3and tellלְאַדְמַ֣תle.'ad.MatH559 H127herיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478that this is whatH3541the LORDH3068 H2005saysH559: ‘I am against youאֵלַ֔יִךְ'e.La.yikhH413,and I will drawוְהוֹצֵאתִ֥יve.ho.tze.TiH3318My swordחַרְבִּ֖יchar.BiH2719from its sheathמִתַּעְרָ֑הּmi.ta'.RahH8593and cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from youמִמֵּ֖ךְmi.MekhH4480both the righteousצַדִּ֥יקtza.DikH6662and the wickedוְרָשָֽׁע׃ve.ra.Sha'H7563.

4Becauseיַ֛עַןYa.'anH3282אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I will cut offהִכְרַ֥תִּיhikh.Ra.tiH3772מִמֵּ֖ךְmi.MekhH4480both the righteousצַדִּ֣יקtza.DikH6662and the wickedוְרָשָׁ֑עve.ra.Sha'H7563,My swordחַרְבִּ֧יchar.BiH2719לָ֠כֵןLa.khenH3651will beתֵּצֵ֨אte.Tze'H3318unsheathedמִתַּעְרָ֛הּmi.ta'.RahH8593againstאֶל־'el-H413everyoneH3605 H1320from southמִנֶּ֥גֶבmi.Ne.gevH5045to northצָפֽוֹן׃tza.FonH6828.

5Then allכָּל־kol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂ֔רba.SarH1320will knowוְיָֽדְעוּ֙ve.ya.de.'UH3045thatכִּ֚יkiH3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,have takenהוֹצֵ֥אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318My swordחַרְבִּ֖יchar.BiH2719from its sheathמִתַּעְרָ֑הּmi.ta'.RahH8593,notH3808to return itתָשׁ֖וּבta.ShuvH7725againעֽוֹד׃ סodH5750.’

6But youוְאַתָּ֥הve.'a.TahH859,sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120,groanהֵֽאָנַ֑חhe.'a.NachH584!Groanתֵּֽאָנַ֖חte.'a.NachH584before their eyesלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.HemH5869with a brokenבְּשִׁבְר֤וֹןbe.shiv.RonH7670heartמָתְנַ֙יִם֙ma.te.Na.yimH4975and bitter griefוּבִמְרִיר֔וּתu.vim.ri.RutH4814.

12Cry outזְעַ֤קze.'AkH2199and wailוְהֵילֵל֙ve.hei.LelH3213,O sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120,forH3588the swordהִיא֙hi'H1931is wieldedH1961against My peopleבְעַמִּ֔יve.'a.MiH5971;itהִ֖יאhi'H1931is against allH3605the princesנְשִׂיאֵ֣יne.si.'EiH5387of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478!They areH1961tossedמְגוּרֵ֤יme.gu.ReiH4048toH413the swordחֶ֙רֶב֙che.revH2719withאֶת־'et-H854My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971;thereforeלָכֵ֖ןla.KhenH3651strikeסְפֹ֥קse.FokH5606 H413your thighיָרֵֽךְ׃ya.RekhH3409.

14‘So thenוְאַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH859,sonH1121of manH120,prophesyH5012and strikeוְהַ֖ךְve.HakhH5221your hands togetherאֶל־'el-H3709 H413.Let the swordH2719strike two timesוְתִכָּפֵ֞לve.ti.ka.FelH3717,even threeשְׁלִישִׁ֙תָה֙she.li.Shi.tahH7992.Itהִ֗יאHi'H1931is a swordH2719thatslaysחֲלָלִ֔יםcha.la.LimH2491,a swordH2719of greatהַגָּד֔וֹלha.ga.DolH1419slaughterחָלָ֣לcha.LalH2491closing in on every sideהַחֹדֶ֖רֶתha.cho.De.retH2314!

16Slashהִתְאַחֲדִ֥יhit.'a.cha.DiH258to the rightהֵימִ֖נִיhei.Mi.niH3231;set your bladeהָשִׂ֣ימִיha.Si.miH7760to the leftהַשְׂמִ֑ילִיhas.Mi.liH8041—whereverאָ֖נָה'A.nahH575your bladeפָּנַ֥יִךְpa.Na.yikhH6440is directedמֻעָדֽוֹת׃mu.'a.DotH3259.
