2“Speakדַּבֵּ֞רda.BerH1696to allכָּל־kol-H3605the congregationעֲדַ֧ת'a.DatH5712of the sonsבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֥ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘You shall be holyקְדֹשִׁ֣יםke.do.ShimH6918,for I the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430am holyקָד֔וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918.

3EveryH376oneH376of youshall revereתִּירָ֔אוּti.Ra.'uH3372his motherאִמּ֤וֹ'i.MoH517and his fatherוְאָבִיו֙ve.'a.VivH1,and you shall keepתִּשְׁמֹ֑רוּtish.Mo.ruH8104My Sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676;I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

5‘Now whenוְכִ֧יve.KhiH3588you offerתִזְבְּח֛וּtiz.be.ChuH2076a sacrificeזֶ֥בַחZe.vachH2077of peaceשְׁלָמִ֖יםshe.la.MimH8002offeringsH8002to the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,you shall offerתִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃tiz.ba.Chu.huH2076it so that you may be acceptedלִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖םlir.tzo.ne.KhemH7522.

6It shall be eatenיֵאָכֵ֖לye.'a.KhelH398on the same dayבְּי֧וֹםbe.YomH3117you offerזִבְחֲכֶ֛םziv.cha.KhemH2077it,and on the nextוּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֑תu.mi.mo.cho.RatH4283dayH4283;but what remainsוְהַנּוֹתָר֙ve.ha.no.TarH3498untilעַד־'ad-H5704the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayי֣וֹםYomH3117shall be burnedיִשָּׂרֵֽף׃yi.sa.RefH8313with fireבָּאֵ֖שׁba.'EshH784.

7So ifוְאִ֛םve.'ImH518it is eatenH398atH398allH398on the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,it is uncleanפִּגּ֥וּלpi.GulH6292;it will not be acceptedיֵרָצֶֽה׃ye.ra.TzehH7521.

8And everyone who eatsוְאֹֽכְלָיו֙ve.'o.khe.LavH398it will bearיִשָּׂ֔אyi.Sa'H5375the consequences forhis guiltעֲוֹנ֣וֹa.vo.NoH5771,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588he has profanedחִלֵּ֑לchi.LelH2490the holyקֹ֥דֶשׁKo.deshH6944thingH6944of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068;and that personהַנֶּ֥פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315shall be cutוְנִכְרְתָ֛הve.nikh.re.TahH3772offH3772from his peopleמֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃me.'a.Mei.haH5971.

11‘You shall not stealתִּגְנֹ֑בוּtig.NouH1589,norH3808dealתְשַׁקְּר֖וּte.sha.ke.RuH8266falselyH8266,norH3808lieH8266to oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376anotherבַּעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃ba.'a.mi.ToH5997.

12Andyou shall not swearתִשָּׁבְע֥וּti.sha.ve.'UH7650falselyלַשָּׁ֑קֶרla.Sha.kerH8267by My nameבִשְׁמִ֖יvish.MiH8034, so as toprofaneH2455the nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

13‘You shall not oppressתַעֲשֹׁ֥קta.'a.ShokH6231your neighborרֵֽעֲךָ֖re.'a.KhaH7453,norH3808robתִגְזֹ֑לtig.ZolH1497him.The wagesפְּעֻלַּ֥תpe.'u.LatH6468of a hiredשָׂכִ֛ירsa.KhirH7916workerH7916are not to remainתָלִ֞יןta.LinH3885with you allH3885nightH3885untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningבֹּֽקֶר׃Bo.kerH1242.

14You shall not curseתְקַלֵּ֣לte.ka.LelH7043a personחֵרֵ֔שׁche.ReshH2795who is deafH2795,norH3808putתִתֵּ֖ןti.TenH5414a stumblingמִכְשֹׁ֑לmikh.SholH4383blockH4383beforeוְלִפְנֵ֣יve.lif.NeiH6440a personעִוֵּ֔ר'i.VerH5787who is blindH5787,but you shall revereוְיָרֵ֥אתָve.ya.Re.taH3372your Godמֵּאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָme.'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

15‘You shall not doתַעֲשׂ֥וּta.'a.SuH6213injusticeעָ֙וֶל֙'a.velH5766in judgmentבַּמִּשְׁפָּ֔טba.mish.PatH4941;you shall not showH5375partialityפְנֵי־fe.nei-H5375 H6440to the poorדָ֔לDalH1800norH3808giveH1921preferenceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH1921 H6440to the greatגָד֑וֹלga.DolH1419,but you are to judgeתִּשְׁפֹּ֥טtish.PotH8199your neighborעֲמִיתֶֽךָ׃'a.mi.Te.khaH5997fairlyבְּצֶ֖דֶקbe.Tze.dekH6664.

