8Thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541didעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213yourfathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1, when Isentבְּשָׁלְחִ֥יbe.sha.le.ChiH7971them fromKadesh-barneaH6947toseeלִרְא֥וֹתlir.'otH7200thelandהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

9For when theywentבֹא֙vo'H935upוַֽיַּעֲל֞וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927unto thevalleyנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158ofEshcolאֶשְׁכּ֗וֹל'esh.KolH812, andsawוַיִּרְאוּ֙vai.yir.'UH7200thelandהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776, they discouraged theheartלֵ֖בlevH3820of thechildrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, that they shouldnotלְבִלְתִּי־le.vil.ti-H1115goH935intoאֶל־'el-H413thelandהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068hadgivenנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414them.

14And,beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009, ye arerisenH6965upH6965in yourfathers’אֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם'a.Vo.tei.KhemH1steadתַּ֚חַתTa.chatH8478, an increase ofsinfulחַטָּאִ֑יםcha.ta.'ImH2400menH376, to augment yet thefierceחֲר֥וֹןcha.RonH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068towardאֶל־'el-H413Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

15Forifכִּ֤יkiH3588yeturnתְשׁוּבֻן֙te.shu.VunH7725awayH7725fromafterמֵֽאַחֲרָ֔יוme.'a.cha.RavH310him, he will yetagainע֔וֹדodH5750leaveH3240them in thewildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057; and ye shalldestroyוְשִֽׁחַתֶּ֖םve.shi.cha.TemH7843allלְכָל־le.kholH3605thispeopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971.
