4אֶת־'et-H853You are to practiceתַּעֲשׂ֛וּta.'a.SuH6213וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853My judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֧יmish.pa.TaiH4941and keepתִּשְׁמְר֖וּtish.me.RuH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַ֥יchu.ko.TaiH2708by walkingלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980in them.Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.
5Keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤םu.she.mar.TemH8104אֶת־'et-H853My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853My judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֔יmish.pa.TaiH4941, forאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the manהָאָדָ֖םha.'a.DamH120who does these thingsיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213אֹתָ֛ם'o.TamH853will liveוָחַ֣יva.ChaiH2421by them.Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
7You must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808expose the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your fatherאָבִ֛יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1וְעֶרְוַ֥תve.'er.VatH6172by having sexual relations withתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540your motherאִמְּךָ֖'i.me.KhaH517.Sheהִ֔ואhi'H1931is your motherאִמְּךָ֣'i.me.KhaH517;you must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808have sexual relations with herתְגַלֶּ֖ה עֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ סte.ga.Leh 'er.va.TahH1540H6172.
9You must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808have sexual relations withעֶרְוַ֨ת תְגַלֶּ֖ה'er.Vat te.ga.LehH1540H6172עֶרְוָתָֽן׃ ס'er.va.TanH6172your sisterאֲחֽוֹתְךָ֤'a.chot.KhaH269,either your father’sאָבִ֙יךָ֙'a.Vi.khaH1daughterבַת־vat-H1323orא֣וֹ בַת־'o vat-H176H1323your mother’s daughterאִמֶּ֔ךָ'i.Me.khaH517,whether she was bornמוֹלֶ֣דֶתmo.Le.detH4138in the same homeבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004orא֖וֹ'oH176מוֹלֶ֣דֶתmo.Le.detH4138elsewhereח֑וּץChutzH2351.
10You must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808have sexual relations withעֶרְוַ֤ת תְגַלֶּ֖ה'er.Vat te.ga.LehH1540H6172עֶרְוָתָ֑ן'er.va.TanH6172your son’sבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121daughterבַּת־bat-H1323orא֣וֹ'oH176your daughter’sבַֽת־vat-H1323daughterבִּתְּךָ֔bi.te.KhaH1323,forכִּ֥יkiH3588thatהֵֽנָּה׃ סHe.nahH2007would shame your familyעֶרְוָתְךָ֖'er.va.te.KhaH6172.
14You must not dishonorלֹ֣אlo'H3808your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1brotherאֲחִֽי־'a.chi-H251by approachingתִקְרָ֔בtik.RavH7126אֶל־'el-H413לֹ֣אlo'H3808his wifeאִשְׁתּוֹ֙'ish.ToH802to have sexual relations with herעֶרְוַ֥ת תְגַלֵּ֑ה'er.Vat te.ga.LehH1540H6172;sheהִֽוא׃ סhi'H1931isyour auntדֹּדָֽתְךָ֖do.da.te.KhaH1733.
15You must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808have sexual relations withעֶרְוַ֥ת תְגַלֵּ֑ה'er.Vat te.ga.LehH6172H1540your daughter-in-lawכַּלָּֽתְךָ֖ka.la.te.KhaH3618.Sheהִ֔ואhi'H1931is your son’sבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121wifeאֵ֤שֶׁת'E.shetH802;you are notלֹ֥אlo'H3808to have sexual relations with herתְגַלֶּ֖ה עֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ סte.ga.Leh 'er.va.TahH1540H6172.
17You must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808have sexual relations with bothעֶרְוַ֥ת תְגַלֵּ֑ה'er.Vat te.ga.LehH6172H1540אֶֽת־'et-H853a womanאִשָּׁ֛ה'i.ShahH802and her daughterוּבִתָּ֖הּu.vi.TahH1323.You are notלֹ֤אlo'H3808to marryתִקַּח֙ti.KachH3947her son’sבְּנָ֞הּbe.NahH1121וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853daughterבַּת־bat-H1323or her daughter’sבַּת־bat-H1323daughterבִּתָּ֗הּbi.TahH1323and have sexual relations with herלְגַלּ֣וֹת עֶרְוָתָ֔הּle.ga.Lot 'er.va.TahH1540H6172.Theyהֵ֖נָּהHe.nahH2007are close relativesשַׁאֲרָ֥הsha.'a.RahH7608;itהִֽואhi'H1931is depravedזִמָּ֥הzi.MahH2154.
18You must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808takeתִקָּ֑חti.KachH3947your wife’sוְאִשָּׁ֥הve.'i.ShahH802אֶל־'el-H413sisterאֲחֹתָ֖הּ'a.cho.TahH269as a rival wifeלִצְרֹ֗רlitz.RorH6887and have sexual relations with herלְגַלּ֧וֹת עֶרְוָתָ֛הּle.ga.Lot 'er.va.TahH1540H6172עָלֶ֖יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921while your wife is still aliveבְּחַיֶּֽיהָ׃be.chai.Yei.haH2416.
