24In thoseהָהֵ֔םha.HemH1992daysבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֖הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396becameעַד־'ad-H5704mortallyלָמ֑וּתla.MutH4191illחָלָ֥הcha.LahH2470.So he prayedוַיִּתְפַּלֵּל֙vai.yit.pa.LelH6419toאֶל־'el-H413the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,who spokeוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to himand gaveנָ֥תַןNa.tanH5414hima signוּמוֹפֵ֖תu.mo.FetH4159.

25But becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588his heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820was proudגָבַ֖הּga.VahH1361,Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396did notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808repayהֵשִׁ֣יבhe.ShivH7725the favorכִגְמֻ֤לkhig.MulH1576shownto himעָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921.Therefore wrathקֶ֔צֶףKe.tzefH7110cameוַיְהִ֤יvay.HiH1961upon himעָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921and uponוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063and Jerusalemוִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃vi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

26Then Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396humbledוַיִּכָּנַ֤עvai.yi.ka.Na'H3665the prideבְּגֹ֣בַהּbe.GoahH1363of his heartלִבּ֔וֹli.BoH3820—heה֖וּאhu'H1931and the peopleוְיֹשְׁבֵ֣יve.yo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389—so that the wrathקֶ֣צֶףKe.tzefH7110of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068did notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808comeבָ֤אva'H935upon themעֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH5921during the daysבִּימֵ֖יbi.MeiH3117of Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396.

27Hezekiahלִֽיחִזְקִיָּ֛הוּli.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396hadוַיְהִ֧יvay.HiH1961veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966greatהַרְבֵּ֣הhar.BehH7235richesעֹ֥שֶׁר'O.sherH6239and honorוְכָב֖וֹדve.kha.VodH3519,and he madeעָֽשָׂה־'a.sah-H6213treasuriesוְאֹֽצָר֣וֹתve.'o.tza.RotH214for his silverלְכֶ֨סֶףle.Khe.sefH3701,goldוּלְזָהָ֜בu.le.za.HavH2091,preciousיְקָרָ֗הye.ka.RahH3368stonesוּלְאֶ֣בֶןu.le.'E.venH68,spicesוְלִבְשָׂמִים֙ve.liv.sa.MimH1314,shieldsוּלְמָ֣גִנִּ֔יםu.le.Ma.gi.NimH4043,and allוּלְכֹ֖לu.le.KholH3605kinds of valuableחֶמְדָּֽה׃chem.DahH2532articlesכְּלֵ֥יke.LeiH3627.

28He also made storehousesוּמִ֨סְכְּנ֔וֹתu.Mis.ke.NotH4543for the harvestלִתְבוּאַ֥תlit.vu.'AtH8393of grainדָּגָ֖ןda.GanH1715and new wineוְתִיר֣וֹשׁve.ti.Ro.oshH8492and oilוְיִצְהָ֑רve.yitz.HarH3323,stallsוְאֻֽרָוֹת֙ve.'u.ra.VotH723for all kindsלְכָל־le.kholH3605of livestockH929,and pensלָאֲוֵרֽוֹת׃la.'a.ve.RotH220for the flocksוַעֲדָרִ֖יםva.'a.da.RimH5739.

29He madeעָ֣שָׂה'A.sahH6213citiesוְעָרִים֙ve.'a.RimH5892for himself,and he acquired herdsוּמִקְנֵה־u.mik.neh-H4735of sheepצֹ֥אןtzonH6629and cattleוּבָקָ֖רu.va.KarH1241in abundanceלָרֹ֑בla.RoH7230,forכִּ֤יkiH3588Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430gaveנָֽתַן־na.tan-H5414himveryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966greatרַ֥בravH7227wealthרְכ֖וּשׁre.KhushH7399.

30It wasוְה֣וּאve.Hu'H1931Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֗הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396who blockedסָתַם֙sa.TamH5640אֶת־'et-H853the upperהָֽעֶלְי֔וֹןha.'el.YonH5945outletמוֹצָ֞אmo.Tza'H4161of the Springמֵימֵ֤יmei.MeiH4325of Gihonגִיחוֹן֙gi.chOnH1521and channeledוַֽיַּישְּׁרֵ֥םvai.yaishsh.RemH3474it downלְמַֽטָּה־le.ma.tah-H4295to the west sideמַּעְרָ֖בָהma'.Ra.vahH4628of the Cityלְעִ֣ירle.'IrH5892of Davidדָּוִ֑ידda.VidH1732.And Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֖הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396prosperedוַיַּצְלַ֥חvai.yatz.LachH6743in allבְּכָֽל־be.kholH3605that he didמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ma.'a.Se.huH4639.

31And soוְכֵ֞ןve.KhenH3651when ambassadorsבִּמְלִיצֵ֣י׀bim.li.TzeiH3887of the rulersשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of Babylonבָּבֶ֗לba.VelH894were sentהַֽמְשַׁלְּחִ֤יםham.sha.le.ChimH7971to himעָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921to inquire aboutלִדְרֹ֗שׁlid.RoshH1875the wonderהַמּוֹפֵת֙ha.mo.FetH4159thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834had happenedהָיָ֣הha.YahH1961in the landבָאָ֔רֶץva.'A.retzH776,Godהָֽאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430left himעֲזָב֖וֹa.za.VoH5800aloneto test himלְנַ֨סּוֹת֔וֹle.Na.so.ToH5254,that He might knowלָדַ֖עַתla.Da.'atH3045allכָּל־kol-H3605that was in Hezekiah’s heartבִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃bil.va.VoH3824.
