Matthew 17:22-27
22And while they abode in GalileeG1056, JesusG2424 saidG3004 unto them, The SonG5207 of manG444 shall be deliveredG3860 up into the handsG5495 of menG444; 23and they shall killG615 him, and the thirdG5154 dayG2250 he shall be raisedG1453 up. And they were exceeding sorry.
24And when they were comeG2064 to CapernaumG2584, they that receivedG2983 the half-shekel cameG2064 to PeterG4074, and saidG3004, Doth not your teacherG1320 pay the half-shekel? 25He saith, Yea. And when he cameG2064 into the houseG3614, JesusG2424 spake first to him, sayingG3004, What thinkest thou, SimonG4613? the kingsG935 of the earthG1093, from whom do they receiveG2983 toll or tribute? from their sonsG5207, or from strangersG245? 26And when he saidG3004, From strangersG245, JesusG2424 saidG3004 unto him, ThereforeG686 the sonsG5207 areG1510 freeG1658. 27But, lestG3361 we causeG4624 them to stumbleG4624, goG4198 thou to the seaG2281, and castG906 a hook, and takeG142 up the fishG2486 that firstG4413 cometh up; and when thou hast openedG455 his mouthG4750, thou shalt findG2147 a shekel: that takeG142, and giveG1325 unto them for me and thee.
