9Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordיְהֹוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “They willthoroughlyעוֹלֵ֛לo.LelH5953gleanיְעוֹלְל֥וּye.'o.LuH5953as the vineכַגֶּ֖פֶןkha.Ge.fenH1612theremnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;PassH7725your handיָדְךָ֔ya.de.KhaH3027againH7725like a grape gathererכְּבוֹצֵ֖רke.vo.TzerH1219Overעַל־'al-H5921the branchesסַלְסִלּֽוֹת׃sal.si.LotH5552.”

10To whomמִ֨יmiH4310shall I speakאֲדַבְּרָ֤ה'a.da.be.RahH1696and giveH5749warningוְאָעִ֙ידָה֙ve.'a.'I.dahH5749That they may hearוְיִשְׁמָ֔עוּve.yish.Ma.'uH8085?Beholdהִנֵּה֙hi.NehH2009, theirearsאָזְנָ֔ם'a.ze.NamH241areclosedעֲרֵלָ֣ה'a.re.LahH6189And they cannotוְלֹ֥א יוּכְל֖וּve.Lo' yu.khe.LuH3201 H3808listenלְהַקְשִׁ֑יבle.hak.ShivH7181.Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068has becomeהָיָ֥הha.YahH1961a reproachלְחֶרְפָּ֖הle.cher.PahH2781to them;They haveH2654noלֹ֥אlo'H3808delightיַחְפְּצוּ־yach.pe.tzu-H2654in it.

11But I amfullמָלֵ֙אתִי֙ma.Le.tiH4390of the wrathחֲמַ֨תcha.MatH2534of the Lordיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068; I amwearyנִלְאֵ֣יתִיnil.'Ei.tiH3811with holdingהָכִ֔ילha.KhilH3557it in. “Pourשְׁפֹ֤ךְshe.FokhH8210itout on the childrenעוֹלָל֙o.LalH5768in the streetבַּח֔וּץba.ChutzH2351And on thegatheringס֥וֹדSodH5475of youngבַּחוּרִ֖יםba.chu.RimH970menH970togetherH3164;For bothגַם־gam-H1571husbandאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376and wifeאִשָּׁה֙'i.ShahH802shall be takenיִלָּכֵ֔דוּyi.la.Khe.duH3920,The agedזָקֵ֖ןza.KenH2205and the veryH4392 H3117oldH4392 H3117.

12Theirhousesבָֽתֵּיהֶם֙va.tei.HemH1004shall be turnedוְנָסַ֤בּוּve.na.Sa.buH5437overH5437to othersלַאֲחֵרִ֔יםla.'a.che.RimH312,Their fieldsשָׂד֥וֹתsa.DotH7704and their wivesוְנָשִׁ֖יםve.na.ShimH802togetherH3164; For I willstretchאַטֶּ֧ה'a.TehH5186out My handיָדִ֛יya.DiH3027Againstעַל־'al-H5921the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֥יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

13“Forfrom the leastמִקְּטַנָּם֙mi.ke.ta.NamH6996of them even to the greatestגְּדוֹלָ֔םge.do.LamH1419of them,Everyoneכֻּלּ֖וֹku.LoH3605isgreedyבּוֹצֵ֣עַbo.Tze.a'H1214for gainבָּ֑צַעBa.tza'H1215,And from the prophetוּמִנָּבִיא֙u.mi.na.Vi'H5030even to the priestכֹּהֵ֔ןko.HenH3548Everyoneכֻּלּ֖וֹku.LoH3605dealsעֹ֥שֶׂה'O.sehH6213falselyשָּֽׁקֶר׃Sha.kerH8267.

14They havehealedוַֽיְרַפְּא֞וּvay.ra.pe.'UH7495the brokennessשֶׁ֤בֶרShe.verH7667of My peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971superficiallyנְקַלָּ֔הne.ka.LahH7043,Sayingלֵאמֹ֖רle.MorH559, ‘Peaceשָׁל֣וֹם׀sha.LomH7965,peaceשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965,’But thereH369is noH369peaceשָׁלֽוֹם׃sha.LomH7965.

15Were theyashamedהֹבִ֕ישׁוּho.Vi.shuH954becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588of the abominationתוֹעֵבָ֖הto.'e.VahH8441they have doneעָשׂ֑וּ'a.SuH6213?They were not evenגַּם־gam-H1571ashamedבּ֣וֹשׁBo.oshH954at allיֵב֗וֹשׁוּye.Vo.o.shuH954;They did not evenגַּם־gam-H1571knowיָדָ֔עוּya.Da.'uH3045how to blushהַכְלִים֙hakh.LimH3637.Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651they shall fallיִפְּל֧וּyi.pe.LuH5307among those who fallבַנֹּפְלִ֛יםva.no.fe.LimH5307;At the timeבְּעֵת־be.'et-H6256that I punishפְּקַדְתִּ֥יםpe.kad.TimH6485them,They shall be castH3782downH3782,”saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

16Thusכֹּ֣הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068, “Standעִמְדוּ֩'im.DuH5975by the waysדְּרָכִ֨יםde.ra.KhimH1870and seeוּרְא֜וּu.re.'UH7200and askוְשַׁאֲל֣וּ׀ve.sha.'a.LuH7592for theancientעוֹלָ֗םo.LamH5769pathsלִנְתִב֣וֹתlin.ti.VotH5410,Whereאֵי־'ei-H335the goodהַטּוֹב֙ha.tOvH2896wayדֶ֤רֶךְDe.rekhH1870is, and walkוּלְכוּ־u.le.khu-H1980in it; Andyou will findוּמִצְא֥וּu.mitz.'UH4672restמַרְגּ֖וֹעַmar.Go.a'H4771for your soulsלְנַפְשְׁכֶ֑םle.naf.she.KhemH5315.But they saidוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, ‘We will not walkנֵלֵֽךְ׃ne.LekhH1980in it.’

17And I setוַהֲקִמֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965watchmenצֹפִ֔יםtzo.FimH6822overעֲלֵיכֶם֙'a.lei.KhemH5921you, saying, ‘Listenהַקְשִׁ֖יבוּhak.Shi.vuH7181to the soundלְק֣וֹלle.KolH6963of the trumpetשׁוֹפָ֑רsho.FarH7782!’But they saidוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, ‘We will not listenנַקְשִֽׁיב׃nak.ShivH7181.’
