Numbers 32:16-27
16And they came near unto him, and saidH559, We will buildH1129 sheepfolds hereH6311 for our cattle, and citiesH5892 for our littleH2945 onesH2945: 17but we ourselves will be ready armedH2502 to goH935 before the children of IsraelH3478, until we have broughtH935 them unto their placeH4725: and our littleH2945 onesH2945 shall dwellH3427 in the fortified citiesH5892 because of the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776. 18We will not returnH7725 unto our housesH1004, until the children of IsraelH3478 have inheritedH5157 every manH376 his inheritanceH5159. 19For we will not inheritH5157 with them on the otherH5676 sideH5676 of the JordanH3383, and forward; because our inheritanceH5159 is fallen to us on this sideH5676 of the JordanH3383 eastward.
20And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, If ye will do this thingH1697, if ye will arm yourselves to go before Jehovah to the warH4421, 21and every armedH2502 man of you will passH5674 over the JordanH3383 before Jehovah, until he hath driven out his enemiesH341 from before him, 22and the landH776 is subduedH3533 before Jehovah; then afterward ye shall returnH7725, and beH1961 guiltless towards Jehovah, and towards IsraelH3478; and this landH776 shall beH1961 unto you for a possessionH272 before Jehovah. 23But if ye will not do soH3651, behold, ye have sinnedH2398 against Jehovah; and be sure your sinH2398 will findH4672 you out. 24BuildH1129 you citiesH5892 for your littleH2945 onesH2945, and foldsH1448 for your sheepH6792; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouthH6310. 25And the children of GadH1410 and the children of ReubenH7205 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, Thy servantsH5650 will do as my lordH113 commandeth. 26Our littleH2945 onesH2945, our wivesH802, our flocks, and all our cattleH929, shall beH1961 there in the citiesH5892 of GileadH1568; 27but thy servantsH5650 will passH5674 over, every man that is armedH2502 for warH4421, before Jehovah to battleH4421, as my lord saith.
