1 Corinthians 10:19-33

19WhatG5101 do I meanG5346 thenG3767? That foodG1494 sacrificedG1494 toG1494 idolsG1494 is anythingG5100, orG2228 1that an idolG1497 is 2anythingG5100? 20No, but I say that things whichG3739 the Gentiles sacrificeG2380, they 3sacrificeG2380 to demonsG1140 and not to GodG2316; and I do not wantG2309 you to becomeG1096 partnersG2844 with demonsG1140. 214You cannotG1410G3756 drinkG4095 the cupG4221 of the LordG2962 and the cupG4221 of demonsG1140; you cannotG1410G3756 partakeG3348 of the tableG5132 of the LordG2962 and 5the tableG5132 of demonsG1140. 22OrG2228 do we 6provokeG3863 the LordG2962 toG3863 jealousyG3863? We are not 7strongerG2478 than He, are we?

238AllG3956 thingsG3956 are permittedG1832, but not allG3956 thingsG3956 areG4851 ofG4851 benefitG4851. AllG3956 thingsG3956 are permittedG1832, but not allG3956 thingsG3956 910buildG3618 people upG3618. 24NoG3367 oneG3367 is to 11seekG2212 his ownG1438 advantage, butG235 ratherG235 that of his 12neighborG2087. 2513EatG2068 anythingG3956 that is soldG4453 in the meatG3111 marketG3111 withoutG3367 askingG350 questionsG350, for the sakeG1223 of conscienceG4893; 2614for the earthG1093 is the Lord’sG2962, and 15allG4138 it containsG4138. 27IfG1487 16oneG5100 of the unbelieversG571 invitesG2564 you and you wantG2309 to goG4198, 17eatG2068 anythingG3956 that is setG3908 beforeG3908 you withoutG3367 askingG350 questionsG350, for the sakeG1223 of conscienceG4893. 28But 18ifG1437 anyoneG5100 saysG3004 to you, “ThisG3778 is meatG2410 sacrificedG2410 toG2410 idolsG2410,” do not eatG2068 it, for the sakeG1223 of that oneG1565 who informedG3377 you and for the sake of conscienceG4893; 29NowG1161 by “conscienceG4893” I do not meanG3004 your ownG1438, but the otherG2087 person’sG2087; for 19whyG2443G5101 is my freedomG1657 judgedG2919 by another’sG243 conscienceG4893? 30IfG1487 I partakeG3348 with thankfulnessG5485, 20whyG5101 am I slanderedG987 aboutG5228 that for whichG3739 I 21giveG2168 thanksG2168?

31ThereforeG3767, whetherG1535 you eatG2068 orG1535 drinkG4095, orG1535 22whateverG5100 you doG4160, doG4160 allG3956 thingsG3956 for the gloryG1391 of GodG2316. 3223DoG1096 notG677 offendG677 JewsG2453 orG2532 GreeksG1672, orG2532 24the churchG1577 of GodG2316; 33justG2531 asG2531 I alsoG2532 25pleaseG700 everyoneG3956 in allG3956 thingsG3956, 26not seekingG2212 my ownG1683 benefitG4851 but the benefit of the manyG4183, 27soG2443 thatG2443 they may be savedG4982.
