2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120,speakדַּבֵּ֤רda.BerH1696to thechildrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of thypeopleעַמְּךָ֙'a.me.KhaH5971, andsayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, When Ibringאָבִ֥יא'a.Vi'H935theswordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719upon alandאֶ֕רֶץ'E.retzH776, if thepeopleעַם־'am-H5971of thelandהָאָ֜רֶץha.'A.retzH776takeוְלָקְח֨וּve.la.ke.ChuH3947aאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259manאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376from amongthemמִקְצֵיהֶ֔םmik.tzei.HemH7097, andsetוְנָתְנ֥וּve.na.te.NuH5414him for theirwatchmanלְצֹפֶֽה׃le.tzo.PehH6822:

3If when heseethוְרָאָ֥הve.ra.'AhH7200theswordהַחֶ֖רֶבha.Che.revH2719comeבָּאָ֣הba.'AhH935upon thelandהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776, he shallblowוְתָקַ֥עve.ta.Ka'H8628thetrumpetבַּשּׁוֹפָ֖רba.sho.FarH7782, andwarnוְהִזְהִ֥ירve.hiz.HirH2094thepeopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971;

4Thenwhoeverוְשָׁמַ֨עve.sha.Ma'H8085hearethהַשֹּׁמֵ֜עַha.sho.Me.a'H8085thesoundק֤וֹלKolH6963of thetrumpetהַשּׁוֹפָר֙ha.sho.FarH7782, and taketh notwarningנִזְהָ֔רniz.HarH2094; if theswordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719willcomeוַתָּ֥בוֹאva.Ta.Vo'H935, and take himawayוַתִּקָּחֵ֑הוּva.ti.ka.Che.huH3947, hisbloodדָּמ֥וֹda.MoH1818shall be upon his ownheadבְרֹאשׁ֖וֹve.ro.ShoH7218.

5Heheardשָׁמַע֙sha.Ma'H8085thesoundק֨וֹלKolH6963of thetrumpetהַשּׁוֹפָ֤רha.sho.FarH7782, and took notwarningנִזְהָ֔רniz.HarH2094; hisbloodדָּמ֖וֹda.MoH1818shall be upon him. But he that takethwarningנִזְהָ֖רniz.HarH2094shalldeliverמִלֵּֽט׃mi.LetH4422hissoulנַפְשׁ֥וֹnaf.ShoH5315.

6But if thewatchmanוְ֠הַצֹּפֶהVe.ha.tzo.fehH6822willseeיִרְאֶ֨הyir.'EhH7200theswordהַחֶ֜רֶבha.Che.revH2719comeבָּאָ֗הba.'AhH935, andblowתָקַ֤עta.Ka'H8628not thetrumpetבַּשּׁוֹפָר֙ba.sho.FarH7782, and thepeopleוְהָעָ֣םve.ha.'AmH5971be notwarnedנִזְהָ֔רniz.HarH2094; if theswordחֶ֔רֶבChe.revH2719willcomeוַתָּב֣וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935, andtakeוַתִּקַּ֥חva.ti.KachH3947anypersonנָ֑פֶשׁNa.feshH5315from among them, he is takenawayנִלְקָ֔חnil.KachH3947in hisiniquityבַּעֲוֹנ֣וֹba.'a.vo.NoH5771; but hisbloodוְדָמ֖וֹve.da.MoH1818will Irequireאֶדְרֹֽשׁ׃ ס'ed.RoshH1875at thewatchman’sהַצֹּפֶ֥הha.tzo.PehH6822handמִיַּֽד־mi.yad-H3027.

7So thou, Osonבֶן־ven-H1121ofmanאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120, I havesetנְתַתִּ֖יךָne.ta.Ti.khaH5414thee awatchmanצֹפֶ֥הtzo.PehH6822to thehouseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478; therefore thou shalthearוְשָׁמַעְתָּ֤ve.sha.ma'.TaH8085thewordדָּבָ֔רda.VarH1697at mymouthמִפִּי֙mi.PiH6310, andwarnוְהִזְהַרְתָּ֥ve.hiz.har.TaH2094them from me.