16You shall not goתֵלֵ֤ךְte.LekhH1980aboutH1980asa slandererרָכִיל֙ra.KhilH7400among your peopleבְּעַמֶּ֔יךָbe.'a.Mei.khaH5971; and you are not tojeopardizeתַעֲמֹ֖ד עַל־ta.'a.Mod 'al-H5975 H5921thelifeדַּ֣םdamH1818of your neighborרֵעֶ֑ךָre.'E.khaH7453.I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

17‘Youshall not hateתִשְׂנָ֥אtis.Na'H8130your fellowH251countrymanH251in your heartבִּלְבָבֶ֑ךָbil.va.Ve.khaH3824; youmay certainlyהוֹכֵ֤חַho.Khe.achH3198rebukeתּוֹכִ֙יחַ֙to.Khi.achH3198your neighborעֲמִיתֶ֔ךָ'a.mi.Te.khaH5997,but you are not to incurתִשָּׂ֥אti.Sa'H5375sinחֵֽטְא׃Chet'H2399becauseעָלָ֖יו'a.LavH5921of him.

19‘You are to keepתִּשְׁמֹרוּ֒tish.mo.RuH8104My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֮chu.ko.TaiH2708.You shall not cross-breedתַרְבִּ֣יעַtar.Bi.a'H7250twoכִּלְאַ֔יִםkil.'A.yimH3610kindsH3610of your cattleבְּהֶמְתְּךָ֙be.hem.te.KhaH929;you shall not sowתִזְרַ֣עtiz.Ra'H2232your fieldשָׂדְךָ֖sa.de.KhaH7704with twoכִּלְאָ֑יִםkil.'A.yimH3610kindsH3610of seed, norH3808wearיַעֲלֶ֖ה עָלֶֽיךָ׃ פya.'a.Leh 'a.Lei.khaH5927 H5921a garmentוּבֶ֤גֶדu.Ve.gedH899of twoכִּלְאַ֙יִם֙kil.'A.yimH3610kindsH3610of materialH8162mixedשַֽׁעַטְנֵ֔זsha.'at.NezH8162togetherH8162.

20‘Now ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588a manוְ֠אִישׁVe.'ishH376hasיִשְׁכַּ֨בyish.KavH7901sexualזֶ֗רַעZe.ra'H2233relationsשִׁכְבַת־shikh.vat-H7902with a womanאִשָּׁ֜ה'i.ShahH802whoוְהִ֤ואve.Hiv'H1931is a slaveשִׁפְחָה֙shif.ChahH8198acquiredנֶחֱרֶ֣פֶתne.che.Re.fetH2778for anothermanלְאִ֔ישׁle.'IshH376,but who has inH6299noH3808wayH6299been redeemedH6299norH3808givenנִתַּן־ni.tan-H5414her freedomחֻפְשָׁ֖הchuf.ShahH2668,there shall be punishmentבִּקֹּ֧רֶתbi.Ko.retH1244; they shall not, however,be putיוּמְת֖וּyu.me.TuH4191toH4191deathH4191,becauseכִּי־ki-H3588she was not freeחֻפָּֽשָׁה׃chu.Pa.shahH2666.

21He shall bringוְהֵבִ֤יאve.he.Vi'H935his guiltאֲשָׁמוֹ֙'a.sha.MoH817offeringאָשָֽׁם׃'a.ShamH817to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068to the doorwayפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,a ramאֵ֖יל'eilH352as a guiltH817offeringH817.

22The priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548shall also makeוְכִפֶּר֩ve.khi.PerH3722atonementH3722for him with the ramבְּאֵ֤ילbe.'EilH352of the guiltהָֽאָשָׁם֙ha.'a.ShamH817offeringH817beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068for his sinחַטָּאת֖וֹcha.ta.ToH2403whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he has committedחָטָ֑אcha.Ta'H2398,and the sinמֵחַטָּאת֖וֹme.cha.ta.ToH2403whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834he has committedחָטָֽא׃ פcha.Ta'H2398will be forgivenוְנִסְלַ֣חve.nis.LachH5545him.

23‘Now whenוְכִי־ve.khi-H3588you enterתָבֹ֣אוּta.Vo.'uH935the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776and plantוּנְטַעְתֶּם֙u.ne.ta'.TemH5193allכָּל־kol-H3605kinds of treesעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086for foodמַאֲכָ֔לma.'a.KhalH3978,then you shall countוַעֲרַלְתֶּ֥םva.'a.ral.TemH6188their fruitפִּרְי֑וֹpir.YoH6529asforbiddenעָרְלָת֖וֹa.re.la.ToH6190.For threeשָׁלֹ֣שׁsha.LoshH7969yearsשָׁנִ֗יםsha.NimH8141it shall beforbiddenעֲרֵלִ֖ים'a.re.LimH6189to you; itshall not be eatenיֵאָכֵֽל׃ye.'a.KhelH398.

