5Andוּמֵאֵ֗תu.me.'EtH854he shall takeיִקַּ֛חyi.KachH3947from the congregationעֲדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י'a.Dat be.NeiH5712 H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147male goatsשְׂעִירֵ֥י עִזִּ֖יםse.'i.Rei 'i.ZimH8163 H5795for a sin offeringלְחַטָּ֑אתle.cha.TatH2403and oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259ramוְאַ֥יִלve.'A.yilH352for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930.

6Aaronאַהֲרֹ֛ן'a.ha.RonH175אֶת־'et-H853is to presentוְהִקְרִ֧יבve.hik.RivH7126the bullפַּ֥רparH6499for his sin offeringהַחַטָּ֖אתha.cha.TatH2403אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834and make atonementוְכִפֶּ֥רve.khi.PerH3722forבַּעֲד֖וֹba.'a.DoH1157himselfוּבְעַ֥דu.ve.'AdH1157and his householdבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.

8After Aaronאַהֲרֹ֛ן'a.ha.RonH175castsוְנָתַ֧ןve.na.TanH5414lotsגּוֹרָל֑וֹתgo.ra.LotH1486forעַל־'al-H5921the twoשְׁנֵ֥יshe.NeiH8147goatsהַשְּׂעִירִ֖םha.se.'i.RimH8163,oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259גּוֹרָ֤לgo.RalH1486for the LORDלַיהוָ֔ה וְגוֹרָ֥לla.Yah.weh ve.go.RalH3068 H1486and the otherאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259for the scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵֽל׃la.'a.za.ZelH5799,

9heאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175אֶת־'et-H853shall presentוְהִקְרִ֤יבve.hik.RivH7126the goatהַשָּׂעִ֔ירha.sa.'IrH8163אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834chosenעָלָ֥ה עָלָ֛יו'a.Lah 'a.LavH5927 H5921by lotהַגּוֹרָ֖לha.go.RalH1486for the LORDלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068and sacrificeוְעָשָׂ֖הוּve.'a.Sa.huH6213it as a sin offeringחַטָּֽאת׃cha.TatH2403.

10But the goatוְהַשָּׂעִ֗ירve.ha.sa.'IrH8163אֲשֶׁר֩'a.SherH834chosenעָלָ֨ה'a.LahH5927byעָלָ֤יו'a.LavH5921lotהַגּוֹרָל֙ha.go.RalH1486as the scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵ֔לla.'a.za.ZelH5799shall be presentedיָֽעֳמַד־yo.'o.mad-H5975aliveחַ֛יchaiH2416beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068to make atonementלְכַפֵּ֣ר עָלָ֑יוle.kha.Per 'a.LavH3722 H5921by sendingלְשַׁלַּ֥חle.sha.LachH7971אֹת֛וֹ'o.ToH853it into the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃ha.mid.Ba.rahH4057as the scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵ֖לla.'a.za.ZelH5799.

11When Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175אֶת־'et-H853presentsוְהִקְרִ֨יבve.hik.RivH7126the bullפַּ֤רparH6499for his sin offeringהַֽחַטָּאת֙ha.cha.taTH2403אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834and makes atonementוְכִפֶּ֥רve.khi.PerH3722for himselfH1157and his householdבֵּית֑וֹbei.ToH1004,he is to slaughterוְשָׁחַ֛טve.sha.ChatH7819אֶת־'et-H853the bullפַּ֥רparH6499for his own sin offeringהַֽחַטָּ֖אתha.cha.TatH2403אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834.

13He is to putוְנָתַ֧ןve.na.TanH5414אֶֽת־'et-H853the incenseהַקְּטֹ֛רֶתha.ke.To.retH7004onעַל־'al-H5921the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and the cloudעֲנַ֣ן'a.NanH6051of incenseהַקְּטֹ֗רֶתha.ke.To.retH7004אֶת־'et-H853will coverוְכִסָּ֣ה׀ve.khi.SahH3680the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֛רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834aboveעַל־'al-H5921the Testimonyהָעֵד֖וּתha.'e.DutH5715,so that he will notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808dieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.

