Hosea 9:10-14

I foundH4672 IsraelH3478 as grapes in the wildernessH4057; as first-ripe fruit on the fig-tree, I sawH7200 your fathersH1 at the beginning: they wentH935 to Baal-PeorH1187, and separated themselves unto that shameH1322, and becameH1961 abominationsH8251 like their loverH157.

As for EphraimH669, their gloryH3519 shall flyH5774 away as a birdH5775, — no birthH3205, no pregnancy, no conceptionH2032!

For even should they bringH1431 up their children, yet will I bereaveH7921 them, [that] not a manH120 [remain]: for woeH188 alsoH1571 to them when I shall have departedH5493 from them!

EphraimH669, as I sawH7200 [him], was a TyreH6865 plantedH8362 in a beautiful place; but EphraimH669 shall bringH3318 forthH3318 his children to the slayer.

GiveH5414 them, Jehovah — what wilt thou giveH5414? — giveH5414 them a miscarrying wombH7358 and dry breastsH7699.
