30Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651heryoungבַחוּרֶ֖יהָva.chu.Rei.haH970menH970will fallיִפְּל֥וּyi.pe.LuH5307in her streetsבִּרְחֹבֹתֶ֑יהָbir.cho.Tei.haH7339,And allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605her menH376of warמִלְחַמְתָּ֥הּmil.cham.TahH4421will besilencedיִדַּ֛מּוּyi.Da.muH1826in that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

31“BeholdH2009,I am againstאֵלֶ֙יךָ֙'e.Lei.khaH413you, Oarrogantזָד֔וֹןza.DonH2087one,”Declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068of hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “For your dayיוֹמְךָ֖yom.KhaH3117has comeבָּ֥אba'H935,The timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256when I will punishפְּקַדְתִּֽיךָ׃pe.kad.Ti.chaH6485you.

32Thearrogantזָדוֹן֙za.dOnH2087one will stumbleוְכָשַׁ֤לve.kha.ShalH3782and fallוְנָפַ֔לve.na.FalH5307With noH369oneH369to raiseמֵקִ֑יםme.KimH6965him up; And I willsetוְהִצַּ֤תִּיve.hi.Tza.tiH3341fireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784to his citiesבְּעָרָ֔יוbe.'a.RavH5892And it will devourוְאָכְלָ֖הve.'a.khe.LahH398allכָּל־kol-H3605his environsסְבִיבֹתָֽיו׃ סse.vi.vo.TavH5439.”

33Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “The sonsבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֥לYis.ra.'ElH3478are oppressedעֲשׁוּקִ֛ים'a.shu.KimH6231,And the sonsוּבְנֵי־u.ve.nei-H1121of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063as wellH3164; Andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605who tookH7617them captiveH7617have heldהֶחֱזִ֣יקוּhe.che.Zi.kuH2388them fastH2388,They have refusedמֵאֲנ֖וּme.'a.NuH3985to letH7971them goשַׁלְּחָֽם׃sha.le.ChamH7971.

34TheirRedeemerגֹּאֲלָ֣ם׀go.'a.LamH1350is strongחָזָ֗קcha.ZakH2389,the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635is His nameשְׁמ֔וֹshe.MoH8034;He will vigorouslyרִ֥יבrivH7378pleadיָרִ֖יבya.RivH7378their caseרִיבָ֑םri.VamH7379Soלְמַ֙עַן֙le.Ma.'anH4616that He maybringH7280restהִרְגִּ֣יעַhir.Gi.a'H7280tothe earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,But turmoilוְהִרְגִּ֖יזve.hir.GizH7264to the inhabitantsלְיֹשְׁבֵ֥יle.yo.she.VeiH3427of Babylonבָבֶֽל׃va.VelH894.

38Adroughtחֹ֥רֶבCho.revH2721on her watersמֵימֶ֖יהָmei.Mei.haH4325,and they will be driedוְיָבֵ֑שׁוּve.ya.Ve.shuH3001up!For it is a landאֶ֤רֶץ'E.retzH776ofidolsפְּסִלִים֙pe.si.LimH6456,And they are madיִתְהֹלָֽלוּ׃yit.ho.La.luH1984over fearsomeוּבָאֵימִ֖יםu.va.'ei.MimH367idols.

39“Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651thedesertH6716creaturesH6716will liveיֵשְׁב֤וּye.she.VuH3427therealongאֶת־'et-H854with the jackalsאִיִּ֔ים'i.YimH338;The ostrichesיַֽעֲנָ֑הya.'a.NahH3284also will liveוְיָ֥שְׁבוּve.Ya.she.vuH3427in it, And it willneverH3808againעוֹד֙'OdH5750be inhabitedתֵשֵׁ֥בte.ShevH3427Or dweltתִשְׁכּ֖וֹןtish.KonH7931in from generationדּ֥וֹרDorH1755to generationוָדֽוֹר׃va.DorH1755.
