Darby Bible
James 1:2-11
Count it all joyG5479, my brethren, whenG3752 ye fall into variousG4164 temptations,
knowingG1097 that the proving of your faithG4102 works enduranceG5281.
But let enduranceG5281 have [its] perfectG5046 workG2041, that ye may beG1510 perfectG5046 and complete, lackingG3007 in nothingG3367.
But if any oneG5100 of you lackG3007 wisdomG4678, let him askG154 of 1GodG2316, who givesG1325 to all freely and reproaches not, and it shall be givenG1325 to him:
but let him askG154 in faithG4102, nothingG3367 doubtingG1252. For he that doubtsG1252 is like a wave of the seaG2281 driven by the wind and tossed about;
for let not that manG444 think that he shall receiveG2983 anythingG5100 from the LordG2962;
[he is] a double-minded manG435, unstable in all his waysG3598.
But let the brotherG80 of low degree glory in his elevation,
and the richG4145 in his humiliationG5014, because as [the] grass's flowerG438 he will passG3928 awayG3928.
For the sunG2246 has risen with its burning heatG2742, and has witheredG3583 the grassG5528, and its flowerG438 has fallen, and the comeliness of its look has perishedG622: thusG3779 the richG4145 alsoG2532 shall witherG3583 in his goings.
