281.”And Moses and Aaron fellוַֽיִּפְּל֖וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307facedownעַל־ פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃'al- pe.nei.HemH5921 H6440.

46Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶֽל־'el-H413Aaronאַהֲרֹ֗ן'a.ha.RonH175, “Takeקַ֣חkachH3947אֶת־'et-H853your censerהַ֠מַּחְתָּהHa.mach.tahH4289,placeוְתֶן־ve.ten-H5414fireאֵ֜שׁ'eshH784fromעָלֶ֨יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ וְשִׂ֣יםha.miz.Be.ach ve.SimH4196 H7760in itמֵעַ֤לme.'AlH5921,and add incenseקְטֹ֔רֶתke.To.retH7004.Goוְהוֹלֵ֧ךְve.ho.LekhH1980quicklyמְהֵרָ֛הme.he.RahH4120toאֶל־'el-H413the congregationהָעֵדָ֖הha.'e.DahH5712and make atonementוְכַפֵּ֣רve.kha.PerH3722for themעֲלֵיהֶ֑ם'a.lei.HemH5921,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588wrathהַקֶּ֛צֶףha.Ke.tzefH7110has comeיָצָ֥אya.Tza'H3318out fromמִלִּפְנֵ֥יmi.lif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068;the plagueהַנָּֽגֶף׃ha.Na.gefH5063has begunהֵחֵ֥לhe.ChelH2490.”

47So Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947the censerasכַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ka.'a.SherH834Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872had orderedדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696and ranוַיָּ֙רָץ֙vai.Ya.rotzH7323intoאֶל־'el-H413the midstתּ֣וֹךTokhH8432of the assemblyהַקָּהָ֔ל וְהִנֵּ֛הha.ka.Hal ve.hi.NehH6951 H2009.And seeing that the plagueהַנֶּ֖גֶףha.Ne.gefH5063had begunהֵחֵ֥לhe.ChelH2490among the peopleבָּעָ֑ם וַיִּתֵּן֙ba.'Am vai.yi.TenH5971 H5414אֶֽת־'et-H853,he offered the incenseהַקְּטֹ֔רֶתha.ke.To.retH7004and made atonementוַיְכַפֵּ֖רvay.kha.PerH3722forעַל־'al-H5921the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

48He stoodוַיַּעֲמֹ֥דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975betweenH996the livingהַֽחַיִּ֑יםha.chai.YimH2416and the deadהַמֵּתִ֖יםha.me.TimH4191,and the plagueהַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃ha.ma.ge.FahH4046was haltedוַתֵּעָצַ֖רva.te.'a.TzarH6113.

49וַיִּהְי֗וּvai.yih.YuH1961But those who diedהַמֵּתִים֙ha.me.TimH4191from the plagueבַּמַּגֵּפָ֔הba.ma.ge.FahH4046numbered 14,700אַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר אֶ֖לֶף וּשְׁבַ֣ע מֵא֑וֹת'ar.ba.'Ah 'a.Sar 'E.lef u.she.Va' me.'otH702 H6240 H505 H7651 H3967,in addition toמִלְּבַ֥דmi.le.VadH905those who had diedהַמֵּתִ֖יםha.me.TimH4191onעַל־'al-H5921accountדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of Korahקֹֽרַח׃Ko.rachH7141.

50Then Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175returnedוַיָּ֤שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872atאֶל־'el-H413the entranceפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607to the Tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,since the plagueוְהַמַּגֵּפָ֖הve.ham.ma.ge.FahH4046had been haltedנֶעֱצָֽרָה׃ פne.'e.Tza.rahH6113.
