Luke 16:23-28
23And in HadesG86 he liftedG1869 up his eyesG3788, being in torments, and seeth AbrahamG11 afar off, and LazarusG2976 in his bosomG2859. 24And he cried and saidG3004, FatherG3962 AbrahamG11, have mercyG1653 on me, and sendG3992 LazarusG2976, that he may dipG911 the tip of his fingerG1147 in waterG5204, and cool my tongueG1100; for I am in anguish in this flameG5395. 25But AbrahamG11 saidG3004, SonG5043, rememberG3403 that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy goodG18 thingsG18, and LazarusG2976 in like manner evilG2556 thingsG18: but nowG1161 hereG5602 he is comfortedG3870, and thou art in anguish. 26And besides all this, between us and you there is a greatG3173 gulf fixed, that they that wouldG2309 pass from hence to you may not be ableG1410, and that none may cross over from thence to us. 27And he saidG3004, I pray thee thereforeG3767, fatherG3962, that thou wouldest sendG3992 him to my father’sG3962 houseG3624; 28for I have fiveG4002 brethren; that he may testifyG1263 unto them, lestG3361 they alsoG2532 comeG2064 into this placeG5117 of tormentG931.