14And he is to takeוְלָקַח֙ve.la.KachH3947some of the bull’sהַפָּ֔רha.ParH6499bloodמִדַּ֣םmi.DamH1818and sprinkleוְהִזָּ֧הve.hi.ZahH5137it with his fingerבְאֶצְבָּע֛וֹve.'etz.ba.'OH676onעַל־'al-H5921the eastקֵ֑דְמָהKe.de.mahH6924sideפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֖רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727;then he shall sprinkleיַזֶּ֧הya.ZehH5137some ofמִן־min-H4480itהַדָּ֖םha.DamH1818with his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּעֽוֹ׃be.'etz.ba.'OH676sevenשֶֽׁבַע־she.va'-H7651timesפְּעָמִ֛יםpe.'a.MimH6471beforeוְלִפְנֵ֣יve.lif.NeiH6440the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֗רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727.

15Aaronshall then slaughterוְשָׁחַ֞טve.sha.ChatH7819אֶת־'et-H853the goatשְׂעִ֤ירse.'IrH8163for the sin offeringהַֽחַטָּאת֙ha.cha.taTH2403אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834for the peopleלָעָ֔םla.'AmH5971and bringוְהֵבִיא֙ve.he.Vi'H935אֶת־'et-H853its bloodדָּמ֔וֹ אֶל־da.Mo 'el-H1818 H413behindמִבֵּ֖יתmi.BeitH1004the veilלַפָּרֹ֑כֶת אֶת־la.pa.Ro.khet 'et-H6532 H854,and with its bloodדָּמ֗וֹda.MoH1818he must doוְעָשָׂ֣הve.'a.SahH6213asכַּאֲשֶׁ֤רka.'a.SherH834he didעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213with the bull’sהַפָּ֔רha.ParH6499bloodלְדַ֣םle.DamH1818:He is to sprinkleוְהִזָּ֥הve.hi.ZahH5137אֹת֛וֹ'o.ToH853it againstעַל־'al-H5921the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֖רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727and in frontוְלִפְנֵ֥יve.lif.NeiH6440of itהַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ha.ka.Po.retH3727.

16So he shall make atonementוְכִפֶּ֣רve.khi.PerH3722forעַל־'al-H5921the Most Holy Placeהַקֹּ֗דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944because of the impuritiesמִטֻּמְאֹת֙mi.tum.'OtH2932and rebellious actsוּמִפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖םu.mi.pish.'ei.HemH6588of the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478in regard to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605their sinsחַטֹּאתָ֑םcha.to.TamH2403.He is to doיַעֲשֶׂה֙ya.'a.SehH6213the sameוְכֵ֤ןve.KhenH3651for the Tentלְאֹ֣הֶלle.'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150which abidesהַשֹּׁכֵ֣ןha.sho.KhenH7931among themאִתָּ֔ם'i.TamH854in the midstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of their impuritiesטֻמְאֹתָֽם׃tum.'o.TamH2932.

17Noוְכָל־ לֹא־ve.khol lo'-H3605 H3808oneאָדָ֞ם'a.DamH120may beיִהְיֶ֣ה׀yih.YehH1961in the Tentבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֗דmo.'EdH4150from the time Aaron goes inבְּבֹא֛וֹbe.vo.'OH935to make atonementלְכַפֵּ֥רle.kha.PerH3722in the Most Holy Placeבַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁba.Ko.deshH6944untilעַד־'ad-H5704he leavesצֵאת֑וֹtze.ToH3318,after he has made atonementוְכִפֶּ֤רve.khi.PerH3722for himselfH1157,his householdבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004 H1157,and the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605assemblyקְהַ֥לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

18Then he shall go outוְיָצָ֗אve.ya.Tza'H3318toאֶל־'el-H413the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַha.miz.Be.achH4196thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is beforeלִפְנֵֽי־lif.nei-H6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068and make atonementוְכִפֶּ֣רve.khi.PerH3722for itעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921.He is to takeוְלָקַ֞חve.la.KachH3947some of the bull’sהַפָּר֙ha.ParH6499bloodמִדַּ֤םmi.DamH1818and some of the goat’sהַשָּׂעִ֔ירha.sa.'IrH8163bloodוּמִדַּ֣םu.mi.DamH1818and put itוְנָתַ֛ןve.na.TanH5414onעַל־'al-H5921allסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439the hornsקַרְנ֥וֹתkar.NotH7161of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196.

