2Thus speakethאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֛וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,I have brokenשָׁבַ֞רְתִּיsha.Var.tiH7665the yokeעֹ֖ל'olH5923of the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894.

3Within two fullיָמִ֗יםya.MimH3117yearsשְׁנָתַ֣יִםshe.na.Ta.yimH8141will I bring againמֵשִׁיב֙me.ShivH7725into this placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725all the vesselsכְּלֵ֖יke.LeiH3627of Yhwh'sיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004,that Nebuchadnezzarנְבוּכַדנֶאצַּ֤רne.vu.kha.d.ne.TzarH5019kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶל֙ba.VelH894took awayלָקַ֜חla.KachH3947from this placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and carriedוַיְבִיאֵ֖םvay.vi.'EmH935them to Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894:

5Then the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֣הyir.me.YahH3414saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559unto the prophetהַנָּבִ֑יאha.na.Vi'H5030Hananiahחֲנַנְיָ֖הcha.nan.YahH2608in the presenceלְעֵינֵ֤יle.'ei.NeiH5869of the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548,and in the presenceוּלְעֵינֵ֣יu.le.'ei.NeiH5869of all the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971that stoodהָעֹמְדִ֖יםha.'o.me.DimH5975in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068,

7Nevertheless hearשְׁמַֽע־she.ma'-H8085thou now this wordהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697that I speakדֹּבֵ֣רdo.VerH1696in thine earsבְּאָזְנֶ֑יךָbe.'a.ze.Nei.khaH241,and in the earsוּבְאָזְנֵ֖יu.ve.'a.ze.NeiH241of all the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971;

8The prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֗יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030that have been beforeלְפָנַ֛יle.fa.NaiH6440me and beforeוּלְפָנֶ֖יךָu.le.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee of oldהָֽעוֹלָ֑םha.'o.LamH5769prophesiedוַיִּנָּ֨בְא֜וּvai.yi.Na.ve.'UH5012both against manyרַבּוֹת֙ra.bOtH7227countriesאֲרָצ֤וֹת'a.ra.TzotH776,and against greatגְּדֹל֔וֹתge.do.LotH1419kingdomsמַמְלָכ֣וֹתmam.la.KhotH4467,of warלְמִלְחָמָ֖הle.mil.cha.MahH4421,and of evilוּלְרָעָ֥הu.le.ra.'AhH7451,and of pestilenceוּלְדָֽבֶר׃u.le.Da.verH1698.

9The prophetהַנָּבִ֕יאha.na.Vi'H5030which prophesiethיִנָּבֵ֖אyi.na.Ve'H5012of peaceלְשָׁל֑וֹםle.sha.LomH7965,when the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the prophetהַנָּבִ֗יאha.na.Vi'H5030shall come to passבְּבֹא֙be.Vo'H935,thenH227shall the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030be knownיִוָּדַע֙yi.va.Da'H3045,that Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath trulyבֶּאֱמֶֽת׃be.'e.MetH571sentשְׁלָח֥וֹshe.la.ChoH7971him.

10Then Hananiahחֲנַנְיָ֤הcha.nan.YahH2608the prophetהַנָּבִיא֙ha.na.Vi'H5030tookוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947the yokeהַמּוֹטָ֔הha.mo.TahH4133from off the prophetהַנָּבִ֑יאha.na.Vi'H5030Jeremiah’sיִרְמְיָ֣הyir.me.YahH3414neckצַוַּ֖ארtza.VarH6677,and brakeוַֽיִּשְׁבְּרֵֽהוּ׃Vai.yish.be.Re.huH7665it.

12Then the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came unto Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֑הyir.me.YahH3414the prophet,afterאַ֠חֲרֵי'A.cha.reiH310that Hananiahחֲנַנְיָ֤הcha.nan.YahH2608the prophetהַנָּבִיא֙ha.na.Vi'H5030had brokenשְׁב֞וֹרshe.VorH7665the yokeהַמּוֹטָ֔הha.mo.TahH4133from off the neckצַוַּ֛ארtza.VarH6677of the prophetהַנָּבִ֖יאha.na.Vi'H5030Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֥הyir.me.YahH3414,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

13Goהָלוֹךְ֩ha.loKhH1980and tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֨ve.'a.mar.TaH559Hananiahחֲנַנְיָ֜הcha.nan.YahH2608,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;Thou hast brokenשָׁבָ֑רְתָּsha.Va.re.taH7665the yokesמוֹטֹ֥תmo.TotH4133of woodעֵ֖ץ'etzH6086;but thou shalt makeוְעָשִׂ֥יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213for them yokesמֹט֥וֹתmo.TotH4133of ironבַּרְזֶֽל׃bar.ZelH1270.
