13For thisis not for the easeἄνεσις,anesisG425of othersἄλλοιςalloisG243andfor your afflictionθλῖψις,thlipsisG2347,but by wayG1537of equalityG2471--

14at thisG3588presentνῦνnunG3568timeκαιρῷkairōG2540your abundanceπερίσσευμαperisseumaG4051being a supply fortheir needὑστέρημα,husterēmaG5303,soἵναinaG2443that their abundanceπερίσσευμαperisseumaG4051alsoκαὶkaiG2532may becomeG1096a supply foryour needὑστέρημα,husterēmaG5303,that there may be equalityἰσότηςisotēsG2471;

15as it is writtenγέγραπται·gegraptaiG1125, “He who gatheredmuchπολὺpoluG4183did not haveG4121tooG4121muchG4121, and he who gatheredlittleὀλίγονoligonG3641hadG1641noG3756lackG1641.”
