2“Tellדַּבֵּ֨רda.BerH1696Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsבָּנָ֗יוba.NavH1121to beH5144carefulH5144with the holyמִקָּדְשֵׁ֣יmi.ka.de.SheiH6944giftsof the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834they dedicateמַקְדִּשִׁ֛יםmak.di.ShimH6942to Me, so as not to profaneיְחַלְּל֖וּye.cha.le.LuH2490My holyקָדְשִׁ֑יkod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

3Sayאֱמֹ֣ר'e.MorH559to them, ‘Anyכָּל־kol-H3605manאִ֣ישׁ׀'ishH376amongH4480allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605yourdescendantsזַרְעֲכֶ֗םzar.'a.KhemH2233throughout your generationsלְדֹרֹ֨תֵיכֶ֜םle.do.Ro.tei.KhemH1755whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834approachesיִקְרַ֣בyik.RavH7126the holyהַקֳּדָשִׁים֙ha.ko.da.ShimH6944giftswhichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478consecrateיַקְדִּ֤ישׁוּyak.Di.shuH6942to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,while he has an uncleannessוְטֻמְאָת֖וֹve.tum.'a.ToH2932,that personהַנֶּ֧פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315shall be cutוְנִכְרְתָ֞הve.nikh.re.TahH3772offH3772fromH4480My presenceמִלְּפָנַ֖יmi.le.fa.NaiH6440;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

4Noאִ֣ישׁ לֹ֣א'ish lo'H376 H3808manאִ֞ישׁ'ishH376of thedescendantsמִזֶּ֣רַעmi.Ze.ra'H2233of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֗ן'a.ha.RonH175,whoוְה֤וּאve.Hu'H1931hasleprosyצָר֙וּעַ֙tza.Ru.a'H6879orא֣וֹ'oH176has a dischargeזָ֔בZavH2100,may eatיֹאכַ֔לyo.KhalH398of the holyבַּקֳּדָשִׁים֙ba.ko.da.ShimH6944giftsuntilעַ֖ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר'ad 'a.SherH5704 H834he isH2891cleanH2891.And one who touchesוְהַנֹּגֵ֙עַ֙ve.ha.no.Ge.a'H5060anythingבְּכָל־be.kholH3605made uncleanטְמֵא־te.me'-H2931by a corpseנֶ֔פֶשׁNe.feshH5315,orא֣וֹ'oH176a manאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834hasH3318a seminalזָֽרַע׃Za.ra'H7902 H2233emissionH3318 H7902,

5orאוֹ־'ov-H176a manאִישׁ֙'ishH376whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834touchesיִגַּ֔עyi.Ga'H5060anyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605swarmingH8318thingsשֶׁ֖רֶץShe.retzH8318by whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he is madeH2930uncleanיִטְמָא־yit.ma'-H2930,orא֤וֹ'oH176touchesanyH120personH120by whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he is madeH2930uncleanיִטְמָא־yit.ma'-H2930,whateverלְכֹ֖לle.KholH3605his uncleannessטֻמְאָתֽוֹ׃tum.'a.ToH2932;

6apersonנֶ֚פֶשׁNe.feshH5315whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834touchesתִּגַּע־ti.ga'-H5060any such thing shall beH2930uncleanוְטָמְאָ֖הve.ta.me.'AhH2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָ֑רֶבha.'A.revH6153,and shall not eatיֹאכַל֙yo.KhalH398of the holyהַקֳּדָשִׁ֔יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944giftsunlessכִּ֛י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518he has bathedרָחַ֥ץra.ChatzH7364hisbodyבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320in waterבַּמָּֽיִם׃ba.Ma.yimH4325.

7But when the sunהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121setsוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935,he will beH2891cleanוְטָהֵ֑רve.ta.HerH2891,and afterwardוְאַחַר֙ve.'a.CharH310he may eatיֹאכַ֣לyo.KhalH398of the holyהַקֳּדָשִׁ֔יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944gifts, for it is hisfoodלַחְמ֖וֹlach.MoH3899.

