3Thusבְּזֹ֛אתbe.ZotH2063shall Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175comeיָבֹ֥אya.Vo'H935into the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place:with a youngבֶּן־ בָּקָ֛רben- ba.KarH1241 H1121bullockבְּפַ֧רbe.FarH6499for a sin offeringלְחַטָּ֖אתle.cha.TatH2403,and a ramוְאַ֥יִלve.'A.yilH352for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930.

4He shall put onיִלְבָּ֗שׁyil.BashH3847the holyקֹ֜דֶשׁKo.deshH6944linenבַּ֨דbadH906coatכְּתֹֽנֶת־ke.to.net-H3801,and he shall have the linenבַד֮vadH906breechesוּמִֽכְנְסֵי־u.mikh.ne.sei-H4370upon his fleshבְּשָׂרוֹ֒be.sa.RoH1320,and shall be girdedיַחְגֹּ֔רyach.GorH2296with a linenבַּד֙badH906girdleוּבְאַבְנֵ֥טu.ve.'av.NetH73,and with the linenבַּ֖דbadH906mitreוּבְמִצְנֶ֥פֶתu.ve.mitz.Ne.fetH4701shall he be attiredיִצְנֹ֑ףyitz.NofH6801:theseהֵ֔םHemH1992areholyקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944garmentsבִּגְדֵי־big.dei-H899;therefore shall he washוְרָחַ֥ץve.ra.ChatzH7364his fleshבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320in waterבַּמַּ֛יִםba.Ma.yimH4325, and soput them onוּלְבֵשָֽׁם׃u.le.ve.ShamH3847.

5And he shall takeיִקַּ֛חyi.KachH3947of the congregationעֲדַת֙'a.DatH5712of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147kidsשְׂעִירֵ֥יse.'i.ReiH8163of the goatsעִזִּ֖ים'i.ZimH5795for a sin offeringלְחַטָּ֑אתle.cha.TatH2403,and oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259ramוְאַ֥יִלve.'A.yilH352for a burnt offeringלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930.

6And Aaronאַהֲרֹ֛ן'a.ha.RonH175shall offerוְהִקְרִ֧יבve.hik.RivH7126his bullockפַּ֥רparH6499of the sin offeringהַחַטָּ֖אתha.cha.TatH2403, which isfor himselfH1157,and make an atonementוְכִפֶּ֥רve.khi.PerH3722for himself, and for his houseבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.

7And he shall takeוְלָקַ֖חve.la.KachH3947the twoשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8147goatsהַשְּׂעִירִ֑םha.se.'i.RimH8163,and presentוְהֶעֱמִ֤ידve.he.'e.MidH5975them beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068atthe doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150.

8And Aaronאַהֲרֹ֛ן'a.ha.RonH175shall castוְנָתַ֧ןve.na.TanH5414lotsגּוֹרָל֑וֹתgo.ra.LotH1486upon the twoשְׁנֵ֥יshe.NeiH8147goatsהַשְּׂעִירִ֖םha.se.'i.RimH8163;oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259lotגּוֹרָ֤לgo.RalH1486for Yhwhלַיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,and the otherאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259lotוְגוֹרָ֥לve.go.RalH1486for the scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵֽל׃la.'a.za.ZelH5799.

9And Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175shall bringוְהִקְרִ֤יבve.hik.RivH7126the goatהַשָּׂעִ֔ירha.sa.'IrH8163upon which Yhwh'sלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068lotהַגּוֹרָ֖לha.go.RalH1486fellעָלָ֥ה'a.LahH5927,and offerוְעָשָׂ֖הוּve.'a.Sa.huH6213him fora sin offeringחַטָּֽאת׃cha.TatH2403.

10But the goatוְהַשָּׂעִ֗ירve.ha.sa.'IrH8163,on which the lotהַגּוֹרָל֙ha.go.RalH1486fellעָלָ֨ה'a.LahH5927to be the scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵ֔לla.'a.za.ZelH5799,shall be presentedיָֽעֳמַד־yo.'o.mad-H5975aliveחַ֛יchaiH2416beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,to make an atonementלְכַפֵּ֣רle.kha.PerH3722with him, andto let him goלְשַׁלַּ֥חle.sha.LachH7971for a scapegoatלַעֲזָאזֵ֖לla.'a.za.ZelH5799into the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃ha.mid.Ba.rahH4057.

