2“Speakדַּבֵּ֞רda.BerH1696to the sonsבְּנֵ֤יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘Whenכִּ֤יkiH3588you comeתָבֹ֙אוּ֙ta.Vo.'uH935into the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I am going to giveנֹתֵ֣ןno.TenH5414you, then the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776shall haveוְשָׁבְתָ֣הve.shav.TahH7673a Sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

3Forsixשֵׁ֤שׁsheshH8337yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141you shall sowתִּזְרַ֣עtiz.Ra'H2232your fieldשָׂדֶ֔ךָsa.De.khaH7704,and for sixוְשֵׁ֥שׁve.SheshH8337yearsשָׁנִ֖יםsha.NimH8141you shall pruneתִּזְמֹ֣רtiz.MorH2168your vineyardכַּרְמֶ֑ךָkar.Me.khaH3754and gatherוְאָסַפְתָּ֖ve.'a.saf.TaH622inH622its produceתְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃te.vu.'a.TahH8393,

4but duringthe seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֗תha.she.vi.'ItH7637yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֣הu.va.sha.NahH8141the landלָאָ֔רֶץla.'A.retzH776shall haveיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961a Sabbathשַׁבַּ֤תsha.BatH7676restשַׁבָּתוֹן֙sha.ba.tOnH7677,a Sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676to the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068;you shall not sowתִזְרָ֔עtiz.Ra'H2232your fieldשָֽׂדְךָ֙sa.de.KhaH7704norH3808pruneתִזְמֹֽר׃tiz.MorH2168your vineyardוְכַרְמְךָ֖ve.khar.me.KhaH3754.

5You shall not reapתִקְצ֔וֹרtik.TzorH7114your harvest’sקְצִֽירְךָ֙ke.tzi.re.ChaH7105aftergrowthסְפִ֤יחַse.Fi.achH5599,and you shall not gatherתִבְצֹ֑רtiv.TzorH1219your grapesעִנְּבֵ֥י'i.ne.VeiH6025of untrimmedנְזִירֶ֖ךָne.zi.Re.khaH5139vinesH5139;the landלָאָֽרֶץ׃la.'A.retzH776shall haveיִהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961a sabbaticalשַׁבָּת֖וֹןsha.ba.TonH7677yearשְׁנַ֥תshe.NatH8141.

6All ofyou shall haveוְ֠הָיְתָהVe.hay.tahH1961the Sabbathשַׁבַּ֨תsha.BatH7676produceof the landהָאָ֤רֶץha.'A.retzH776as foodלְאָכְלָ֔הle.'okh.LahH402;for yourself, your maleוּלְעַבְדְּךָ֣u.le.'av.de.KhaH5650and femaleוְלַאֲמָתֶ֑ךָve.la.'a.ma.Te.khaH519slavesH519 H5650,and your hiredH7916workerH7916and your foreignH8453residentוּלְתוֹשָׁ֣בְךָ֔ul.to.Sha.ve.khaH8453,those who liveH1481asH1481strangersH1481among you.

7Even your cattleוְלִ֨בְהֶמְתְּךָ֔ve.Liv.hem.te.khaH929and the animalsH2421that are in your landבְּאַרְצֶ֑ךָbe.'ar.Tze.khaH776shall haveתִּהְיֶ֥הtih.YehH1961allכָל־khol-H3605its produceתְּבוּאָתָ֖הּte.vu.'a.TahH8393to eatלֶאֱכֹֽל׃ סle.'e.KholH398.

8‘You are also to countוְסָפַרְתָּ֣ve.sa.far.TaH5608off sevenשֶׁ֚בַעShe.va'H7651Sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹ֣תsha.be.TotH7676of yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141for yourself, sevenשֶׁ֥בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֑יםpe.'a.MimH6471sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֖יםsha.NimH8141,so that you haveוְהָי֣וּve.ha.YuH1961the timeיְמֵי֙ye.MeiH3117of the sevenשֶׁ֚בַעShe.va'H7651Sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹ֣תsha.be.TotH7676of yearsהַשָּׁנִ֔יםha.sha.NimH8141, that is,forty-nineתֵּ֥שַׁע וְאַרְבָּעִ֖יםTe.sha' ve.'ar.ba.'ImH705 H8672yearsשָׁנָֽה׃sha.NahH8141.

10So you shall consecrateוְקִדַּשְׁתֶּ֗םve.ki.dash.TemH6942the fiftiethהַחֲמִשִּׁים֙ha.cha.mi.ShimH2572yearH8141andproclaimוּקְרָאתֶ֥םu.ke.ra.TemH7121a releaseדְּר֛וֹרde.RorH1865throughout the landבָּאָ֖רֶץba.'A.retzH776to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָyo.she.Vei.haH3427.It shall be a jubileeיוֹבֵ֥לyo.VelH3104for you, andeachאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376of you shall returnוְשַׁבְתֶּ֗םve.shav.TemH7725to his own propertyאֲחֻזָּת֔וֹ'a.chu.za.ToH272,and eachוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376of you shall returnתָּשֻֽׁבוּ׃ta.Shu.vuH7725to his familyמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹmish.pach.ToH4940.

12For it is a jubileeיוֹבֵ֣לyo.VelH3104;it shall be holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944to you. You shall eatתֹּאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398its produceתְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃te.vu.'a.TahH8393from the fieldהַ֨שָּׂדֶ֔הha.sa.DehH7704.
