1 Corinthians 14:26-40
26What isG1510 it thenG3767, brethren? WhenG3752 ye comeG1096 togetherG4905, each oneG1538 hath a psalmG5568, hath a teachingG1322, hath a revelationG602, hath a tongueG1100, hath an interpretationG2058. Let all thingsG3956 beG1510 done unto edifying. 27If any man speaketh in a tongueG1100, let it be by twoG1417, or at the most threeG5140, and that in turn; and let oneG1520 interpretG1329: 28but if there beG1510 no interpreter, let him keep silence in the churchG1577; and let him speakG2980 to himself, and to GodG2316. 29And let the prophetsG4396 speakG2980 by twoG1417 or threeG5140, and let the othersG243 discernG1252. 30But if a revelation be made to another sittingG2521 by, let the firstG4413 keep silence. 31For ye all can prophesyG4395 oneG1520 by oneG1520, that all may learnG3129, and all may be exhortedG3870; 32and the spiritsG4151 of the prophetsG4396 are subjectG5293 to the prophetsG4396; 33for GodG2316 isG1510 not a GodG2316 of confusion, but of peaceG1515.
As in all the churchesG1577 of the saintsG40, 34let the womenG1135 keep silence in the churchesG1577: for it is not permittedG2010 unto them to speakG2980; but let them be in subjectionG5293, as alsoG2532 saith the lawG3551. 35And if they would learnG3129 anythingG5100, let them askG1905 their ownG2398 husbandsG435 at homeG3624: for it isG1510 shamefulG150 for a womanG1135 to speakG2980 in the churchG1577. 36What? was it from you that the wordG3056 of GodG2316 wentG1831 forthG1831? or cameG1831 it unto you aloneG3441?
37If any man thinketh himself to beG1510 a prophetG4396, or spiritualG4152, let him take knowledge of the thingsG3739 which I writeG1125 unto you, that they areG1510 the commandment of the LordG2962. 38But if any man is ignorantG50, let him be ignorantG50.
39Wherefore, my brethren, desireG2206 earnestlyG2206 to prophesyG4395, and forbidG2967 not to speakG2980 with tonguesG1100. 40But let all thingsG3956 be done decently and in orderG5010.
