Judges 16:4-20
And it came to pass afterwards that he lovedH157 a womanH802 in the valley of Sorek, whose nameH8034 was DelilahH1807.
And the lords of the PhilistinesH6430 cameH5927 up to her, and saidH559 to her, Persuade him, and seeH7200 in what his greatH1419 strengthH3581 is, and with what we may prevailH3201 against him, that we may bindH631 him to overpower him; and we will each giveH5414 thee eleven hundredH3967 silver-pieces.
Then DelilahH1807 saidH559 to SamsonH8123, TellH5046 me, I pray thee, in what is thy greatH1419 strengthH3581, and with what thou mightest be boundH631 to overpower thee.
And SamsonH8123 saidH559 to her, If they should bindH631 me with sevenH7651 freshH3892 cords which have not beenH1961 dried, then should I beH1961 weak, and beH1961 as another manH120.
Then the lords of the PhilistinesH6430 broughtH5927 up to her sevenH7651 freshH3892 cords which had not been dried, and she boundH631 him with them.
Now she had liers in waitH693 abiding in the chamberH2315; and she saidH559 to him, The PhilistinesH6430 are upon thee, SamsonH8123! And he broke the cordsH6616, as a thread of towH5296 is broken whenH834 it touches the fireH784; and his strengthH3581 was not knownH3045.
And DelilahH1807 saidH559 to SamsonH8123, Behold, thou hast mocked me and toldH5046 me liesH3576. NowH6258 tellH5046 me, I pray thee, with what thou mightest be boundH631.
And he saidH559 to her, If they should bindH631 me fast with newH2319 ropesH5688, with which no workH4399 has beenH1961 done, then should I beH1961 weak, and beH1961 as another manH120.
And DelilahH1807 tookH3947 newH2319 ropesH5688, and boundH631 him with them, and saidH559 to him, The PhilistinesH6430 are upon thee, SamsonH8123! Now there were liers in waitH693 abiding in the chamberH2315. And he broke them from off his armsH2220 like a threadH2339.
And DelilahH1807 saidH559 to SamsonH8123, Hitherto thou hast mocked me and toldH5046 me liesH3576. TellH5046 me with what thou mightest be boundH631. And he saidH559 to her, If thou shouldest weaveH707 the sevenH7651 locks of my headH7218 with the webH4545.
And she fastened it with the pinH3489, and saidH559 to him, The PhilistinesH6430 are upon thee, SamsonH8123! And he awokeH3364 out of his sleepH8142, and tore out the pinH3489 of the beam, and the webH4545.
Then she saidH559 to him, HowH4100 canst thou sayH559, I loveH157 thee, when thy heartH3820 is not with me? these threeH7969 timesH6471 hast thou mocked me, and hast not toldH5046 me in what is thy greatH1419 strengthH3581.
And it came to pass when she pressed him daily with her wordsH1697 and urged him, that his soulH5315 wasH1961 vexed unto deathH4191;
and he toldH5046 her all his heartH3820, and saidH559 to her, There has not come a razor upon my headH7218; for I am a Nazarite of 1GodH430 from my mother's wombH990; if I should beH1961 shaven, then my strengthH3581 would goH5927 from me, and I should beH1961 weak, and beH1961 like all mankind.
And DelilahH1807 sawH7200 that he had toldH5046 her all his heartH3820, and she sentH7971 and calledH7121 for the lords of the PhilistinesH6430, sayingH559, ComeH5927 up this timeH6471, for he has toldH5046 me all his heartH3820. And the lords of the PhilistinesH6430 cameH5927 up to her, and broughtH5927 the moneyH3701 in their handH3027.
And she made him sleepH3462 upon her knees, and calledH7121 a manH376, and she caused him to shaveH1548 off the sevenH7651 locks of his headH7218; and she beganH2490 to overpower him, and his strengthH3581 went from him.
And she saidH559, The PhilistinesH6430 are upon thee, SamsonH8123! And he awokeH3364 out of his sleepH8142, and thought, I will goH3318 out as at other timesH6471 before, and disengage myself. And he knewH3045 not that Jehovah had departed from him.
