2“Speakדַּבֵּר֙da.BerH1696to the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֖ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

3You shall not doתַעֲשׂ֑וּta.'a.SuH6213whatH4639isdoneH4639in the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714whereאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you livedיְשַׁבְתֶּם־ye.shav.tem-H3427,norH3808are you to doתַעֲשׂ֔וּta.'a.SuH6213whatH4639isdoneH4639in the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Canaanכְּנַ֡עַןke.Na.'anH3667whereאֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁ֙מָּה֙'a.Sher Sha.mahH834 H8033I am bringingמֵבִ֨יאme.Vi'H935you; you shall not walkתֵלֵֽכוּ׃te.Le.khuH1980in their statutesוּבְחֻקֹּתֵיהֶ֖םu.ve.chu.ko.tei.HemH2708.

4You are to performתַּעֲשׂ֛וּta.'a.SuH6213My judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֧יmish.pa.TaiH4941and keepתִּשְׁמְר֖וּtish.me.RuH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַ֥יchu.ko.TaiH2708,to liveלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980in accord with them;I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

5So you shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤םu.she.mar.TemH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708and My judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֔יmish.pa.TaiH4941,whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834, ifa personהָאָדָ֖םha.'a.DamH120followsיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213them, then he will liveוָחַ֣יva.ChaiH2421by them; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

6‘Noneלֹ֥אlo'H376 H3808of youshall approachתִקְרְב֖וּtik.re.VuH7126anyכָּל־kol-H3605bloodH7607relativeשְׁאֵ֣ר בְּשָׂר֔וֹshe.'Er be.sa.RoH7607 H1320of his to uncoverלְגַלּ֣וֹתle.ga.LotH1540nakednessעֶרְוָ֑ה'er.VahH6172;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

7You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your fatherאָבִ֛יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1,that is, the nakednessוְעֶרְוַ֥תve.'er.VatH6172of your motherאִמְּךָ֖'i.me.KhaH517.She is your motherאִמְּךָ֣'i.me.KhaH517;you are not to uncoverתְגַלֶּ֖הte.ga.LehH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ ס'er.va.TahH6172.

8You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1wifeאֵֽשֶׁת־'e.shet-H802;it is your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172.

9As forthe nakednessעֶרְוַ֨ת'er.VatH6172of your sisterאֲחֽוֹתְךָ֤'a.chot.KhaH269, eitheryour father’sאָבִ֙יךָ֙'a.Vi.khaH1daughterבַת־vat-H1323orא֣וֹ'oH176your mother’sאִמֶּ֔ךָ'i.Me.khaH517daughterבַת־vat-H1323, whetherbornמוֹלֶ֣דֶתmo.Le.detH4138in the householdבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004orא֖וֹ'oH176bornמוֹלֶ֣דֶתmo.Le.detH4138outsideח֑וּץChutzH2351the household,you shall not uncoverתְגַלֶּ֖הte.ga.LehH1540their nakednessעֶרְוָתָֽן׃ ס'er.va.TanH6172.

10The nakednessעֶרְוַ֤ת'er.VatH6172of your son’sבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121daughterבַּת־bat-H1323orא֣וֹ'oH176your daughter’sבַֽת־vat-H1323daughterבִּתְּךָ֔bi.te.KhaH1323,their nakednessעֶרְוָתָ֑ן'er.va.TanH6172you shall not uncoverתְגַלֶּ֖הte.ga.LehH1540; fortheir nakednessעֶרְוָתְךָ֖'er.va.te.KhaH6172is yours.

11The nakednessעֶרְוַ֨ת'er.VatH6172of your father’sאָבִ֙יךָ֙'a.Vi.khaH1wife’sאֵ֤שֶׁת'E.shetH802daughterבַּת־bat-H1323,bornמוֹלֶ֣דֶתmo.Le.detH4138to your fatherאָבִ֔יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1,she is your sisterאֲחוֹתְךָ֖'a.chot.KhaH269;you shall not uncoverתְגַלֶּ֖הte.ga.LehH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ ס'er.va.TahH6172.

12You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1sisterאֲחוֹת־'a.chot-H269;she is your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1bloodH7607relativeשְׁאֵ֥רshe.'ErH7607.

13You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your mother’sאִמְּךָ֖'i.me.KhaH517sisterאֲחֽוֹת־'a.chot-H269,for she is your mother’sאִמְּךָ֖'i.me.KhaH517bloodH7607relativeשְׁאֵ֥רshe.'ErH7607.

14You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your father’sאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1brotherאֲחִֽי־'a.chi-H251.You shall not approachתִקְרָ֔בtik.RavH7126his wifeאִשְׁתּוֹ֙'ish.ToH802;she is your auntדֹּדָֽתְךָ֖do.da.te.KhaH1733.

15You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your daughter-in-lawכַּלָּֽתְךָ֖ka.la.te.KhaH3618.She is your son’sבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121wifeאֵ֤שֶׁת'E.shetH802;you shall not uncoverתְגַלֶּ֖הte.ga.LehH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ ס'er.va.TahH6172.

16You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of your brother’sאָחִ֖יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251wifeאֵֽשֶׁת־'e.shet-H802;it is your brother’sאָחִ֖יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172.

17You shall not uncoverתְגַלֵּ֑הte.ga.LehH1540the nakednessעֶרְוַ֥ת'er.VatH6172of a womanאִשָּׁ֛ה'i.ShahH802and of her daughterוּבִתָּ֖הּu.vi.TahH1323,norH3808shall you takeתִקַּח֙ti.KachH3947her son’sבְּנָ֞הּbe.NahH1121daughterבַּת־bat-H1323or her daughter’sבַּת־bat-H1323daughterבִּתָּ֗הּbi.TahH1323,to uncoverלְגַלּ֣וֹתle.ga.LotH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָ֔הּ'er.va.TahH6172;they are bloodH7607relativesH7607.It is an outrageousH2154sinH2154.

