Romans 11:15-22
15For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the worldG2889, what shall the receiving of them be, but lifeG2222 from the deadG3498? 16And if the firstfruit is holyG40, so is the lumpG5445: and if the rootG4491 is holyG40, so are the branchesG2798. 17But if some of the branchesG2798 wereG1510 broken off, and thou, beingG1510 a wildG65 oliveG1636, wast graftedG1461 in among them, and didst becomeG1096 partaker with them of the rootG4491 of the fatness of the oliveG1636 treeG1636; 18glory not over the branchesG2798: but if thou gloriest, it is not thou that bearest the rootG4491, but the rootG4491 thee. 19Thou wilt sayG3004 thenG3767, BranchesG2798 were broken off, that I might be graftedG1461 in. 20WellG2573; by their unbeliefG570 they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faithG4102. Be not highminded, but fearG5399: 21for if GodG2316 spared not the natural branchesG2798, neither will he spareG5339 thee. 22BeholdG2396 then the goodness and severityG663 of GodG2316: toward them that fellG4098, severityG663; but toward thee, God’s goodness, if thou continueG1961 in his goodness: otherwiseG1893 thou alsoG2532 shalt be cutG1581 off.