21You must notלֹא־lo'-H3808giveתִתֵּ֖ןti.TenH5414any of your childrenוּמִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֥u.mi.zar.'a.KhaH2233to be sacrificedלְהַעֲבִ֣ירle.ha.'a.VirH5674to Molechלַמֹּ֑לֶךְla.Mo.lekhH4432,for you must notוְלֹ֧אve.Lo'H3808profaneתְחַלֵּ֛לte.cha.LelH2490אֶת־'et-H853the nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
23You must notלֹא־lo'-H3808lieתִתֵּ֥ןti.TenH5414carnallyשְׁכָבְתְּךָ֖she.kha.ve.te.KhaH7903with anyוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605animalבְּהֵמָ֛הbe.he.MahH929,thus defiling yourselfלְטָמְאָה־le.ta.me.'ah-H2930with it;a womanוְאִשָּׁ֗הve.'i.ShahH802must notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808standתַעֲמֹ֞דta.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֧יlif.NeiH6440an animalבְהֵמָ֛הve.he.MahH929to mate with itלְרִבְעָ֖הּle.riv.'AhH7250;thatהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931is a perversionתֶּ֥בֶלTe.velH8397.
24Do notאַל־'al-H408defileתִּֽטַּמְּא֖וּti.ta.me.'UH2930yourselves by anyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605of these practicesאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428,forכִּ֤יkiH3588by allבְכָל־ve.khol-H3605these thingsאֵ֙לֶּה֙'e.lehH428the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am driving outמְשַׁלֵּ֖חַme.sha.Le.achH7971before youמִפְּנֵיכֶֽם׃mi.pe.nei.KhemH6440have defiled themselvesנִטְמְא֣וּnit.me.'UH2930.
25Even the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776has become defiledוַתִּטְמָ֣אva.tit.Ma'H2930,so I am punishing itוָאֶפְקֹ֥דva.'ef.KodH6485for its sinעֲוֹנָ֖הּ'a.vo.NahH5771,and the landעָלֶ֑יהָ הָאָ֖רֶץ'a.Lei.ha ha.'A.retzH776H5921will vomit outוַתָּקִ֥אva.ta.Ki'H6958itsאֶת־'et-H853inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃yo.she.Vei.haH3427.
26But youאַתֶּ֗ם'a.TemH859אֶת־'et-H853are to keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣םu.she.mar.TemH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֔יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and you must notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808commitתַעֲשׂ֔וּta.'a.SuH6213anyמִכֹּ֥לmi.KolH3605of theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428abominationsהַתּוֹעֵבֹ֖תha.to.'e.VotH8441—neither your native-bornהָֽאֶזְרָ֔חha.'ez.RachH249nor the foreignerוְהַגֵּ֖רve.ha.GerH1616who livesהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481among youבְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃be.tokh.KhemH8432.
27Forכִּ֚יkiH3588אֶת־'et-H853the menאַנְשֵֽׁי־'an.shei-H582who were in the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834before youלִפְנֵיכֶ֑םlif.nei.KhemH6440committedעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֔לha.'ElH411abominationsהַתּוֹעֵבֹ֣תha.to.'e.VotH8441,and the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776has become defiledוַתִּטְמָ֖אva.tit.Ma'H2930.
28So if you defileבְּטַֽמַּאֲכֶ֖םbe.ta.ma.'a.KhemH2930אֶתְכֶ֔ם'et.KhemH853the landוְלֹֽא־ הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ve.lo'- ha.'A.retzH776H3808,it will vomit you outתָקִ֤יאta.Ki'H6958אֹתָ֑הּ'o.TahH853asכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834it spewed outקָאָ֛הka.'AhH6958אֶת־'et-H853the nationsהַגּ֖וֹיha.GoyH1471אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834before youלִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃lif.nei.KhemH6440.
29Thereforeכִּ֚יkiH3588anyoneכָּל־kol-H3605whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834commitsיַעֲשֶׂ֔הya.'a.SehH6213anyמִכֹּ֥לmi.KolH3605of theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428abominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441must be cut offוְנִכְרְת֛וּ הַנְּפָשׁ֥וֹת הָעֹשֹׂ֖תve.nikh.re.Tu ha.ne.fa.Shot ha.'o.SotH3772H5315H6213from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130his peopleעַמָּֽם׃'a.MamH5971.
30You must keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣םu.she.mar.TemH8104אֶת־'et-H853My chargeמִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗יmish.mar.TiH4931notלְבִלְתִּ֨יle.vil.TiH1115to practiceעֲשׂ֜וֹתa.SotH6213anyof the abominableהַתּֽוֹעֵבֹת֙ha.to.'e.VotH8441customsמֵחֻקּ֤וֹתme.chu.KotH2708thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834were practicedנַעֲשׂ֣וּna.'a.SuH6213before youלִפְנֵיכֶ֔םlif.nei.KhemH6440,so that you do notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808defile yourselvesתִֽטַּמְּא֖וּti.ta.me.'UH2930by them.Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ פ'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.”
