37“He who lovesφιλῶνphilōnG5368fatherπατέραpateraG3962orἢēG2228motherμητέραmēteraG3384moreG5228thanG5228Me is not worthyἄξιος,axiosG514of Me; and he who lovesφιλῶνphilōnG5368sonυἱὸνhuionG5207orἢēG2228daughterθυγατέραthugateraG2364moreG5228thanG5228Me is not worthyἄξιος·axiosG514of Me.

38Andhe whoὃςhosG3739does not takeλαμβάνειlambaneiG2983his crossσταυρὸνstauronG4716and followἀκολουθεῖakoloutheiG190afterὀπίσωopisōG3694Me is not worthyἄξιος.axiosG514of Me.

39He who has foundεὑρὼνheurōnG2147hislifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590will loseἀπολέσειapoleseiG622it, and he who has lostἀπολέσαςapolesasG622hislifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590for My sakeἕνεκενhenekenG1752will findεὑρήσειheurēseiG2147it.

40“He who receivesδεχόμενοςdechomenosG1209you receivesδέχεται,dechetaiG1209Me, andhe who receivesδεχόμενοςdechomenosG1209Me receivesδέχεταιdechetaiG1209Him who sentἀποστείλαντάaposteilantaG649Me.
