10The Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430hasmultipliedהִרְבָּ֣הhir.BahH7235you, and beholdוְהִנְּכֶ֣םve.hi.ne.KhemH2009,you are this dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117like the starsכְּכוֹכְבֵ֥יke.chokh.VeiH3556of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064in numberלָרֹֽב׃la.RoH7230.

13Obtainהָב֣וּha.VuH3051for yourselves menH376who are wiseחֲכָמִ֧יםcha.kha.MimH2450,discerningוּנְבֹנִ֛יםu.ne.vo.NimH995,and informedוִידֻעִ֖יםvi.du.'ImH3045from your tribesלְשִׁבְטֵיכֶ֑םle.shiv.tei.KhemH7626,and I will appointוַאֲשִׂימֵ֖םva.'a.si.MemH7760them as your headsבְּרָאשֵׁיכֶֽם׃be.ra.shei.KhemH7218.’

14And you answeredוַֽתַּעֲנ֖וּva.ta.'a.NuH6030me and saidוַתֹּ֣אמְר֔וּva.To.me.RuH559, ‘The thingהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.VarH1697whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you have saidדִּבַּ֖רְתָּdi.Bar.taH1696to doלַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃la.'a.SotH6213is goodטֽוֹב־tov-H2896.’

15So I tookוָאֶקַּ֞חva.'e.KachH3947the headsרָאשֵׁ֣יra.SheiH7218of your tribesשִׁבְטֵיכֶ֗םshiv.tei.KhemH7626,wiseחֲכָמִים֙cha.kha.MimH2450and informedוִֽידֻעִ֔יםvi.du.'ImH3045menH376, andappointedוָאֶתֵּ֥ןva.'e.TenH5414them as headsרָאשִׁ֖יםra.ShimH7218overעֲלֵיכֶ֑ם'a.lei.KhemH5921you, commandersH8269of thousandsאֲלָפִ֜ים'a.la.FimH505,hundredsמֵא֗וֹתme.'otH3967,fiftiesחֲמִשִּׁים֙cha.mi.ShimH2572, andtensעֲשָׂרֹ֔ת'a.sa.RotH6235,and officersוְשֹׁטְרִ֖יםve.sho.te.RimH7860for your tribesלְשִׁבְטֵיכֶֽם׃le.shiv.tei.KhemH7626.

16“Then I orderedוָאֲצַוֶּה֙va.'a.tza.VehH6680your judgesשֹׁ֣פְטֵיכֶ֔םsho.fe.tei.KhemH8199at that timeבָּעֵ֥תba.'EtH6256,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘Hearשָׁמֹ֤עַsha.Mo.a'H8085the casesbetweenH996your fellowH251countrymenאֲחֵיכֶם֙'a.chei.KhemH251andjudgeוּשְׁפַטְתֶּ֣םu.she.fa.TemH8199righteouslyצֶ֔דֶקTze.dekH6664betweenH996a personאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376and his fellowH251countrymanאָחִ֖יו'a.ChivH251,or the strangerגֵּרֽוֹ׃ge.RoH1616who is with him.

17You are not toshowH5234partialityH5234 H6440in judgmentבַּמִּשְׁפָּ֗טba.mish.PatH4941;you shall hearתִּשְׁמָע֔וּןtish.ma.'UnH8085the smallכַּקָּטֹ֤ןka.ka.TonH6996and the greatכַּגָּדֹל֙ka.ga.DolH1419alike. You arenot to be afraidתָג֙וּרוּ֙ta.Gu.ruH1481of any personאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376,for the judgmentהַמִּשְׁפָּ֖טha.mish.PatH4941isH7185God’sלֵאלֹהִ֣יםle.lo.HimH430.The caseוְהַדָּבָר֙ve.ha.da.VarH1697that is tooH4480difficultH7185for you, you shall bringתַּקְרִב֥וּןtak.ri.VunH7126to me, and I will hearוּשְׁמַעְתִּֽיו׃u.she.ma'.TivH8085it.’
