24Damascusדַמֶּ֛שֶׂקda.Me.sekH1834has becomeH7503helplessH7503;She has turnedהִפְנְתָ֥הhif.ne.TahH6437away to fleeלָנ֖וּסla.NusH5127,And panicוְרֶ֣טֶט׀ve.Re.tetH7374has grippedהֶחֱזִ֑יקָהhe.che.Zi.kahH2388her;Distressצָרָ֧הtza.RahH6869and pangsוַחֲבָלִ֛יםva.cha.va.LimH2256have takenH270holdH270of herLike a woman in childbirthכַּיּוֹלֵדָֽה׃kai.yo.le.DahH3205.

25Howאֵ֥יךְ'eikhH349thecityעִ֣יר'irH5892of praiseתְּהִלָּ֑תte.hi.lahH8416has not been desertedעֻזְּבָ֖ה'u.ze.VahH5800,The townקִרְיַ֖תkir.YatH7151of My joyמְשׂוֹשִֽׂי׃me.so.SiH4885!

26Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651, heryoungבַחוּרֶ֖יהָva.chu.Rei.haH970menH970will fallיִפְּל֥וּyi.pe.LuH5307in her streetsבִּרְחֹבֹתֶ֑יהָbir.cho.Tei.haH7339,And allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the menH376of warהַמִּלְחָמָ֤הha.mil.cha.MahH4421will besilencedיִדַּ֙מּוּ֙yi.Da.muH1826in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

27“I willsetוְהִצַּ֥תִּיve.hi.Tza.tiH3341fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784to the wallבְּחוֹמַ֣תbe.cho.MatH2346of Damascusדַּמָּ֑שֶׂקda.Ma.sekH1834,And it will devourוְאָכְלָ֖הve.'a.khe.LahH398thefortifiedH759towersH759ofBen-hadadH1130.”

28ConcerningKedarלְקֵדָ֣ר׀le.ke.DarH6938and the kingdomsוּֽלְמַמְלְכ֣וֹתu.le.mam.le.KhotH4467of Hazorחָצ֗וֹרcha.TzorH2674,whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834Nebuchadnezzarנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣רne.vu.khad.re.tzorH5019kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֔לba.VelH894defeatedהִכָּה֙hi.KahH5221.Thusכֹּ֖הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “Ariseק֚וּמוּKu.muH6965,goעֲל֣וּ'a.LuH5927up to Kedarקֵדָ֔רke.DarH6938And devastateוְשָׁדְד֖וּve.sha.de.DuH7703themenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of the eastקֶֽדֶם׃Ke.demH6924.

29They will takeיִקָּ֔חוּyi.Ka.chuH3947away their tentsאָהֳלֵיהֶ֤ם'o.ho.lei.HemH168and their flocksוְצֹאנָם֙ve.tzo.NamH6629;They will carryיִשְׂא֣וּyis.'UH5375offH5375for themselvesTheir tentיְרִיעוֹתֵיהֶ֧םye.ri.'o.tei.HemH3407curtainsH3407,allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605their goodsכְּלֵיהֶ֛םke.lei.HemH3627and theircamelsוּגְמַלֵּיהֶ֖םu.ge.ma.lei.HemH1581,And they will callוְקָרְא֧וּve.ka.re.'UH7121out to one another, ‘Terrorמָג֖וֹרma.GorH4032on everyH5439sideH5439!’