8He shall not eatיֹאכַ֖לyo.KhalH398an animalwhichH5038diesH5038or is tornוּטְרֵפָ֛הu.te.re.FahH2966by animals,becomingלְטָמְאָה־le.ta.me.'ah-H2930uncleanH2930by it; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

9They shall therefore performוְשָׁמְר֣וּve.sha.me.RuH8104theirdutyמִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗יmish.mar.TiH4931to Me, so thatthey do not bearיִשְׂא֤וּyis.'UH5375sinחֵ֔טְאChet'H2399becauseעָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921of it and dieוּמֵ֥תוּu.Me.tuH4191by it becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588they profaneיְחַלְּלֻ֑הוּye.cha.le.Lu.huH2490it; I am the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068who sanctifiesמְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃me.ka.de.ShamH6942them.

10‘NoH3808laymanזָ֖רzarH2114,however, is to eatיֹ֣אכַלYo.khalH398the holyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944gift;a foreignH8453residentתּוֹשַׁ֥בto.ShavH8453with the priestכֹּהֵ֛ןko.HenH3548or a hiredוְשָׂכִ֖ירve.sa.KhirH7916workerH7916shall not eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398the holyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944gift.

11But ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588a priestוְכֹהֵ֗ןve.kho.HenH3548buysיִקְנֶ֥הyik.NehH7069aslaveנֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ne.feshH5315as hispropertyקִנְיַ֣ןkin.YanH7075with his moneyכַּסְפּ֔וֹkas.PoH3701,that personה֖וּאhu'H1931may eatיֹ֣אכַלYo.khalH398of it, and thoseהֵ֖םhemH1992who are bornוִילִ֣ידvi.LidH3211in his houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004may eatיֹאכְל֥וּyo.khe.LuH398of hisfoodבְלַחְמֽוֹ׃ve.lach.MoH3899.

12Ifכִּ֥יkiH3588a priest’sכֹּהֵ֔ןko.HenH3548daughterוּבַת־u.vat-H1323is marriedH802to alaymanזָ֑רZarH2114,she shall not eatתֹאכֵֽל׃to.KhelH398of theofferingבִּתְרוּמַ֥תbit.ru.MatH8641of the holyהַקֳּדָשִׁ֖יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944gifts.

13But ifכִּ֨יkiH3588a priest’sכֹּהֵן֩ko.HenH3548daughterוּבַת־u.vat-H1323becomesתִהְיֶ֜הtih.YehH1961a widowאַלְמָנָ֣ה'al.ma.NahH490or divorcedוּגְרוּשָׁ֗הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644,and hasH369noH369childוְזֶרַע֮ve.ze.Ra'H2233and returnsוְשָׁבָ֞הve.sha.VahH7725to her father’sאָבִ֙יהָ֙'a.Vi.haH1houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004as in her youthכִּנְעוּרֶ֔יהָkin.'u.Rei.haH5271,she may eatתֹּאכֵ֑לto.KhelH398of her father’sאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1foodמִלֶּ֥חֶםmi.Le.chemH3899;but noוְכָל־ לֹא־ve.khol lo'-H3808 H3605laymanזָ֖רzarH2114shall eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398of it.

14Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588,however, someoneוְאִ֕ישׁve.'IshH376eatsיֹאכַ֥לyo.KhalH398a holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944foodunintentionallyבִּשְׁגָגָ֑הbish.ga.GahH7684,then he shall addוְיָסַ֤ףve.ya.SafH3254to it a fifthחֲמִֽשִׁיתוֹ֙cha.mi.shi.ToH2549of it and shall giveוְנָתַ֥ןve.na.TanH5414the holyהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ha.Ko.deshH6944foodto the priestלַכֹּהֵ֖ןla.ko.HenH3548.

