2“Thusכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, ‘Standעֲמֹד֮'a.ModH5975in the courtבַּחֲצַ֣רba.cha.TzarH2691of the Lord’sיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068houseבֵּית־beit-H1004,and speakוְדִבַּרְתָּ֞ve.di.bar.TaH1696to allכָּל־kol-H3605the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063who havecomeהַבָּאִים֙ha.ba.'ImH935to worshipלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֣תle.hish.ta.cha.VotH7812inthe Lord’sיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068houseבֵּית־beit-H1004allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֔יםha.de.va.RimH1697that I have commandedצִוִּיתִ֖יךָtzi.vi.Ti.khaH6680you to speakלְדַבֵּ֣רle.da.BerH1696to them.Do not omitתִּגְרַ֖עtig.Ra'H1639a wordדָּבָֽר׃da.VarH1697!

3Perhapsאוּלַ֣י'u.LaiH194they will listenיִשְׁמְע֔וּyish.me.'UH8085and everyoneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376will turnוְיָשֻׁ֕בוּve.ya.Shu.vuH7725from his evilH7451wayמִדַּרְכּ֣וֹmi.dar.KoH1870, thatI may repentוְנִחַמְתִּ֣יve.ni.cham.TiH5162of the calamityH7463whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834I am planningחֹשֵׁב֙cho.ShevH2803to doלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213to them becauseמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440of the evilרֹ֥עַRo.a'H7455of their deedsמַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ma.'a.lei.HemH4611.’

4And you will sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘Thusכֹּ֖הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “Ifאִם־'im-H518you will not listenתִשְׁמְעוּ֙tish.me.'UH8085to Me, towalkלָלֶ֙כֶת֙la.Le.khetH1980in My lawבְּת֣וֹרָתִ֔יbe.To.ra.TiH8451whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I have setנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414beforeלִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃lif.nei.KhemH6440you,

9Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069have you prophesiedנִבֵּ֨יתָni.Bei.taH5012in the nameבְשֵׁם־ve.shem-H8034of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, ‘ThisH2088houseהַבַּ֣יִתha.Ba.yitH1004will be like Shilohכְּשִׁלוֹ֙ke.shi.LoH7887and thisH2088cityוְהָעִ֥ירve.ha.'IrH5892will bedesolateתֶּחֱרַ֖בte.che.RavH2717,withoutמֵאֵ֣יןme.'EinH369inhabitantיוֹשֵׁ֑בyo.ShevH3427’?” Andallכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971gatheredוַיִּקָּהֵ֧לvai.yi.ka.HelH6950aboutאֶֽל־'el-H413Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

10When theofficialsשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063heardוַֽיִּשְׁמְע֣וּ׀vai.yish.me.'UH8085theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428thingsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697,they cameוַיַּעֲל֥וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927up from the king’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseמִבֵּית־mi.beit-H1004to the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068and satוַיֵּֽשְׁב֛וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427in theentranceבְּפֶ֥תַחbe.Fe.tachH6607of the Newהֶחָדָֽשׁ׃ סhe.cha.DashH2319Gateשַֽׁעַר־sha.'ar-H8179of the Lord’sיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068house.

11Then the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֤יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the prophetsוְהַנְּבִאִים֙ve.ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030spokeוַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559to the officialsהַשָּׂרִ֔יםha.sa.RimH8269and to allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Adeathמָ֙וֶת֙ma.vetH4194sentenceמִשְׁפַּט־mish.pat-H4941for thisH2088manלָאִ֣ישׁla.'IshH376!For he has prophesiedנִבָּא֙ni.Ba'H5012againstH413thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892as you have heardשְׁמַעְתֶּ֖םshe.ma'.TemH8085in your hearingבְּאָזְנֵיכֶֽם׃be.'a.ze.nei.KhemH241.”

12Then Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙yir.me.Ya.huH3414spokeוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to allכָּל־kol-H3605the officialsהַשָּׂרִ֔יםha.sa.RimH8269and to allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “The Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068sentשְׁלָחַ֗נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971me to prophesyלְהִנָּבֵ֞אle.hi.na.Ve'H5012againstH413thisH2088houseהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004and againstH413thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697that you have heardשְׁמַעְתֶּֽם׃she.ma'.TemH8085.

13Nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258thereforeamendהֵיטִ֤יבוּhei.Ti.vuH3190your waysדַרְכֵיכֶם֙dar.khei.KhemH1870and your deedsוּמַ֣עַלְלֵיכֶ֔םu.Ma.'a.lei.KhemH4611and obeyוְשִׁמְע֕וּve.shim.'UH8085the voiceבְּק֖וֹלbe.KolH6963of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430;and the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068willchangeH5162His mindH5162aboutאֶל־'el-H413the misfortuneH7463whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He has pronouncedדִּבֶּ֖רdi.BerH1696againstעֲלֵיכֶֽם׃'a.lei.KhemH5921you.

14But as for me, beholdH2009,I am in your handsבְיֶדְכֶ֑םve.yed.KhemH3027;doעֲשׂוּ־'a.su-H6213with me as is goodכַּטּ֥וֹבka.TovH2896and rightוְכַיָּשָׁ֖רve.khai.ya.SharH3477in your sightבְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃be.'ei.nei.KhemH5869.

15Onlyאַ֣ךְ׀'akhH389knowיָדֹ֣עַya.Do.a'H3045for certainתֵּדְע֗וּte.de.'UH3045that ifאִם־'im-H518you putמְמִתִ֣יםme.mi.TimH4191me to deathH4191,you will bringנֹתְנִ֣יםno.te.NimH5414innocentנָקִ֗יna.KiH5355bloodדָ֣םdamH1818on yourselves, and on thisH2088cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892and on its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָyo.she.Vei.haH3427;for trulyבֶאֱמֶ֗תve.'e.MetH571the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068has sentשְׁלָחַ֤נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971me to you to speakלְדַבֵּר֙le.da.BerH1696allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵֽלֶּה׃ סha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697in your hearingבְּאָזְנֵיכֶ֔םbe.'a.ze.nei.KhemH241.”
