2Speakדַּבֵּ֨רda.BerH1696unto Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175,and unto his sonsבָּנָ֗יוba.NavH1121,and unto all the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֖ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto them; This isthe thingהַדָּבָ֔רha.da.VarH1697which Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

3Whatאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376manאִישׁ֙'ishH376soever there beof the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,that killethיִשְׁחַ֜טyish.ChatH7819an oxשׁ֥וֹרShorH7794,or lambכֶ֛שֶׂבKhe.sevH3775,or goatעֵ֖ז'ezH5795,in the campבַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑הba.ma.cha.NehH4264,or that killethיִשְׁחַ֔טyish.ChatH7819itoutמִח֖וּץmi.ChutzH2351of the campלַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃La.ma.cha.NehH4264,

4And bringethהֱבִיאוֹ֒he.vi.'OH935it not unto the doorפֶּ֜תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵד֮mo.'EdH4150,to offerלְהַקְרִ֤יבle.hak.RivH7126an offeringקָרְבָּן֙kor.banH7133unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the tabernacleמִשְׁכַּ֣ןmish.KanH4908of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;bloodדָּ֣םdamH1818shall be imputedיֵחָשֵׁ֞בye.cha.ShevH2803unto that manלָאִ֤ישׁla.'IshH376;he hath shedשָׁפָ֔ךְsha.FakhH8210bloodדָּ֣םdamH1818;and that manהָאִ֥ישׁha.'IshH376shall be cut offוְנִכְרַ֛תve.nikh.RatH3772from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130his peopleעַמּֽוֹ׃a.MoH5971:

5To the end that the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478may bringיָבִ֜יאוּya.Vi.'uH935their sacrificesזִבְחֵיהֶם֮ziv.chei.HemH2077,which they offerזֹבְחִים֮zoe.ChimH2076in the openפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440fieldהַשָּׂדֶה֒ha.sa.DehH7704,even that they may bringוֶֽהֱבִיאֻ֣םve.he.vi.'UmH935them unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֗הla.Yah.wehH3068,unto the doorפֶּ֛תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150,unto the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548,and offerוְזָ֨בְח֜וּve.Za.ve.ChuH2076them forpeaceשְׁלָמִ֛יםshe.la.MimH8002offeringsזִבְחֵ֧יziv.CheiH2077unto Yhwhלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068.

6And the priestהַכֹּהֵ֤ןha.ko.HenH3548shall sprinkleוְזָרַ֨קve.za.RakH2236the bloodהַדָּם֙ha.DamH1818upon the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068atthe doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,and burnוְהִקְטִ֣ירve.hik.TirH6999the fatהַחֵ֔לֶבha.Che.levH2459for a sweetנִיחֹ֖חַni.Cho.achH5207savourלְרֵ֥יחַle.Rei.achH7381unto Yhwhלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

7And they shall no more offerיִזְבְּח֥וּyiz.be.ChuH2076their sacrificesזִבְחֵיהֶ֔םziv.chei.HemH2077unto devilsלַשְּׂעִירִ֕םla.se.'i.RimH8163,afterאַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם'a.cha.rei.HemH310whom they have gone a whoringזֹנִ֖יםzo.NimH2181.This shall be a statuteחֻקַּ֥תchu.KatH2708for everעוֹלָ֛םo.LamH5769unto them throughout their generationsלְדֹרֹתָֽם׃le.do.ro.TamH1755.

8And thou shalt sayתֹּאמַ֔רto.MarH559unto them, Whatsoever manH376there beof the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or of the strangersהַגֵּ֖רha.GerH1616which sojournיָג֣וּרya.GurH1481amongבְּתוֹכָ֑םbe.to.KhamH8432you, that offerethיַעֲלֶ֥הya.'a.LehH5927a burnt offeringעֹלָ֖ה'o.LahH5930or sacrificeזָֽבַח׃Za.vachH2077,

9And bringethיְבִיאֶ֔נּוּye.vi.'E.nuH935it not unto the doorפֶּ֜תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֤הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵד֙mo.'EdH4150,to offerלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213it unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068;even that manהָאִ֥ישׁha.'IshH376shall be cut offוְנִכְרַ֛תve.nikh.RatH3772from among his peopleמֵעַמָּֽיו׃me.'a.MavH5971.

