20Thesoulהַנֶּ֥פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315thatsinnethהַחֹטֵ֖אתha.cho.TetH2398, it shalldieתָמ֑וּתta.MutH4191. 22All histransgressionsפְּשָׁעָיו֙pe.sha.'AvH6588that he hathcommittedעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213, they shall not bementionedיִזָּכְר֖וּyi.za.khe.RuH2142to him: in hisrighteousnessבְּצִדְקָת֥וֹbe.tzid.ka.ToH6666that he hathdoneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213he shallliveיִֽחְיֶֽה׃Yich.YehH2421.

24But when therighteousצַדִּ֤יקtza.DikH6662turnethawayוּבְשׁ֨וּבu.ve.ShuvH7725from hisrighteousnessמִצִּדְקָתוֹ֙mi.tzid.ka.ToH6666, andcommittethוְעָ֣שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213iniquityעָ֔וֶל'A.velH5766, anddoethעָשָׂ֧ה'a.SahH6213according to all theabominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֜וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441that thewickedהָרָשָׁ֛עha.ra.Sha'H7563mandoethיַעֲשֶׂ֖הya.'a.SehH6213, shall heliveH2425? 26When arighteousצַדִּ֧יקtza.DikH6662man turnethawayבְּשׁוּב־be.shuv-H7725from hisrighteousnessמִצִּדְקָת֛וֹmi.tzid.ka.ToH6666, andcommittethוְעָ֥שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213iniquityעָ֖וֶל'A.velH5766, anddiethוּמֵ֣תu.MetH4191in them; for hisiniquityבְּעַוְל֥וֹbe.'av.LoH5766that he hathdoneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213shall hedieיָמֽוּת׃ סya.MutH4191.

27Again, when awickedרָשָׁ֗עra.Sha'H7563man turnethawayוּבְשׁ֣וּבu.ve.ShuvH7725from hiswickednessמֵֽרִשְׁעָתוֹ֙me.rish.'a.ToH7564that he hathcommittedעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213, anddoethוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213that which islawfulמִשְׁפָּ֖טmish.PatH4941andrightוּצְדָקָ֑הu.tze.da.KahH6666, he shallsaveH2421hissoulנַפְשׁ֥וֹnaf.ShoH5315aliveיְחַיֶּֽה׃ye.chai.YehH2421.

28Because heconsiderethוַיִּרְאֶ֣הvai.yir.'EhH7200, and turnethawayוַיָּ֔שָׁבvai.ya.shovH7725from all histransgressionsפְּשָׁעָ֖יוpe.sha.'AvH6588that he hathcommittedעָשָׂ֑ה'a.SahH6213, he shallsurelyחָי֥וֹcha.YoH2421liveיִחְיֶ֖הyich.YehH2421, he shall notdieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.
