2and 1keptG3557 backG3557 some of the 2proceedsG5092 for himself, with his wife’sG1135 3fullG4924 knowledgeG4924, and bringingG5342 a portionG3313 of it, he 4laidG5087 it at the apostles’G652 feetG4228. 3But PeterG4074 saidG3004, “AnaniasG367, whyG1223G5101 has 5SatanG4567 filledG4137 your heartG2588 to lieG5574 6to the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 and to 7keepG3557 backG3557 some of the 8proceedsG5092 of the landG5564? 4While it remainedG3306 unsold, did it not remainG3306 your own? And after it was soldG4097, was it not 9underG1722 your controlG1849? WhyG5101 is it that you have 10conceivedG5087 thisG3778 deedG4229 in your heartG2588? You have not liedG5574 to menG444, but 11to GodG2316.” 5And as he heardG191 theseG3778 wordsG3056, AnaniasG367 12collapsedG4098 and 13diedG1634; and 14greatG3173 fearG5401 cameG1096 overG1909 allG3956 who heardG191 about it. 6The youngG3501 menG3501 gotG450 upG450 and 15coveredG4958 him upG4958, and after carryingG1627 him outG1627, they buriedG2290 him.