10And whatsoever manH376there beof the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or of the strangersהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616that sojournהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432you, that eatethיֹאכַ֖לyo.KhalH398any manner of bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818;I will even setוְנָתַתִּ֣יve.na.ta.TiH5414my faceפָנַ֗יfa.NaiH6440against that soulבַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ba.Ne.feshH5315that eatethהָאֹכֶ֣לֶתha.'o.Khe.letH398bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818,and will cut him offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130his peopleעַמָּֽהּ׃'a.MahH5971.

11For the lifeנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of the fleshהַבָּשָׂר֮ha.ba.SarH1320isin the bloodבַּדָּ֣םba.DamH1818:and I have givenנְתַתִּ֤יוne.ta.TivH5414it to you upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196to make an atonementלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722for your soulsנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑םnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315: for it isthe bloodהַדָּ֥םha.DamH1818thatmaketh an atonementיְכַפֵּֽר׃ye.kha.PerH3722for the soulבַּנֶּ֥פֶשׁba.Ne.feshH5315.

12Therefore I saidאָמַ֙רְתִּי֙'a.Mar.tiH559unto the childrenלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,No soulנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of you shall eatתֹ֣אכַלTo.khalH398bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,neither shall any strangerוְהַגֵּ֛רve.ha.GerH1616that sojournethהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכְכֶ֖םbe.tokh.KhemH8432you eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398bloodדָּֽם׃ סDamH1818.

13And whatsoever manH376there beof the childrenמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or of the strangersהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616that sojournהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432you, which huntethיָצ֜וּדya.TzudH6679and catchethצֵ֥ידtzeidH6718any beastחַיָּ֛הchai.YahH2416or fowlע֖וֹףofH5775that may be eatenיֵאָכֵ֑לye.'a.KhelH398;he shall even pourוְשָׁפַךְ֙ve.sha.faKhH8210out the bloodדָּמ֔וֹda.MoH1818thereof, and coverוְכִסָּ֖הוּve.khi.Sa.huH3680it with dustבֶּעָפָֽר׃be.'a.FarH6083.

14For it isthe lifeנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of all fleshבָּשָׂ֗רba.SarH1320;the bloodדָּמ֣וֹda.MoH1818of it isfor the lifeבְנַפְשׁוֹ֮ve.naf.ShoH5315thereof: therefore I saidוָֽאֹמַר֙va.'o.MarH559unto the childrenלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,Ye shall eatתֹאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398the bloodדַּ֥םdamH1818of no manner of fleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320:for the lifeנֶ֤פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of all fleshבָּשָׂר֙ba.SarH1320isthe bloodדָּמ֣וֹda.MoH1818thereof: whosoever eatethאֹכְלָ֖יו'o.khe.LavH398it shall be cut offיִכָּרֵֽת׃yi.ka.RetH3772.

15And every soulנֶ֗פֶשׁNe.feshH5315that eatethתֹּאכַ֤לto.KhalH398that which diedנְבֵלָה֙ne.ve.LahH5038of itself,or that which was tornוּטְרֵפָ֔הu.te.re.FahH2966with beasts, whether it beone of your own countryבָּאֶזְרָ֖חba.'ez.RachH249,or a strangerוּבַגֵּ֑רu.va.GerH1616,he shall both washוְכִבֶּ֨סve.khi.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֜יוbe.ga.DavH899,and batheוְרָחַ֥ץve.ra.ChatzH7364himselfin waterבַּמַּ֛יִםba.Ma.yimH4325,and be uncleanוְטָמֵ֥אve.ta.Me'H2930until the evenהָעֶ֖רֶבha.'E.revH6153:then shall he be cleanוְטָהֵֽר׃ve.ta.HerH2891.

16But if he washיְכַבֵּ֔סye.kha.BesH3526themnot, nor batheיִרְחָ֑ץyir.ChatzH7364his fleshוּבְשָׂר֖וֹu.ve.sa.RoH1320;then he shall bearוְנָשָׂ֖אve.na.Sa'H5375his iniquityעֲוֹנֽוֹ׃ פa.vo.NoH5771.
