Judges 3:14-26

And the children of IsraelH3478 servedH5647 EglonH5700 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124 eighteen yearsH8141.

And the children of IsraelH3478 criedH2199 to Jehovah, and Jehovah raisedH6965 them up a saviour, EhudH164 the sonH1121 of GeraH1617, the Benjaminite, a manH376 left-handedH3225. And by him the children of IsraelH3478 sentH7971 a giftH4503 to EglonH5700 kingH4428 of MoabH4124.

And EhudH164 madeH6213 him a swordH2719 having twoH8147 edges, it was of a cubit lengthH753; and he girdedH2296 it under his raiment upon his rightH3225 hip.

And he broughtH7126 the giftH4503 to EglonH5700 kingH4428 of MoabH4124; now EglonH5700 was a veryH3966 fatH1277 manH376.

And it came to pass when he had endedH3615 offeringH4503 the giftH4503, he sentH7971 awayH7971 the peopleH5971 that had borneH5375 the giftH4503.

But he turnedH7725 from the graven images that were by GilgalH1537, and saidH559, I have a secret wordH1697 unto thee, O kingH4428. And he saidH559, Be silent! And all that stoodH5975 by him wentH3318 out from him.

And EhudH164 cameH935 to him; now he was sittingH3427 in the cool upper-chamber, which was for him aloneH905. And EhudH164 saidH559, I have a wordH1697 from 1GodH430 unto thee. And he aroseH6965 from the seatH3678.

Then EhudH164 put forthH7971 his left handH3027, and tookH3947 the swordH2719 from his rightH3225 hip, and thrustH8628 it into his bellyH990;

and the haft alsoH1571 wentH3318 in after the bladeH3851, and the fatH2459 closed upon the bladeH3851; for he did not drawH8025 the swordH2719 out of his bellyH990, and it cameH935 out between the legs.

And EhudH164 wentH3318 out into the portico, and shutH5462 the doorsH1817 of the upper-chamber upon him, and bolted them.

And when he was goneH3318 out, the servantsH5650 of the [king] cameH935 and sawH7200, and behold, the doorsH1817 of the upper-chamber were bolted. And they saidH559, SurelyH389 he is covering his feetH7272 in the summer chamberH5944.

And they waited till they were ashamedH954; and behold, he openedH6605 not the doorsH1817 of the upper-chamber, and they tookH3947 the keyH4668, and openedH6605 [them], and behold, their lordH113 lay deadH4191 on the earthH776.

And EhudH164 had escapedH4422 while they lingered, and passedH5674 beyond the graven images, and escapedH4422 to Seirah.