15Andthey shall not profaneיְחַלְּל֔וּye.cha.le.LuH2490the holyקָדְשֵׁ֖יka.de.SheiH6944giftsof the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they offerיָרִ֖ימוּya.Ri.muH7311to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068,

16and therebybringוְהִשִּׂ֤יאוּve.hi.Si.'uH5375upon thempunishmentעֲוֹ֣ן'a.VonH5771for guiltאַשְׁמָ֔ה'ash.MahH819by eatingבְּאָכְלָ֖םbe.'a.khe.LamH398their holyקָדְשֵׁיהֶ֑םka.de.shei.HemH6944gifts;for I am the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068who sanctifiesמְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃ פme.ka.de.ShamH6942them.’”

17Then the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18“Speakדַּבֵּ֨רda.BerH1696to Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן'a.ha.RonH175and to his sonsבָּנָ֗יוba.NavH1121,and to allכָּל־kol-H3605the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֖ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘AnyoneH376of the houseמִבֵּ֨יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478or of the strangersהַגֵּ֣רha.GerH1616in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834presentsיַקְרִ֤יבyak.RivH7126his offeringקָרְבָּנוֹ֙ka.re.ba.NoH7133,whether it is anyלְכָל־le.kholH3605of theirvowsנִדְרֵיהֶם֙nid.rei.HemH5088or anyוּלְכָל־u.le.khol-H3605of theirvoluntaryH5071offeringsH5071,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they presentיַקְרִ֥יבוּyak.Ri.vuH7126to the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068as a burntלְעֹלָֽה׃le.'o.LahH5930offeringH5930--

19for you to be acceptedלִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֑םlir.tzo.ne.KhemH7522--it must bea maleזָכָ֔רza.KharH2145withoutH8549defectH8549from the cattleבַּבָּקָ֕רba.ba.KarH1241,the sheepבַּכְּשָׂבִ֖יםba.ke.sa.VimH3775,or the goatsוּבָֽעִזִּֽים׃u.Va.'i.ZimH5795.

20Whateverכֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־kol 'a.Sher-H3605 H834has a defectH4140,you shall not offerתַקְרִ֑יבוּtak.Ri.vuH7126,for it will not be acceptedלְרָצ֖וֹןle.ra.TzonH7522for you.

21Whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588someoneוְאִ֗ישׁve.'IshH376offersיַקְרִ֤יבyak.RivH7126a sacrificeזֶֽבַח־ze.vach-H2077of peaceשְׁלָמִים֙she.la.MimH8002offeringsH8002to the Lordלַיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068to fulfillלְפַלֵּא־le.fa.le'-H6381aH6381specialH6381vowנֶ֙דֶר֙ne.derH5088orא֣וֹ'oH176for avoluntaryH5071offeringלִנְדָבָ֔הlin.da.VahH5071,of the herdבַּבָּקָ֖רba.ba.KarH1241orא֣וֹ'oH176of the flockבַצֹּ֑אןva.TzonH6629,it must be withoutH8549defectH8549to be acceptedלְרָצ֔וֹןle.ra.TzonH7522;there shall be noכָּל־ לֹ֥אkol- lo'H3808 H3605defectH4140in it.

22Those that areblindעַוֶּרֶת֩'a.ve.RetH5788,fracturedH7665,maimedH2782,orH176havea wartיַבֶּ֗לֶתya.Be.letH2990,a festeringH1618rashH1618,orH176scabsיַלֶּ֔פֶתya.Le.fetH3217,you shall not offerתַקְרִ֥יבוּtak.Ri.vuH7126to the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,norH3808makeתִתְּנ֥וּti.te.NuH5414of them an offeringוְאִשֶּׁ֗הve.'i.ShehH801byH801fireH801on the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

23Now as foran oxוְשׁ֥וֹרve.ShorH7794or a lambוָשֶׂ֖הva.SehH7716which has anovergrownשָׂר֣וּעַsa.Ru.a'H8311or stuntedוְקָל֑וּטve.ka.LutH7038member,you may presentתַּעֲשֶׂ֣הta.'a.SehH6213it as avoluntaryH5071offeringנְדָבָה֙ne.da.VahH5071,but for a vowוּלְנֵ֖דֶרu.le.Ne.derH5088it will not be acceptedיֵרָצֶֽה׃ye.ra.TzehH7521.

