1“Now youוְאַתָּ֤הve.'a.TahH859,sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120,takeקַח־kach-H3947a brickלְבֵנָ֔הle.ve.NahH3843,placeוְנָתַתָּ֥הve.na.ta.TahH5414itאוֹתָ֖הּ'o.TahH853before youלְפָנֶ֑יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440,and drawוְחַקּוֹתָ֥ve.cha.ko.TaH2710on itעָלֶ֛יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921the cityעִ֖יר'irH5892אֶת־'et-H853of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

2Then layוְנָתַתָּ֨הve.na.ta.TahH5414siegeמָצ֗וֹרma.TzorH4692against itעָלֶ֜יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921:Constructוּבָנִ֤יתָu.va.Ni.taH1129עָלֶ֙יהָ֙'a.Lei.haH5921a siege wallדָּיֵ֔קda.YekH1785,buildוְשָׁפַכְתָּ֥ve.sha.fakh.TaH8210a rampסֹֽלְלָ֑הso.le.LahH5550to itעָלֶ֖יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921,set upוְנָתַתָּ֨הve.na.ta.TahH5414campsמַחֲנ֛וֹתma.cha.NotH4264against itעָלֶ֧יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921,and placeוְשִׂים־ve.sim-H7760battering ramsכָּרִ֖יםka.RimH3733around itעָלֶ֥יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921on all sidesסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439.

3Thenוְאַתָּ֤הve.'a.TahH859takeקַח־kach-H3947an ironבַּרְזֶ֔לbar.ZelH1270plateמַחֲבַ֣תma.cha.VatH4227and set it upוְנָתַתָּ֤הve.na.ta.TahH5414אוֹתָהּ֙'o.TahH853as an ironבַּרְזֶ֔לbar.ZelH1270wallקִ֣ירkirH7023between yourselfH996and the cityהָעִ֑ירha.'IrH5892.Turnוַהֲכִינֹתָה֩va.ha.khi.no.TahH3559אֶת־'et-H853your faceפָּנֶ֨יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440toward itאֵלֶ֜יהָ'e.Lei.haH413so that it isוְהָיְתָ֤הve.ha.ye.TahH1961under siegeבַמָּצוֹר֙va.ma.tzOrH4692,and besiege itוְצַרְתָּ֣ עָלֶ֔יהָve.tzar.Ta 'a.Lei.haH6696 H5921.Thisהִ֖יאhi'H1931will be a signא֥וֹת'otH226to the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.

4Thenוְאַתָּ֤הve.'a.TahH859lie downשְׁכַב֙she.KhavH7901onעַל־'al-H5921your leftהַשְּׂמָאלִ֔יha.se.ma.LiH8042sideצִדְּךָ֣tzi.de.KhaH6654and placeוְשַׂמְתָּ֛ve.sam.TaH7760אֶת־'et-H853the iniquityעֲוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771of the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478upon yourselfעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921.You are to bearתִּשָּׂ֖אti.Sa'H5375אֶת־'et-H853their iniquityעֲוֹנָֽם׃'a.vo.NamH5771for the numberמִסְפַּ֤רmis.ParH4557of daysהַיָּמִים֙hai.ya.MimH3117אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you lie on your sideתִּשְׁכַּ֣ב עָלָ֔יוtish.Kav 'a.LavH7901 H5921.

6When you have completedוְכִלִּיתָ֣ve.khi.li.TaH3615אֶת־'et-H853these daysאֵ֗לֶּה'E.lehH428,lie downוְשָׁ֨כַבְתָּ֜ve.Sha.khav.taH7901againשֵׁנִ֔יתshe.NitH8145,but onעַל־'al-H5921your rightH3227sideצִדְּךָ֤tzi.de.KhaH6654,and bearוְנָשָׂ֖אתָve.na.Sa.taH5375אֶת־'et-H853the iniquityעֲוֹ֣ן'a.VonH5771of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063.I have assignedנְתַתִּ֥יוne.ta.TivH5414to you40אַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysH3117,a dayH3117for each yearH8141.

8Now beholdוְהִנֵּ֛הve.hi.NehH2009,I will tie you upנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414with ropesעָלֶ֖יךָ עֲבוֹתִ֑ים'a.Lei.kha a.vo.TimH5688 H5921so you cannotוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808turnתֵהָפֵ֤ךְte.ha.FekhH2015from sideמִֽצִּדְּךָ֙mi.tzi.de.KhaH6654toאֶל־'el-H413sideצִדֶּ֔ךָtzi.De.khaH6654untilעַד־'ad-H5704you have finishedכַּלּוֹתְךָ֖ka.lot.KhaH3615the daysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117of your siegeמְצוּרֶֽךָ׃me.tzu.Re.khaH4692.
