Israel’s Mourning Turned to Joy

2Thusכֹּ֚הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “The peopleעַ֖ם'amH5971whoH8300survivedH8300the swordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719Foundמָצָ֥אma.Tza'H4672graceחֵן֙chenH2580in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֔רba.mid.BarH4057--Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,when it wentהָל֥וֹךְha.LokhH1980tofindH7280its restלְהַרְגִּיע֖וֹle.har.gi.'OH7280.”

3The Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068appearedנִרְאָ֣הnir.'AhH7200tohim from afarמֵרָח֕וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350, saying, “I havelovedאֲהַבְתִּ֔יךְ'a.hav.TikhH157you with an everlastingעוֹלָם֙o.LamH5769loveוְאַהֲבַ֤תve.'a.ha.VatH160;Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֖ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I have drawnמְשַׁכְתִּ֥יךְme.shakh.TikhH4900you withlovingkindnessחָֽסֶד׃Cha.sedH2617.

11For the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hasransomedפָדָ֥הfa.DahH6299Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290And redeemedוּגְאָל֕וֹu.ge.'a.LoH1350him from the handמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of him whoH2389wasstrongerחָזָ֥קcha.ZakH2389thanמִמֶּֽנּוּ׃mi.Me.nuH4480he.

A New Covenant
