7For whenכִּי֩kiH3588anyH376Israeliteמִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗לmi.Beit Yis.ra.'ElH1004 H3478or any foreignerוּמֵהַגֵּר֮u.me.ha.GerH1616אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834dwellingיָג֣וּרya.GurH1481in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵל֒be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478separates himselfוְיִנָּזֵ֣רve.yi.na.ZerH5144from Meמֵֽאַחֲרַ֗יme.'a.cha.RaiH310,sets upוְיַ֤עַלve.Ya.'alH5927idolsגִּלּוּלָיו֙gi.lu.LavH1544inאֶל־'el-H413his heartלִבּ֔וֹli.BoH3820,and putsיָשִׂ֖יםya.SimH7760a wickedעֲוֹנ֔וֹa.vo.NoH5771stumbling blockוּמִכְשׁ֣וֹלu.mikh.SholH4383beforeנֹ֣כַחNo.khachH5227his faceפָּנָ֑יוpa.NavH6440,and then comesוּבָ֤אu.Va'H935toאֶל־'el-H413the prophetהַנָּבִיא֙ha.na.Vi'H5030to inquireלִדְרָשׁ־lid.rosh-H1875of Me,Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will answerנַֽעֲנֶה־na.'a.neh-H6030him Myself.

8I will setוְנָתַתִּ֨יve.na.ta.TiH5414My faceפָנַ֜יfa.NaiH6440against thatהַה֗וּאha.Hu'H1931manבָּאִ֣ישׁba.'IshH376and make himוַהֲשִֽׂמֹתִ֙יהוּ֙va.ha.si.mo.Ti.huH7760a signלְא֣וֹתle.'otH226and a proverbוְלִמְשָׁלִ֔יםve.lim.sha.LimH4912;I will cut him offוְהִכְרַתִּ֖יוve.hikh.ra.TivH3772from amongמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432My peopleעַמִּ֑י'a.MiH5971.Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

9But ifכִֽי־khi-H3588the prophetוְהַנָּבִ֤יאve.ha.na.Vi'H5030is enticedיְפֻתֶּה֙ye.fu.TehH6601to speakוְדִבֶּ֣רve.di.BerH1696a messageדָּבָ֔רda.VarH1697,then it was Iאֲנִ֤י'a.NiH589the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068who enticedפִּתֵּ֔יתִיpi.Tei.tiH6601אֵ֖ת'etH853himהַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֑וּאha.na.Vi' ha.Hu'H1931 H5030,and I will stretch outוְנָטִ֤יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186אֶת־'et-H853My handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027against himעָלָ֔יו'a.LavH5921and destroy himוְהִ֨שְׁמַדְתִּ֔יוve.Hish.mad.TivH8045from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

10They will bearוְנָשְׂא֖וּve.na.se.'UH5375their punishmentעֲוֹנָ֑ם'a.vo.NamH5771—the punishmentכַּֽעֲוֹן֙ka.'a.VonH5771of the inquirerהַדֹּרֵ֔שׁha.do.ReshH1875will beיִֽהְיֶֽה׃Yih.YehH1961the same as thatכַּעֲוֹ֥ןka.'a.VonH5771of the prophetהַנָּבִ֖יאha.na.Vi'H5030—

11in order thatלְ֠מַעַןLe.ma.'anH4616the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478may noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808longerע֤וֹדodH5750strayיִתְע֨וּyit.'UH8582from Meמֵאַֽחֲרַ֔יme.'a.cha.RaiH310and noוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808longerע֖וֹדodH5750defile themselvesיִטַּמְּא֥וּyi.ta.me.'UH2930with allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605their transgressionsפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֑םpish.'ei.HemH6588.Then they will beוְהָ֥יוּve.Ha.yuH1961Mypeopleלְעָ֗םle.'AmH5971and Iוַֽאֲנִי֙va.'a.NiH589will beאֶהְיֶ֤ה'eh.YehH1961theirGodלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430,declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.’”
