Psalms 52:1-9
112WhyH4100 do you 3boastH1984 in evilH7463, O mightyH1368 manH1368? The 4lovingkindnessH2617 of GodH410 endures allH3605 dayH3117 long.2Your tongueH3956 devisesH2803 5destructionH1942, Like a 6sharpH3913 razorH8593, 7O workerH6213 of deceitH7423.3You 8loveH157 evilH7451 moreH4480 thanH4480 goodH2896, 9FalsehoodH8267 moreH4480 thanH4480 speakingH1696 whatH6664 is rightH6664. 10SelahH5542.4You loveH157 allH3605 wordsH1697 that devourH1105, O 11deceitfulH4820 tongueH3956.
512But GodH410 will breakH5422 you downH5422 foreverH5331; He will snatchH2846 you up and 13tearH5255 you awayH5255 from your tentH168, And 14uprootH8327 you from the 15landH776 of the livingH2416. SelahH5542.6The righteousH6662 will 16seeH7200 and fearH3372, And will 17laughH7832 at him, saying,7“BeholdH2009, the manH1397 who would not makeH7760 GodH430 his refugeH4581, But 18trustedH982 in the abundanceH7230 of his richesH6239 And 19was strongH5810 in 20his evil desireH1942.”
8But as for me, I am like a 21greenH7488 oliveH2132 treeH2132 in the houseH1004 of GodH430; I 22trustH982 in the lovingkindnessH2617 of GodH430 foreverH5769 and everH5703.9I will 23giveH3034 You thanksH3034 foreverH5769, becauseH3588 You have doneH6213 it, And I will waitH6960 on Your nameH8034, 24for it is goodH2896, in the presenceH5048 of Your godlyH2623 onesH2623.
