2Thus saithאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;Ye have seenרְאִיתֶ֗םre.'i.TemH7200all the evilהָֽרָעָה֙ha.ra.'AhH7451that I have broughtהֵבֵ֙אתִי֙he.Ve.tiH935upon Jerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389,and upon all the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063;and, behold, this dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117they area desolationחָרְבָּה֙cha.re.BahH2723,and no man dwellethיוֹשֵֽׁב׃yo.ShevH3427therein,

5But they hearkenedשָֽׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085not, nor inclinedהִטּ֣וּhi.TuH5186their earאָזְנָ֔ם'a.ze.NamH241to turnלָשׁ֖וּבla.ShuvH7725from their wickednessמֵרָֽעָתָ֑םme.ra.'a.TamH7451,to burn no incenseקַטֵּ֖רka.TerH6999unto otherאֲחֵרִֽים׃'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֥יםle.lo.HimH430.

6Wherefore my furyחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534and mine angerוְאַפִּ֔יve.'a.PiH639was poured forthוַתִּתַּ֤ךְva.ti.TakhH5413,and was kindledוַתִּבְעַר֙va.tiv.'ArH1197in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063and in the streetsוּבְחֻצ֖וֹתu.ve.chu.TzotH2351of Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389;and they are wastedלְחָרְבָּ֥הle.cha.re.BahH2723anddesolateלִשְׁמָמָ֖הlish.ma.MahH8077,as at this dayכַּיּ֥וֹםkai.YomH3117.

10They are not humbledדֻכְּא֔וּdu.ke.'UH1792evenunto this dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117,neither have they fearedיָרְא֗וּya.re.'UH3372,nor walkedהָלְכ֤וּha.le.KhuH1980in my lawבְתֽוֹרָתִי֙ve.to.ra.TiH8451,nor in my statutesוּבְחֻקֹּתַ֔יu.ve.chu.ko.TaiH2708,that I setנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414beforeלִפְנֵיכֶ֖םlif.nei.KhemH6440you and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֥יve.lif.NeiH6440your fathersאֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ ס'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.

12And I will takeוְלָקַחְתִּ֞יve.la.kach.TiH3947the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,that have setשָׂ֨מוּSa.muH7760their facesפְנֵיהֶ֜םfe.nei.HemH6440to goלָב֣וֹאla.Vo'H935into the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַיִם֮mitz.ra.YimH4714to sojournלָג֣וּרla.GurH1481there, and they shall all be consumedוְתַ֨מּוּve.Ta.muH8552, andfallיִפֹּ֗לוּyi.Po.luH5307in the landבְּאֶ֧רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֣יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; they shall evenbe consumedיִתַּ֔מּוּyi.Ta.muH8552by the swordבַּחֶ֤רֶבba.Che.revH2719andby the famineבָּֽרָעָב֙ba.ra.'AvH7458:they shall dieיָמֻ֑תוּya.Mu.tuH4191,from the leastמִקָּטֹן֙mi.ka.TonH6996even unto the greatestגָּד֔וֹלga.DolH1419,by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719and by the famineוּבָרָעָ֖בu.va.ra.'AvH7458:and they shall be an execrationלְאָלָ֣הle.'a.LahH423, andan astonishmentלְשַׁמָּ֔הle.sha.MahH8047,and a curseוְלִקְלָלָ֖הve.lik.la.LahH7045,and a reproachוּלְחֶרְפָּֽה׃u.le.cher.PahH2781.

13For I will punishוּפָקַדְתִּ֗יu.fa.kad.TiH6485them that dwellהַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙hai.yo.she.VimH3427in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,as I have punishedפָּקַ֖דְתִּיpa.Kad.tiH6485Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719,by the famineבָּרָעָ֖בba.ra.'AvH7458,and by the pestilenceוּבַדָּֽבֶר׃u.va.Da.verH1698:

14So that none of the remnantלִשְׁאֵרִ֣יתlish.'e.RitH7611of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,which are goneהַבָּאִ֥יםha.ba.'ImH935into the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to sojournלָגֽוּר־la.gur-H1481there, shall escapeH6412or remainוְשָׂרִיד֙ve.sa.RidH8300,that they should returnוְלָשׁ֣וּב׀ve.la.ShuvH7725into the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,to the which they haveמְנַשְּׂאִ֤יםme.na.se.'ImH5375a desireנַפְשָׁם֙naf.ShamH5315to returnלָשׁוּב֙la.ShuvH7725to dwellלָשֶׁ֣בֶתla.She.vetH3427there: for none shall returnיָשׁ֖וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725but such as shall escapeH6405.

18But since we left offחָדַ֜לְנוּcha.Dal.nuH2308to burn incenseלְקַטֵּ֨רle.ka.TerH6999to the queenלִמְלֶ֧כֶתlim.Le.khetH4446of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֛יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and to pour outוְהַסֵּֽךְ־ve.ha.sekh-H5258drink offeringsנְסָכִ֖יםne.sa.KhimH5262unto her, we have wantedחָסַ֣רְנוּcha.Sar.nuH2637all things,and have been consumedתָּֽמְנוּ׃Ta.me.nuH8552by the swordוּבַחֶ֥רֶבu.va.Che.revH2719and by the famineוּבָרָעָ֖בu.va.ra.'AvH7458.

19And when we burned incenseמְקַטְּרִים֙me.ka.te.RimH6999to the queenלִמְלֶ֣כֶתlim.Le.khetH4446of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and poured outוּלְהַסֵּ֥ךְu.le.ha.SekhH5258drink offeringsנְסָכִ֑יםne.sa.KhimH5262unto her, did we makeעָשִׂ֨ינוּ'a.Si.nuH6213her cakesכַּוָּנִים֙ka.va.NimH3561to worshipלְהַ֣עֲצִבָ֔הle.Ha.'a.tzi.VahH6087her, and pour outוְהַסֵּ֥ךְve.ha.SekhH5258drink offeringsנְסָכִֽים׃ פne.sa.KhimH5262unto her, withoutהֲמִֽבַּלְעֲדֵ֣יha.mi.bal.'a.DeiH1107our menאֲנָשֵׁ֗ינוּ'a.na.Shei.nuH582?

22So that Yhwhיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068couldיוּכַל֩yu.KhalH3201no longer bearלָשֵׂ֗אתla.SetH5375,becauseמִפְּנֵי֙mi.pe.NeiH6440of the evilרֹ֣עַRo.a'H7455of your doingsמַעַלְלֵיכֶ֔םma.'a.lei.KhemH4611, andbecauseמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the abominationsהַתּוֹעֵבֹ֖תha.to.'e.VotH8441which ye have committedעֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם'a.si.TemH6213;therefore is your landאַ֠רְצְכֶם'Ar.tze.khemH776a desolationלְחָרְבָּ֨הle.cha.re.BahH2723,and an astonishmentוּלְשַׁמָּ֧הu.le.sha.MahH8047,and a curseוְלִקְלָלָ֛הve.lik.la.LahH7045,without an inhabitantיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427,as at this dayכְּהַיּ֥וֹםke.hai.YomH3117.

27Behold, I will watchשֹׁקֵ֧דsho.KedH8245over them for evilלְרָעָ֖הle.ra.'AhH7451,and not for goodלְטוֹבָ֑הle.to.VahH2896:and all the menאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063that arein the landבְּאֶֽרֶץ־be.'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall be consumedוְתַמּוּ֩ve.ta.MuH8552by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719and by the famineוּבָרָעָ֖בu.va.ra.'AvH7458,until there be an endכְּלוֹתָֽם׃ke.lo.TamH3615of them.