19He is to sprinkleוְהִזָּ֨הve.hi.ZahH5137some ofמִן־min-H4480the bloodהַדָּ֛םha.DamH1818on itעָלָ֧יו'a.LavH5921with his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּע֖וֹbe.'etz.ba.'OH676sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֑יםpe.'a.MimH6471to cleanse itוְטִהֲר֣וֹve.ti.ha.RoH2891and consecrate itוְקִדְּשׁ֔וֹve.ki.de.ShoH6942from the uncleannessמִטֻּמְאֹ֖תmi.tum.'OtH2932of the Israelitesבְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478.

20When Aaron has finishedוְכִלָּה֙ve.khi.LahH3615purifyingמִכַּפֵּ֣רmi.ka.PerH3722אֶת־'et-H853the Most Holy Placeהַקֹּ֔דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,the Tentאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,and the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,he is to bring forwardוְהִקְרִ֖יבve.hik.RivH7126אֶת־'et-H853the liveהֶחָֽי׃he.ChaiH2416goatהַשָּׂעִ֥ירha.sa.'IrH8163.

22The goatהַשָּׂעִ֥ירha.sa.'IrH8163will carryוְנָשָׂ֨אve.na.Sa'H5375onעָלָ֛יו'a.LavH5921itselfאֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605their iniquitiesעֲוֹנֹתָ֖ם'a.vo.no.TamH5771intoאֶל־'el-H413a solitaryגְּזֵרָ֑הge.ze.RahH1509placeאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776,and the man will releaseוְשִׁלַּ֥חve.shi.LachH7971אֶת־'et-H853itהַשָּׂעִ֖ירha.sa.'IrH8163into the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ba.mid.BarH4057.

23Then Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175is to enterוּבָ֤א אֶל־u.Va' 'el-H935 H413the Tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,take offוּפָשַׁט֙u.fa.ShatH6584אֶת־'et-H853the linenהַבָּ֔דha.BadH906אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834garmentsבִּגְדֵ֣יbig.DeiH899he put onלָבַ֖שׁla.VashH3847before enteringבְּבֹא֣וֹ אֶל־be.vo.'O 'el-H935 H413the Most Holy Placeהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944,and leave themוְהִנִּיחָ֖םve.hi.ni.ChamH5117thereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.

24He is to batheוְרָחַ֨ץve.ra.ChatzH7364אֶת־'et-H853himselfבְּשָׂר֤וֹbe.sa.RoH1320with waterבַמַּ֙יִם֙va.Ma.yimH4325in a holyקָד֔וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918placeבְּמָק֣וֹםbe.ma.KomH4725and put onוְלָבַ֖שׁve.la.VashH3847אֶת־'et-H853his own clothesבְּגָדָ֑יוbe.ga.DavH899.Then he must go outוְיָצָ֗אve.ya.Tza'H3318and sacrificeוְעָשָׂ֤הve.'a.SahH6213אֶת־'et-H853his burnt offeringעֹֽלָתוֹ֙o.la.ToH5930וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and the people’sהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971burnt offeringעֹלַ֣ת'o.LatH5930to make atonementוְכִפֶּ֥רve.khi.PerH3722forבַּעֲד֖וֹba.'a.DoH1157himselfוּבְעַ֥דu.ve.'AdH1157and for the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

26The man who releasedוְהַֽמְשַׁלֵּ֤חַve.ham.sha.Le.achH7971אֶת־'et-H853the goatהַשָּׂעִיר֙ha.sa.'IrH8163as the scapegoatלַֽעֲזָאזֵ֔לla.'a.za.ZelH5799must washיְכַבֵּ֣סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֔יוbe.ga.DavH899and batheוְרָחַ֥ץve.ra.ChatzH7364אֶת־'et-H853himselfבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320with waterבַּמָּ֑יִםba.Ma.yimH4325;afterwardוְאַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֖ןve.'a.cha.rei- khenH310 H3651he may reenterיָב֥וֹא אֶל־ya.Vo' 'el-H935 H413the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃Ha.ma.cha.NehH4264.
