6The priestהַכֹּהֵ֤ןha.ko.HenH3548אֶת־'et-H853will then splatterוְזָרַ֨קve.za.RakH2236the bloodהַדָּם֙ha.DamH1818onעַל־'al-H5921the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068at the entranceפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607to the Tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150and burnוְהִקְטִ֣ירve.hik.TirH6999the fatהַחֵ֔לֶבha.Che.levH2459as a pleasingנִיחֹ֖חַni.Cho.achH5207aromaלְרֵ֥יחַle.Rei.achH7381to the LORDלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

10If anyoneH376fromוּמִן־u.min-H4480the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478or a foreignerהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616livingהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481among themבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834eatsיֹאכַ֖לyo.KhalH398anyכָּל־kol-H3605bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,I will setוְנָתַתִּ֣יve.na.ta.TiH5414My faceפָנַ֗יfa.NaiH6440against that personבַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ba.Ne.feshH5315הָאֹכֶ֣לֶתha.'o.Khe.letH398אֶת־'et-H853הַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818and cut him offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772אֹתָ֖הּ'o.TahH853from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130his peopleעַמָּֽהּ׃'a.MahH5971.

11Forכִּ֣יkiH3588the lifeנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of the fleshהַבָּשָׂר֮ha.ba.SarH1320is in the bloodבַּדָּ֣םba.DamH1818,and Iוַאֲנִ֞יva.'a.NiH589have givenנְתַתִּ֤יוne.ta.TivH5414itהִוא֒hi'H1931to youto make atonementלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722forעַל־'al-H5921your soulsנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑םnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315uponעַל־'al-H5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196;forכִּֽי־ki-H3588itה֖וּאhu'H1931isthe bloodהַדָּ֥םha.DamH1818thatmakes atonementיְכַפֵּֽר׃ye.kha.PerH3722for the soulבַּנֶּ֥פֶשׁba.Ne.feshH5315.

12Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֤ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I sayאָמַ֙רְתִּי֙'a.Mar.tiH559to the Israelitesלִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לliv.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478, ‘Noneכָּל־ נֶ֥פֶשׁ לֹא־kol- Ne.fesh lo'-H3605 H5315 H3808of youmay eatתֹ֣אכַלTo.khalH398bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,nor mayלֹא־lo'-H3808any foreignerוְהַגֵּ֛רve.ha.GerH1616livingהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481among youבְּתוֹכְכֶ֖םbe.tokh.KhemH8432eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398bloodדָּֽם׃ סDamH1818.’

13And if anyH376Israeliteמִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּמִן־mi.be.Nei Yis.ra.'El u.min-H1121 H3478 H4480or foreignerהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616livingהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481among themבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834hunts downיָצ֜וּדya.TzudH6679a wildחַיָּ֛הchai.YahH2416animalצֵ֥ידtzeidH6718orאוֹ־'ov-H176birdע֖וֹףofH5775thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834may be eatenיֵאָכֵ֑לye.'a.KhelH398,he must drainוְשָׁפַךְ֙ve.sha.faKhH8210אֶת־'et-H853its bloodדָּמ֔וֹda.MoH1818and coverוְכִסָּ֖הוּve.khi.Sa.huH3680it with dirtבֶּעָפָֽר׃be.'a.FarH6083.

15And anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605personנֶ֗פֶשׁNe.feshH5315,whether nativeבָּאֶזְרָ֖חba.'ez.RachH249or foreignerוּבַגֵּ֑רu.va.GerH1616,whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834eatsתֹּאכַ֤לto.KhalH398anything found deadנְבֵלָה֙ne.ve.LahH5038or mauled by wild beastsוּטְרֵפָ֔הu.te.re.FahH2966must washוְכִבֶּ֨סve.khi.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֜יוbe.ga.DavH899and batheוְרָחַ֥ץve.ra.ChatzH7364with waterבַּמַּ֛יִםba.Ma.yimH4325,and he will be uncleanוְטָמֵ֥אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעֶ֖רֶבha.'E.revH6153;then he will be cleanוְטָהֵֽר׃ve.ta.HerH2891.

16But ifוְאִם֙ve.'ImH518he does notלֹ֣אlo'H3808washיְכַבֵּ֔סye.kha.BesH3526his clothes and batheיִרְחָ֑ץyir.ChatzH7364himselfוּבְשָׂר֖וֹ לֹ֣אu.ve.sa.Ro lo'H1320 H3808,then he shall bearוְנָשָׂ֖אve.na.Sa'H5375his iniquityעֲוֹנֽוֹ׃ פa.vo.NoH5771.”