14And he shall takeוְלָקַח֙ve.la.KachH3947of the bloodמִדַּ֣םmi.DamH1818of the bullockהַפָּ֔רha.ParH6499,and sprinkleוְהִזָּ֧הve.hi.ZahH5137itwith his fingerבְאֶצְבָּע֛וֹve.'etz.ba.'OH676upon the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֖רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727eastwardקֵ֑דְמָהKe.de.mahH6924;and beforeH6440the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֗רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727shall he sprinkleיַזֶּ֧הya.ZehH5137of the bloodהַדָּ֖םha.DamH1818with his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּעֽוֹ׃be.'etz.ba.'OH676sevenשֶֽׁבַע־she.va'-H7651timesפְּעָמִ֛יםpe.'a.MimH6471.

15Then shall he killוְשָׁחַ֞טve.sha.ChatH7819the goatשְׂעִ֤ירse.'IrH8163of the sin offeringהַֽחַטָּאת֙ha.cha.taTH2403, that isfor the peopleלָעָ֔םla.'AmH5971,and bringוְהֵבִיא֙ve.he.Vi'H935his bloodדָּמ֔וֹda.MoH1818withinמִבֵּ֖יתmi.BeitH1004the vailלַפָּרֹ֑כֶתla.pa.Ro.khetH6532,and doוְעָשָׂ֣הve.'a.SahH6213with that bloodדָּמ֗וֹda.MoH1818as he didעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213with the bloodלְדַ֣םle.DamH1818of the bullockהַפָּ֔רha.ParH6499,and sprinkleוְהִזָּ֥הve.hi.ZahH5137it upon the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּ֖רֶתha.ka.Po.retH3727,and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֥יve.lif.NeiH6440the mercy seatהַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ha.ka.Po.retH3727:

16And he shall make an atonementוְכִפֶּ֣רve.khi.PerH3722for the holyהַקֹּ֗דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place,because of the uncleannessמִטֻּמְאֹת֙mi.tum.'OtH2932of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and because of their transgressionsוּמִפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖םu.mi.pish.'ei.HemH6588in all their sinsחַטֹּאתָ֑םcha.to.TamH2403:and so shall he doיַעֲשֶׂה֙ya.'a.SehH6213for the tabernacleלְאֹ֣הֶלle.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,that remainethהַשֹּׁכֵ֣ןha.sho.KhenH7931among them in the midstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of their uncleannessטֻמְאֹתָֽם׃tum.'o.TamH2932.

17And there shall be no manאָדָ֞ם'a.DamH120in the tabernacleבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֗דmo.'EdH4150when he goethבְּבֹא֛וֹbe.vo.'OH935in to make an atonementלְכַפֵּ֥רle.kha.PerH3722in the holyבַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁba.Ko.deshH6944place,until he come outצֵאת֑וֹtze.ToH3318,and have made an atonementוְכִפֶּ֤רve.khi.PerH3722for himself, and for his householdבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,and for all the congregationקְהַ֥לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

18And he shall go outוְיָצָ֗אve.ya.Tza'H3318unto the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַha.miz.Be.achH4196that isbeforeלִפְנֵֽי־lif.nei-H6440Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and make an atonementוְכִפֶּ֣רve.khi.PerH3722for it; and shall takeוְלָקַ֞חve.la.KachH3947of the bloodמִדַּ֤םmi.DamH1818of the bullockהַפָּר֙ha.ParH6499,and of the bloodוּמִדַּ֣םu.mi.DamH1818of the goatהַשָּׂעִ֔ירha.sa.'IrH8163,and putוְנָתַ֛ןve.na.TanH5414itupon the hornsקַרְנ֥וֹתkar.NotH7161of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196round aboutסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439.

