Luke 21:8-19
8And he saidG3004, TakeG991 heedG991 that ye beG1510 not led astrayG4105: for manyG4183 shall comeG2064 in my nameG3686, sayingG3004, I amG1510 he; and, The timeG2540 isG1510 at hand: goG4198 ye not after them. 9And whenG3752 ye shall hearG191 of warsG4171 and tumults, be not terrified: for these thingsG3778 must needs comeG1096 to passG1096 firstG4413; but the endG5056 is not immediatelyG2112.
10Then saidG3004 he unto them, NationG1484 shall riseG1453 against nationG1484, and kingdomG932 against kingdomG932; 11and there shall beG1510 greatG3173 earthquakesG4578, and in divers placesG5117 faminesG3042 and pestilences; and there shall beG1510 terrors and greatG3173 signsG4592 from heavenG3772. 12But before all these thingsG3778, they shall lay their handsG5495 on you, and shall persecuteG1377 you, deliveringG3860 you up to the synagoguesG4864 and prisonsG5438, bringing you before kingsG935 and governorsG2232 for my name’sG3686 sakeG1752. 13It shall turn out unto you for a testimonyG3142. 14Settle it thereforeG3767 in your heartsG2588, not to meditate beforehand how to answer: 15for I will giveG1325 you a mouthG4750 and wisdomG4678, which all your adversaries shall not be ableG1410 to withstand or to gainsay. 16But ye shall be deliveredG3860 up evenG2532 by parentsG1118, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friendsG5384; and some of you shall they cause to be putG2289 to deathG2289. 17And ye shall beG1510 hatedG3404 of all men for my name’sG3686 sakeG1223. 18And not a hairG2359 of your headG2776 shall perishG622. 19In your patience ye shall win your soulsG5590.
