3Jothamה֗וּאHu'H1931rebuiltבָּנָ֛הba.NahH1129אֶת־'et-H853the Upperהָעֶלְי֑וֹןha.'el.YonH5945Gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and he workedבָּנָ֖הba.NahH1129extensivelyלָרֹֽב׃la.RoH7230on the wallוּבְחוֹמַ֥תu.ve.cho.MatH2346at the hill of Ophelהָעֹ֛פֶלha.'O.felH6077.

4He also builtבָּנָ֖הba.NahH1129citiesוְעָרִ֥יםve.'a.RimH5892in the hill countryבְּהַר־be.har-H2022of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063and fortressesבִּֽירָנִיּ֖וֹתbi.ra.ni.YotH1003and towersוּמִגְדָּלִֽים׃u.mig.da.LimH4026in the forestsוּבֶחֳרָשִׁ֣ים בָּנָ֔הu.ve.cho.ra.Shim ba.NahH2793 H1129.

5Jothamוְ֠הוּאVe.hu'H1931waged warנִלְחַ֞םnil.ChamH3898againstעִם־'im-H5973the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the Ammonitesבְּנֵי־ עַמּוֹן֮be.nei- 'a.mOnH1121 H5983and defeated themוַיֶּחֱזַ֣ק עֲלֵיהֶם֒vai.ye.che.Zak 'a.lei.HemH2388 H5921,and thatהַהִ֗יאha.Hi'H1931yearבַּשָּׁנָ֣הba.sha.NahH8141theyבְנֵֽי־ עַמּ֜וֹןve.nei- a.MonH1121 H5983gaveוַיִּתְּנוּ־vai.yi.te.nu-H5414hima hundredמֵאָה֙me.'AhH3967talentsכִּכַּר־ki.kar-H3603of silverכֶּ֔סֶףKe.sefH3701,tenוַעֲשֶׂ֨רֶתva.'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֤ים'a.la.FimH505corsכֹּרִים֙ko.RimH3734of wheatחִטִּ֔יםchi.TimH2406,and tenעֲשֶׂ֣רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֑ים'a.la.FimH505corsof barleyוּשְׂעוֹרִ֖יםu.se.'o.RimH8184. 6So Jothamיוֹתָ֑םyo.TamH3147grew powerfulוַיִּתְחַזֵּ֖קvai.yit.cha.ZekH2388becauseכִּ֚יkiH3588he orderedהֵכִ֣יןhe.KhinH3559his waysדְּרָכָ֔יוde.ra.KhavH1870beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068his Godאֱלֹהָֽיו׃'e.lo.HavH430.

7As for the restוְיֶתֶר֙ve.ye.TerH3499of the actsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of Jothamיוֹתָ֔םyo.TamH3147,along with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605his warsמִלְחֲמֹתָ֖יוmil.cha.mo.TavH4421and his waysוּדְרָכָ֑יוu.de.ra.KhavH1870,they are indeedהִנָּ֣םhi.NamH2005writtenכְּתוּבִ֔יםke.tu.VimH3789inעַל־'al-H5921the Bookסֵ֥פֶרSe.ferH5612of the Kingsמַלְכֵֽי־mal.khei-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Judahוִיהוּדָֽה׃vi.hu.DahH3063.
