2“Standעֲמֹ֗ד'a.ModH5975in the gateבְּשַׁ֙עַר֙be.Sha.'arH8179of the Lord’sיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004and proclaimוְקָרָ֣אתָve.ka.Ra.taH7121thereשָּׁ֔םShamH8033thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088wordהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֞ve.'a.mar.TaH559, ‘Hearשִׁמְע֣וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,allכָּל־kol-H3605you of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063,who enterהַבָּאִים֙ha.ba.'ImH935by theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428gatesבַּשְּׁעָרִ֣יםba.she.'a.RimH8179to worshipלְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֖תle.hish.ta.cha.VotH7812the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃ סla.Yah.wehH3068!’”

11Hasthisהַזֶּ֛הha.ZehH2088houseהַבַּ֧יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834is calledנִקְרָֽא־nik.ra'-H7121by My nameשְׁמִ֥יshe.MiH8034,becomeהָיָ֨הha.YahH1961adenהַמְעָרַ֣תham.'a.RatH4631of robbersפָּרִצִ֗יםpa.ri.TzimH6530in your sightבְּעֵינֵיכֶ֑םbe.'ei.nei.KhemH5869?Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,I, evenגַּ֧םgamH1571I, have seenרָאִ֖יתִיra.'I.tiH7200it,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

12“But goלְכוּ־le.khu-H1980nowנָ֗אNa'H4994to My placeמְקוֹמִי֙me.ko.MiH4725whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834was inShilohבְּשִׁיל֔וֹbe.shi.LoH7887,whereאֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁ֖ם'a.Sher shamH834 H8033Imade My nameשְׁמִ֛יshe.MiH8034dwellשִׁכַּ֧נְתִּֽיshi.Kan.tiH7931at the firstבָּרִֽאשׁוֹנָ֑הba.ri.sho.NahH7223, andseeוּרְאוּ֙u.re.'UH7200whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I didעָשִׂ֣יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213to it becauseמִפְּנֵ֕יmi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440of the wickednessH7463of My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

13And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258,becauseיַ֧עַןYa.'anH3282you have doneעֲשׂוֹתְכֶ֛ם'a.sot.KhemH6213allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428thingsהַמַּֽעֲשִׂ֥יםha.ma.'a.SimH4639,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “and I spokeוָאֲדַבֵּ֨רva.'a.da.BerH1696to you,risingH7925up earlyהַשְׁכֵּ֤םhash.KemH7925andspeakingוְדַבֵּר֙ve.da.BerH1696,but you did not hearשְׁמַעְתֶּ֔םshe.ma'.TemH8085, and Icalledוָאֶקְרָ֥אva.'ek.Ra'H7121you but you did not answerעֲנִיתֶֽם׃'a.ni.TemH6030,

14therefore, I will doוְעָשִׂ֜יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213to thehouseלַבַּ֣יִת׀la.Ba.yitH1004whichH834is calledנִֽקְרָא־nik.ra'-H7121by My nameשְׁמִ֣יshe.MiH8034,in whichH834you trustבֹּטְחִ֣יםbo.te.ChimH982,and to the placeוְלַ֨מָּק֔וֹםve.La.ma.KomH4725whichH834I gaveנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414you and your fathersוְלַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םve.la.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1, as Ididעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213to Shilohלְשִׁלֽוֹ׃le.shi.LoH7887.

15I willcastוְהִשְׁלַכְתִּ֥יve.hish.lakh.TiH7993you out of My sightפָּנָ֑יpa.NaiH6440,as I have castהִשְׁלַ֙כְתִּי֙hish.Lakh.tiH7993out allכָּל־kol-H3605your brothersאֲחֵיכֶ֔ם'a.chei.KhemH251,allכָּל־kol-H3605theoffspringזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233ofEphraimאֶפְרָֽיִם׃ ס'ef.Ra.yimH669.

16“As for you,do not prayתִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל׀tit.pa.LelH6419for thisהַזֶּ֗הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971,and do not liftתִּשָּׂ֧אti.Sa'H5375up cryרִנָּ֥הri.NahH7440or prayerוּתְפִלָּ֖הu.te.fi.LahH8605for them, and do not intercedeתִּפְגַּע־tif.ga'-H6293with Me; for I do not hearשֹׁמֵ֖עַsho.Me.a'H8085you.

17Do you not seeרֹאֶ֔הro.'EhH7200whatמָ֛הmahH4100they are doingעֹשִׂ֖ים'o.SimH6213in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063and in the streetsוּבְחֻצ֖וֹתu.ve.chu.TzotH2351of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389?

