Jeremiah 6:9-17

9ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, “They will 1thoroughlyH5953 gleanH5953 as the vineH1612 the 2remnantH7611 of IsraelH3478; PassH7725 your handH3027 againH7725 like a grape gathererH1219 OverH5921 the branchesH5552.”10To whomH4310 shall I speakH1696 and giveH5749 warningH5749 That they may hearH8085? BeholdH2009, their 3earsH241 are 4closedH6189 And they cannotH3201H3808 listenH7181. BeholdH2009, 5the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 has becomeH1961 a reproachH2781 to them; They haveH2654 noH3808 delightH2654 in it.11But I am 6fullH4390 of the wrathH2534 of the LordH3068; I am 7wearyH3811 with holdingH3557 it in. “8PourH8210 it out on the childrenH5768 in the streetH2351 And on the 9gatheringH5475 of youngH970 menH970 togetherH3164; For bothH1571 husbandH376 and wifeH802 shall be takenH3920, The agedH2205 10and the veryH4392H3117 oldH4392H3117.12Their 11housesH1004 shall be turnedH5437 overH5437 to othersH312, Their fieldsH7704 and their wivesH802 togetherH3164; For I will 12stretchH5186 out My handH3027 AgainstH5921 the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068.13“For 13from the leastH6996 of them even to the greatestH1419 of them, EveryoneH3605 is 14greedyH1214 for gainH1215, And from the prophetH5030 even to the priestH3548 EveryoneH3605 15dealsH6213 falselyH8267.14They have 16healedH7495 the brokennessH7667 of My peopleH5971 superficiallyH7043, SayingH559, ‘PeaceH7965, peaceH7965,’ But thereH369 is noH369 peaceH7965.15Were they 17ashamedH954 becauseH3588 of the abominationH8441 they have doneH6213? They were not evenH1571 ashamedH954 at allH954; They did not evenH1571 knowH3045 how to blushH3637. ThereforeH3651 they shall fallH5307 among those who fallH5307; At the timeH6256 that I punishH6485 them, They shall be castH3782 downH3782,” saysH559 the LordH3068.

16ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, “StandH5975 by the waysH1870 and seeH7200 and askH7592 for the 18ancientH5769 pathsH5410, WhereH335 the goodH2896 wayH1870 is, and walkH1980 in it; And 19you will findH4672 restH4771 for your soulsH5315. But they saidH559, ‘We will not walkH1980 in it.’17And I setH6965 20watchmenH6822 overH5921 you, saying, ‘ListenH7181 to the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782!’ But they saidH559, ‘We will not listenH7181.’