24And in the fourthהָרְבִיעִ֔תha.re.vi.'ItH7243yearוּבַשָּׁנָה֙u.va.sha.NahH8141allכָּל־kol-H3605its fruitפִּרְי֑וֹpir.YoH6529shall be holyקֹ֥דֶשׁKo.deshH6944,an offering of praiseהִלּוּלִ֖יםhi.lu.LimH1974to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

25But in the fifthהַחֲמִישִׁ֗תha.cha.mi.ShitH2549yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֣הu.va.sha.NahH8141you shall eatתֹּֽאכְלוּ֙to.khe.LuH398its fruitפִּרְי֔וֹpir.YoH6529,so that its yieldתְּבוּאָת֑וֹte.vu.'a.ToH8393may increaseלְהוֹסִ֥יףle.ho.SifH3254for you; I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

26‘You shall not eatתֹאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398any meatwith the bloodהַדָּ֑םha.DamH1818.You shall not practiceH5172divinationתְנַחֲשׁ֖וּte.na.cha.ShuH5172nor soothsayingתְעוֹנֵֽנוּ׃te.'o.Ne.nuH6049.

27You shall not roundתַקִּ֔פוּta.Ki.fuH5362offH5362thehairlineפְּאַ֖תpe.'AtH6285of your headsרֹאשְׁכֶ֑םrosh.KhemH7218,norH3808trimתַשְׁחִ֔יתtash.ChitH7843the edgesפְּאַ֥תpe.'AtH6285of your beardזְקָנֶֽךָ׃ze.ka.Ne.chaH2206.

28You shall not makeתִתְּנוּ֙ti.te.NuH5414any cutsוְשֶׂ֣רֶטve.Se.retH8296in yourbodyבִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֔םbiv.sar.KhemH1320for thedeadלָנֶ֗פֶשׁla.Ne.feshH5315,norH3808makeתִתְּנ֖וּti.te.NuH5414any tattooקַֽעֲקַ֔עka.'a.Ka'H3793 H7085marksH3793on yourselves: I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

29‘Do not profaneH2455your daughterבִּתְּךָ֖bi.te.KhaH1323by makingH2181her a prostituteH2181,so that the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776does not fallH2181intoH2181prostitutionH2181,and the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776does notbecomeH4390fullוּמָלְאָ֥הu.mal.'AhH4390of outrageousH2154sinH2154.

30You shallkeepתִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּtish.Mo.ruH8104My Sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹתַ֣יsha.be.to.TaiH7676andrevereתִּירָ֑אוּti.Ra.'uH3372My sanctuaryוּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖יu.mik.da.ShiH4720;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

31‘Do not turnתִּפְנ֤וּtif.NuH6437tomediumsהָאֹבֹת֙ha.'o.VotH178or spiritistsהַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔יםhai.yi.de.'o.NimH3049;do not seekתְּבַקְשׁ֖וּte.vak.ShuH1245them outH1245to be defiledלְטָמְאָ֣הle.ta.me.'AhH2930by them. I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

32‘You shall standH6965upH6965in the presenceמִפְּנֵ֤יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the grayheadedשֵׂיבָה֙sei.VahH7872and honorוְהָדַרְתָּ֖ve.ha.dar.TaH1921eldersפְּנֵ֣י זָקֵ֑ןpe.Nei za.KenH6440 H2205, and you shallfearוְיָרֵ֥אתָve.ya.Re.taH3372your Godמֵּאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָme.'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

33‘Whenוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588a strangerגֵּ֖רgerH1616residesיָג֧וּרya.GurH1481with you in your landבְּאַרְצְכֶ֑םbe.'ar.tze.KhemH776, you shall notdoH3238him wrongH3238.

36You shall haveיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961accurateצֶ֣דֶקTze.dekH6664balancesמֹ֧אזְנֵיMoz.neiH3976,accurateצֶ֗דֶקTze.dekH6664weightsאַבְנֵי־'av.nei-H68,an accurateצֶ֛דֶקTze.dekH6664ephahאֵ֥יפַת'Ei.fatH374,and an accurateצֶ֖דֶקTze.dekH6664hinוְהִ֥יןve.HinH1969;I am the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834broughtH3318you outH3318from the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

37So you shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤םu.she.mar.TemH8104allכָּל־kol-H3605My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708and allכָּל־kol-H3605My ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֔יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and doוַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖םva.'a.si.TemH6213them; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.’”