18Thechildrenהַבָּנִ֞יםha.ba.NimH1121gatherמְלַקְּטִ֣יםme.la.ke.TimH3950woodעֵצִ֗ים'e.TzimH6086,and the fathersוְהָֽאָבוֹת֙ve.ha.'a.VotH1kindleמְבַעֲרִ֣יםme.va.'a.RimH1197the fireהָאֵ֔שׁha.'EshH784,and the womenוְהַנָּשִׁ֖יםve.ha.na.ShimH802kneadלָשׁ֣וֹתla.ShotH3888doughבָּצֵ֑קba.TzekH1217to makeלַעֲשׂ֨וֹתla.'a.SotH6213cakesכַּוָּנִ֜יםka.va.NimH3561for the queenלִמְלֶ֣כֶתlim.Le.khetH4446of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֗יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064; and theypourוְהַסֵּ֤ךְve.ha.SekhH5258out drinkנְסָכִים֙ne.sa.KhimH5262offeringsH5262to otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֣יםle.lo.HimH430in orderלְמַ֖עַןle.Ma.'anH4616tospiteהַכְעִסֵֽנִי׃hakh.'i.Se.niH3707Me.

19Do they spiteמַכְעִסִ֖יםmakh.'i.SimH3707Me?” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068. “Is it not themselves they spite, totheir ownH6440shameבֹּ֥שֶׁתBo.shetH1322 H6440?”

20Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651thusכֹּה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֣ר׀'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068, “Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009, Myangerאַפִּ֤י'a.PiH639and My wrathוַֽחֲמָתִי֙va.cha.ma.TiH2534will be pouredנִתֶּ֙כֶת֙ni.Te.khetH5413out on thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,on manהָֽאָדָם֙ha.'a.DamH120and on beastהַבְּהֵמָ֔הha.be.he.MahH929and on thetreesעֵ֥ץ'etzH6086of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704and on the fruitפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of the groundהָֽאֲדָמָ֑הha.'a.da.MahH127;and it will burnוּבָעֲרָ֖הu.va.'a.RahH1197and not be quenchedתִכְבֶּֽה׃ סtikh.BehH3518.”

23But thisהַ֠זֶּהHa.zehH2088iswhatהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697I commandedצִוִּ֨יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680them, sayingלֵאמֹר֙le.MorH559, ‘Obeyשִׁמְע֣וּshim.'UH8085My voiceבְקוֹלִ֔יve.ko.LiH6963, andI will be your Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430,and you will be My peopleלְעָ֑םle.'AmH5971;and you will walkוַהֲלַכְתֶּ֗םva.ha.lakh.TemH1980in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the wayהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I commandאֲצַוֶּ֣ה'a.tza.VehH6680you, that it maybe wellיִיטַ֥בyi.TavH3190with you.’

24Yet theydid not obeyשָֽׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085or inclineהִטּ֣וּhi.TuH5186their earאָזְנָ֔ם'a.ze.NamH241,but walkedוַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙vai.ye.le.KhuH1980in their owncounselsבְּמֹ֣עֵצ֔וֹתbe.Mo.'e.TzotH4156andin the stubbornnessבִּשְׁרִר֖וּתbish.ri.RutH8307of their evilהָרָ֑עha.Ra'H7451heartלִבָּ֣םli.BamH3820, andwentוַיִּהְי֥וּvai.yih.YuH1961backwardלְאָח֖וֹרle.'a.ChorH268and not forwardלְפָנִֽים׃le.fa.NimH6440.

25Sinceלְמִן־le.min-H4480the dayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117that your fathersאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙'a.vo.tei.KhemH1cameיָצְא֤וּya.tze.'UH3318out of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714untilעַ֖ד'adH5704thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117, I havesentוָאֶשְׁלַ֤חva.'esh.LachH7971you allכָּל־kol-H3605My servantsעֲבָדַ֣י'a.va.DaiH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,dailyי֖וֹםYomH3117risingהַשְׁכֵּ֥םhash.KemH7925earlyH7925and sendingוְשָׁלֹֽחַ׃ve.sha.Lo.achH7971them.

26Yet they did not listenשָׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085to Me or inclineהִטּ֖וּhi.TuH5186their earאָזְנָ֑ם'a.ze.NamH241, butstiffenedוַיַּקְשׁוּ֙vai.yak.ShuH7185their neckעָרְפָּ֔ם'a.re.PamH6203; theydid moreH4480evilהֵרֵ֖עוּhe.Re.'uH7489thanH4480their fathersמֵאֲבוֹתָֽם׃me.'a.vo.TamH1.

27“You shallspeakוְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ve.di.bar.TaH1696allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697to them, but they will not listenיִשְׁמְע֖וּyish.me.'UH8085to you; and you shall callוְקָרָ֥אתָve.ka.Ra.taH7121to them, but they willnot answerיַעֲנֽוּכָה׃ya.'a.Nu.khahH6030you.

28You shall sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘Thisזֶ֤הzehH2088is the nationהַגּוֹי֙ha.goyH1471thatdid not obeyשָׁמְע֗וּsha.me.'UH8085the voiceבְּקוֹל֙be.kOlH6963of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהָ֔יו'e.lo.HavH430or acceptלָקְח֖וּla.ke.ChuH3947correctionמוּסָ֑רmu.SarH4148;truthהָֽאֱמוּנָ֔הha.'e.mu.NahH530has perishedאָֽבְדָה֙'a.ve.DahH6and has been cutוְנִכְרְתָ֖הve.nikh.re.TahH3772offH3772from their mouthמִפִּיהֶֽם׃ סmi.pi.HemH6310.
