Numbers 18:21-28

21And unto the children of LeviH3878, behold, I have givenH5414 all the titheH4643 in IsraelH3478 for an inheritanceH5159, in returnH2500 for their serviceH5656 which they serveH5647, even the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 22And henceforth the children of IsraelH3478 shall not come nigh the tentH168 of meetingH4150, lest they bearH5375 sinH2399, and dieH4191. 23But the LevitesH3881 shall do the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and they shall bearH5375 their iniquityH5771: it shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 throughout your generationsH1755; and among the children of IsraelH3478 they shall have no inheritanceH5159. 24For the titheH4643 of the children of IsraelH3478, which they offerH7311 as a heave-offering unto Jehovah, I have givenH5414 to the LevitesH3881 for an inheritanceH5159: thereforeH3651 I have saidH559 unto them, Among the children of IsraelH3478 they shall have no inheritanceH5159.

25And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 26Moreover thou shalt speakH1696 unto the LevitesH3881, and sayH559 unto them, When ye takeH3947 of the children of IsraelH3478 the titheH4643 which I have givenH5414 you from them for your inheritanceH5159, then ye shall offerH7311 up a heave-offering of it for Jehovah, a titheH4643 of the titheH4643. 27And your heave-offering shall be reckonedH2803 unto you, as though it were the grainH1715 of the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepressH3342. 28ThusH3651 ye alsoH1571 shall offerH7311 a heave-offering unto Jehovah of all your tithesH4643, which ye receiveH3947 of the children of IsraelH3478; and thereof ye shall giveH5414 Jehovah’s heave-offering to AaronH175 the priestH3548.