24Also anything with its testiclessquashedוּמָע֤וּךְu.ma.'UkhH4600,crushedוְכָתוּת֙ve.kha.TutH3807,tornוְנָת֣וּקve.na.TukH5423offH5423,or cutוְכָר֔וּתve.kha.RutH3772offH3772,you shall not offerתַקְרִ֖יבוּtak.Ri.vuH7126to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068, norsacrificeתַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ta.'a.SuH6213in your landוּֽבְאַרְצְכֶ֖םu.ve.'ar.tze.KhemH776,

25norH3808shall you offerתַקְרִ֛יבוּtak.Ri.vuH7126anyמִכָּל־mi.kolH4480 H3605of theseאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428animals takenfrom the handוּמִיַּ֣דu.mi.YadH3027of aforeignerבֶּן־ נֵכָ֗רben- ne.KharH1121 H5236as thefoodלֶ֥חֶםLe.chemH3899of your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430;for their deformityמָשְׁחָתָ֤םma.she.cha.TamH4893is in them, they have an impairmentH4140.They will not be acceptedיֵרָצ֖וּye.ra.TzuH7521for you.’”

26Then the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

27“Whenכִּ֣יkiH3588an oxשׁ֣וֹרShorH7794orאוֹ־'ov-H176a sheepכֶ֤שֶׂבKhe.sevH3775orאוֹ־'ov-H176a goatעֵז֙'ezH5795is bornיִוָּלֵ֔דyi.va.LedH3205, it shallremainוְהָיָ֛הve.ha.YahH1961sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117with its motherאִמּ֑וֹ'i.MoH517,and from the eighthהַשְּׁמִינִי֙ha.she.mi.NiH8066dayוּמִיּ֤וֹםu.mi.YomH3117on it will be consideredH7521acceptableH7521as a sacrificeלְקָרְבַּ֥ןle.kar.BanH7133of an offeringאִשֶּׁ֖ה'i.ShehH801byH801fireH801to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

28But, whetherit is an oxוְשׁ֖וֹרve.ShorH7794orאוֹ־'ov-H176a sheepשֶׂ֑הSehH7716,you shall not slaughterתִשְׁחֲט֖וּtish.cha.TuH7819bothit and its youngבְּנ֔וֹbe.NoH1121in oneאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117.

29Whenוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588you sacrificeתִזְבְּח֥וּtiz.be.ChuH2076a sacrificeזֶֽבַח־ze.vach-H2077of thanksgivingתּוֹדָ֖הto.DahH8426to the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,you shall sacrificeתִּזְבָּֽחוּ׃tiz.Ba.chuH2076it so that you may be acceptedלִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖םlir.tzo.ne.KhemH7522.

30It shall be eatenיֵאָכֵ֔לye.'a.KhelH398on the sameהַהוּא֙ha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֤וֹםbai.YomH3117;you shall leaveתוֹתִ֥ירוּto.Ti.ruH3498noneלֹֽא־lo'-H3808of it untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningבֹּ֑קֶרBo.kerH1242.I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

31So you shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙u.she.mar.TemH8104My commandmentsמִצְוֹתַ֔יmitz.vo.TaiH4687,and doוַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖םva.'a.si.TemH6213them; I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

32“And you shall not profaneתְחַלְּלוּ֙te.cha.le.LuH2490My holyקָדְשִׁ֔יkod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034,but I will be sanctifiedוְנִ֨קְדַּשְׁתִּ֔יve.Nik.dash.TiH6942amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;I am the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068who sanctifiesמְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃me.ka.dish.KhemH6942you,

33who broughtH3318you outH3318from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,to be your Godלֵאלֹהִ֑יםle.lo.HimH430;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.”
