Psalms 31:9-16
9Be graciousH2603 to me, O LordH3068, for 1I am in distressH6887; My 2eyeH5869 is wastedH6244 awayH6244 from griefH3708, 3my soulH5315 and my bodyH990 also.10For my lifeH2425 is spentH3615 with 4sorrowH3015 And my yearsH8141 with sighingH585; My 5strengthH3581 has failedH3782 because of my iniquityH5771, And 6my 7bodyH6106 has wastedH6244 awayH6244.11BecauseH4480 of allH3605 my adversariesH6887, I have becomeH1961 a 8reproachH2781, EspeciallyH3966 to my 9neighborsH7934, And an objectH6343 of dreadH6343 to my acquaintancesH3045; Those who seeH7200 me in the streetH2351 fleeH5074 from me.12I am 10forgottenH7911 as a deadH4191 manH4191, out of mindH3820; I amH1961 like a brokenH6 vesselH3627.13For I have heardH8085 the 1112slanderH1681 of manyH7227, 13TerrorH4032 is on everyH5439 sideH5439; While they 14tookH3245 counselH3245 togetherH3162 againstH5921 me, They 15schemedH2161 to takeH3947 away my lifeH5315.
14But as for me, I trustH982 in You, O LordH3068, I sayH559, “16You are my GodH430.”15My 17timesH6256 are in Your handH3027; 18DeliverH5337 me from the handH3027 of my enemiesH340 and from those who persecuteH7291 me.16Make Your 19faceH6440 to shineH215 upon Your servantH5650; 20SaveH3467 me in Your lovingkindnessH2617.
