21But ifכִּ֤יkiH3588the wicked manוְהָרָשָׁ֗עve.ha.ra.Sha'H7563turnsיָשׁוּב֙ya.ShuvH7725from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605the sinsחַטֹּאתָיו֙cha.ta.tovH2403אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he has committedעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213,keepsוְשָׁמַר֙ve.sha.MarH8104אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605My statutesחֻקּוֹתַ֔יchu.ko.TaiH2708,and doesוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213what is justמִשְׁפָּ֖טmish.PatH4941and rightוּצְדָקָ֑הu.tze.da.KahH6666,he will surely liveH2421;he will notלֹ֥אlo'H3808dieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.

22Noneכָּל־ לֹ֥אkol- lo'H3605 H3808of the transgressionsפְּשָׁעָיו֙pe.sha.'AvH6588אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he has committedעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213will be heldיִזָּכְר֖וּyi.za.khe.RuH2142against him.Because of the righteousnessבְּצִדְקָת֥וֹbe.tzid.ka.ToH6666אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he has practicedעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213,he will liveיִֽחְיֶֽה׃Yich.YehH2421.

23Do I take any pleasure inH2654the deathמ֣וֹתMotH4194of the wickedרָשָׁ֔עra.Sha'H7563?declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069.Wouldn’t I preferהֲל֛וֹאha.Lo'H3808that he turnבְּשׁוּב֥וֹbe.shu.VoH7725from his waysמִדְּרָכָ֖יוmi.de.ra.KhavH1870and liveוְחָיָֽה׃ סve.cha.YahH2421?

24But if a righteous manצַדִּ֤יקtza.DikH6662turnsוּבְשׁ֨וּבu.ve.ShuvH7725from his righteousnessמִצִּדְקָתוֹ֙mi.tzid.ka.ToH6666and practicesוְעָ֣שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213iniquityעָ֔וֶל'A.velH5766כְּכֹ֨לke.KholH3605,committingעָשָׂ֧ה'a.SahH6213the same abominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֜וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441asאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the wickedהָרָשָׁ֛ע יַעֲשֶׂ֖הha.ra.Sha' ya.'a.SehH7563 H6213,will he liveוָחָ֑י כָּל־va.Chai kol-H2421 H3605?Noneלֹ֣אlo'H3808of the righteous actsצִדְקֹתָ֤יוtzid.ka.tovH6666אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he didעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213will be rememberedתִזָּכַ֔רְנָהti.za.Khar.nahH2142.Because of the unfaithfulnessמָעַ֛לma.'AlH4603בְּמַעֲל֧וֹbe.ma.'a.LoH4604אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834and sinוּבְחַטָּאת֥וֹu.ve.cha.ta.ToH2403אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he has committedחָטָ֖אcha.Ta'H2398,he will dieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.

25Yet you sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֕םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘The wayדֶּ֣רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the Lordאֲדֹנָ֑י'a.do.NaiH136is notלֹ֥אlo'H3808justיִתָּכֵ֖ןyi.ta.KhenH8505.’Hearשִׁמְעוּ־shim.'u-H8085nowנָא֙na'H4994,O houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478:Is it My wayהֲדַרְכִּי֙ha.dar.KiH1870that is unjustלֹ֣א יִתָּכֵ֔ןlo' yi.ta.KhenH3808 H8505?Is it notהֲלֹ֥אha.Lo'H3808your waysדַרְכֵיכֶ֖םdar.khei.KhemH1870that are unjustלֹ֥א יִתָּכֵֽנוּ׃lo' yi.ta.Khe.nuH3808 H8505?

26If a righteous manצַדִּ֧יקtza.DikH6662turnsבְּשׁוּב־be.shuv-H7725from his righteousnessמִצִּדְקָת֛וֹmi.tzid.ka.ToH6666and practicesוְעָ֥שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213iniquityעָ֖וֶל'A.velH5766,he will dieוּמֵ֣תu.MetH4191for thisעֲלֵיהֶ֑ם'a.lei.HemH5921.He will dieיָמֽוּת׃ סya.MutH4191because of the iniquityבְּעַוְל֥וֹbe.'av.LoH5766אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he has committedעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213.

27But if a wicked manרָשָׁ֗עra.Sha'H7563turnsוּבְשׁ֣וּבu.ve.ShuvH7725from the wickednessמֵֽרִשְׁעָתוֹ֙me.rish.'a.ToH7564אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he has committedעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213and doesוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213what is justמִשְׁפָּ֖טmish.PatH4941and rightוּצְדָקָ֑הu.tze.da.KahH6666,heה֖וּאhu'H1931אֶת־'et-H853will saveיְחַיֶּֽה׃ye.chai.YehH2421his lifeנַפְשׁ֥וֹnaf.ShoH5315.

28Because he consideredוַיִּרְאֶ֣הvai.yir.'EhH7200and turnedוַיָּ֔שָׁבvai.ya.shovH7725from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605the transgressionsפְּשָׁעָ֖יוpe.sha.'AvH6588אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he had committedעָשָׂ֑ה'a.SahH6213,he will surely liveH2421;he will notלֹ֥אlo'H3808dieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.

29Yet the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysוְאָֽמְרוּ֙ve.'a.me.RuH559, ‘The wayדֶּ֣רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the Lordאֲדֹנָ֑י'a.do.NaiH136is notלֹ֥אlo'H3808justיִתָּכֵ֖ןyi.ta.KhenH8505.’Are My waysהַדְּרָכַ֞יha.de.ra.KhaiH1870unjustלֹ֤אlo'H3808יִתָּֽכְנּוּ֙yi.ta.khe.NuH8505,O houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478?Is it notהֲלֹ֥אha.Lo'H3808your waysדַרְכֵיכֶ֖םdar.khei.KhemH1870that are unjustלֹ֥א יִתָּכֵֽן׃lo' yi.ta.KhenH3808 H8505?
