Psalms 38:12-20
12Those who 1seekH1245 my lifeH5315 2layH5367 snaresH5367 for me; And those who 3seekH1875 to injureH7463 me have 4threatenedH1696 destructionH1942, And they 5deviseH1897 treacheryH4820 allH3605 dayH3117 long.
13But I, like a deafH2795 manH2795, do not hearH8085; And I am like a 6muteH483 manH483 who does not openH6605 his mouthH6310.14Yes, I am like a manH376 whoH834 does not hearH8085, And in whose mouthH6310 are noH369 argumentsH8433.15For 7I 8hopeH3176 in You, O LordH3068; You 9will answerH6030, O LordH136 my GodH430.16For I saidH559, “May they not rejoiceH8055 over me, Who, when my footH7272 slipsH4131, 10would magnifyH1431 themselves againstH5921 me.”17For I am 11readyH3559 to fallH6761, And 12my 13sorrowH4341 is continuallyH8548 beforeH5048 me.18For I 1415confessH5046 my iniquityH5771; I am fullH1672 of 16anxietyH1672 becauseH4480 of my sinH2403.19But my 17enemiesH340 are vigorousH2416 and 18strongH6105, And manyH7231 are those who 19hateH8130 me wrongfullyH8267.20And those who 20repayH7999 evilH7463 for goodH2899, They 21opposeH7853 me, becauseH8478 I followH7291 whatH2896 is goodH2896.
