Luke 8:49-55
49While he yetG2089 spake, there cometh oneG5100 from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, sayingG3004, Thy daughterG2364 is dead; troubleG4660 not the TeacherG1320. 50But JesusG2424 hearingG191 it, answeredG611 him, FearG5399 not: onlyG3440 believeG4100, and she shall be made whole. 51And when he cameG2064 to the houseG3614, he suffered not any man to enterG1525 in with him, save PeterG4074, and JohnG2491, and JamesG2385, and the fatherG3962 of the maiden and her motherG3384. 52And all were weepingG2799, and bewailing her: but he saidG3004, WeepG2799 not; for she is not deadG599, but sleepeth. 53And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was deadG599. 54But he, takingG2902 her by the handG5495, called, sayingG3004, Maiden, ariseG1453. 55And her spiritG4151 returnedG1994, and she roseG450 up immediatelyG3916: and he commandedG1299 that something be givenG1325 her to eatG2068.