18And you shall notmarryתִקָּ֑חti.KachH3947a womanוְאִשָּׁ֥הve.'i.ShahH802inH413additionH413toH413her sisterאֲחֹתָ֖הּ'a.cho.TahH269as a secondH6887wifeH6887while she is aliveH2425,to uncoverלְגַלּ֧וֹתle.ga.LotH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָ֛הּ'er.va.TahH6172.

19‘Also you shall not approachתִקְרַ֔בtik.RavH7126a womanאִשָּׁ֖ה'i.ShahH802to uncoverלְגַלּ֖וֹתle.ga.LotH1540her nakednessעֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃'er.va.TahH6172during hermenstrualבְּנִדַּ֣תbe.ni.DatH5079impurityטֻמְאָתָ֑הּtum.'a.TahH2932.

20Andyou shall not haveתִתֵּ֥ןti.TenH5414sexualלְזָ֑רַעle.Za.ra'H2233intercourseשְׁכָבְתְּךָ֖she.kha.ve.te.KhaH7903with your neighbor’sעֲמִֽיתְךָ֔'a.mi.te.KhaH5997wifeאֵ֙שֶׁת֙'e.shetH802,to be defiledלְטָמְאָה־le.ta.me.'ah-H2930with her.

21You shall not giveתִתֵּ֖ןti.TenH5414anyH4480of your childrenוּמִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֥u.mi.zar.'a.KhaH2233toofferלְהַעֲבִ֣ירle.ha.'a.VirH5674them to Molechלַמֹּ֑לֶךְla.Mo.lekhH4432,norH3808shall youprofaneH2455the nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

22You shall not sleepH7901with a maleזָכָ֔רza.KharH2145asone sleepsH7901with a femaleאִשָּׁ֑ה'i.ShahH802;it is an abominationתּוֹעֵבָ֖הto.'e.VahH8441.

23Also you shall not haveH5414 H7903sexualH5414 H7903intercourseH5414 H7903with anyוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605animalבְּהֵמָ֛הbe.he.MahH929to be defiledלְטָמְאָה־le.ta.me.'ah-H2930with it, norH3808shall anyH802womanוְאִשָּׁ֗הve.'i.ShahH802standתַעֲמֹ֞דta.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֧יlif.NeiH6440an animalבְהֵמָ֛הve.he.MahH929tomateלְרִבְעָ֖הּle.riv.'AhH7250with it; it is a perversionתֶּ֥בֶלTe.velH8397.

24‘Do not defileH2930yourselves by anyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605of theseH428thingsאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428;for by allבְכָל־ve.khol-H3605theseH428thingsאֵ֙לֶּה֙'e.lehH428the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I am drivingH7971outH7971from you have becomeH2930defiledH2930.

25For the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776has becomeH2930defiledH2930,therefore I have broughtוָאֶפְקֹ֥דva.'ef.KodH6485its punishmentעֲוֹנָ֖הּ'a.vo.NahH5771upon it, so the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776has vomitedH7006outH7006its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃yo.she.Vei.haH3427.

26But as for you, you are to keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣םu.she.mar.TemH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708and My judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֔יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and you shall not doתַעֲשׂ֔וּta.'a.SuH6213anyמִכֹּ֥לmi.KolH4480 H3605of theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428abominationsהַתּוֹעֵבֹ֖תha.to.'e.VotH8441, neitherthe nativeהָֽאֶזְרָ֔חha.'ez.RachH249,nor the strangerוְהַגֵּ֖רve.ha.GerH1616who residesהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃be.tokh.KhemH8432you

27(for the peopleH376of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834were therebeforeלִפְנֵיכֶ֑םlif.nei.KhemH6440you didעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֔לha.'ElH411abominationsהַתּוֹעֵבֹ֣תha.to.'e.VotH8441,and the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776has becomeH2930defiledH2930),

28so that the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776will not vomitH7006you outH7006should you defileבְּטַֽמַּאֲכֶ֖םbe.ta.ma.'a.KhemH2930it, as it has vomitedH7006outH7006the nationהַגּ֖וֹיha.GoyH1471whichH834was therebeforeלִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃lif.nei.KhemH6440you.

29For whoeverכָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣רkol- 'a.SherH3605 H834doesיַעֲשֶׂ֔הya.'a.SehH6213anyמִכֹּ֥לmi.KolH4480 H3605of theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428abominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441,those personsהַנְּפָשׁ֥וֹתha.ne.fa.ShotH5315who doהָעֹשֹׂ֖תha.'o.SotH6213soshall be cutוְנִכְרְת֛וּve.nikh.re.TuH3772offH3772from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130their peopleעַמָּֽם׃'a.MamH5971.

30So you are to keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣םu.she.mar.TemH8104yourcommitmentמִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗יmish.mar.TiH4931to Me not to practiceעֲשׂ֜וֹתa.SotH6213anyH4480of the abominableהַתּֽוֹעֵבֹת֙ha.to.'e.VotH8441customsמֵחֻקּ֤וֹתme.chu.KotH2708whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834have been practicedנַעֲשׂ֣וּna.'a.SuH6213beforeלִפְנֵיכֶ֔םlif.nei.KhemH6440you, so that you do not defileתִֽטַּמְּא֖וּti.ta.me.'UH2930yourselves with them;I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ פ'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.’”