19And he shall sprinkleוְהִזָּ֨הve.hi.ZahH5137of the bloodהַדָּ֛םha.DamH1818upon it with his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּע֖וֹbe.'etz.ba.'OH676sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֑יםpe.'a.MimH6471,and cleanseוְטִהֲר֣וֹve.ti.ha.RoH2891it, and hallowוְקִדְּשׁ֔וֹve.ki.de.ShoH6942it from the uncleannessמִטֻּמְאֹ֖תmi.tum.'OtH2932of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

20And when he hath made an endוְכִלָּה֙ve.khi.LahH3615of reconcilingמִכַּפֵּ֣רmi.ka.PerH3722the holyהַקֹּ֔דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place,and the tabernacleאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150,and the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,he shall bringוְהִקְרִ֖יבve.hik.RivH7126the liveהֶחָֽי׃he.ChaiH2416goatהַשָּׂעִ֥ירha.sa.'IrH8163:

21And Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175shall layוְסָמַ֨ךְve.sa.MakhH5564bothשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147his handsיָדָ֗יוya.dovH3027upon the headרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218of the liveהַחַי֒ha.ChaiH2416goatהַשָּׂעִיר֮ha.sa.'IrH8163,and confessוְהִתְוַדָּ֣הve.hit.va.DahH3034over him all the iniquitiesעֲוֹנֹת֙'a.vo.NotH5771of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and all their transgressionsפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖םpish.'ei.HemH6588in all their sinsחַטֹּאתָ֑םcha.to.TamH2403,puttingוְנָתַ֤ןve.na.TanH5414them upon the headרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218of the goatהַשָּׂעִ֔ירha.sa.'IrH8163, and shall send himawayוְשִׁלַּ֛חve.shi.LachH7971by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of a fitעִתִּ֖י'i.TiH6261manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376into the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃ha.mid.Ba.rahH4057:

22And the goatהַשָּׂעִ֥ירha.sa.'IrH8163shall bearוְנָשָׂ֨אve.na.Sa'H5375upon him all their iniquitiesעֲוֹנֹתָ֖ם'a.vo.no.TamH5771unto a landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776not inhabitedגְּזֵרָ֑הge.ze.RahH1509:and he shall let goוְשִׁלַּ֥חve.shi.LachH7971the goatהַשָּׂעִ֖ירha.sa.'IrH8163in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ba.mid.BarH4057.

23And Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175shall comeוּבָ֤אu.Va'H935into the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,and shall put offוּפָשַׁט֙u.fa.ShatH6584the linenהַבָּ֔דha.BadH906garmentsבִּגְדֵ֣יbig.DeiH899,which he put onלָבַ֖שׁla.VashH3847when he wentבְּבֹא֣וֹbe.vo.'OH935into the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place,and shall leaveH3240them there:

25And the fatחֵ֥לֶבChe.levH2459of the sin offeringהַֽחַטָּ֖אתha.cha.TatH2403shall he burnיַקְטִ֥ירyak.TirH6999upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃ha.miz.Be.chahH4196.

28And he that burnethוְהַשֹּׂרֵ֣ףve.ha.so.RefH8313them shall washיְכַבֵּ֣סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֔יוbe.ga.DavH899,and batheוְרָחַ֥ץve.ra.ChatzH7364his fleshבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320in waterבַּמָּ֑יִםba.Ma.yimH4325,and afterwardוְאַחֲרֵי־ve.'a.cha.rei-H310he shall comeיָב֥וֹאya.Vo'H935into the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃Ha.ma.cha.NehH4264.

29And thisshall be a statuteלְחֻקַּ֣תle.chu.KatH2708for everעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769unto you: thatin the seventhהַ֠שְּׁבִיעִיHa.she.vi.'iH7637monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,on the tenthבֶּֽעָשׂ֨וֹרbe.'a.SorH6218dayof the monthלַחֹ֜דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,ye shall afflictתְּעַנּ֣וּte.'a.NuH6031your soulsנַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֗םnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315,and doתַעֲשׂ֔וּta.'a.SuH6213no workמְלָאכָה֙me.la.KhahH4399at all, whether it beone of your own countryהָֽאֶזְרָ֔חha.'ez.RachH249,or a strangerוְהַגֵּ֖רve.ha.GerH1616that sojournethהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃be.tokh.KhemH8432you:

30For on that dayבַיּ֥וֹםvai.YomH3117shall the priestmake an atonementיְכַפֵּ֥רye.kha.PerH3722for you, to cleanseלְטַהֵ֣רle.ta.HerH2891you, thatye may be cleanתִּטְהָֽרוּ׃tit.Ha.ruH2891from all your sinsחַטֹּ֣אתֵיכֶ֔םcha.To.tei.KhemH2403beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
